The Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker Released on Google Play Store
The Witcher saga has gained a lot of eyeballs as a story since the hit game The Witcher was released by CD Projekt Red, who are also famous for Cyberpunk 2077. However, The Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker is a spinoff that revolves around Meve, the Queen of Livia and Rivia, who is facing an imminent danger to her territory and must retaliate in return, which involves returning to her usual war ways.
The game description reads,” The world stands on the verge of chaos, as the tensions between the power-hungry Nilfgaardian Empire and proud Northern Realms grow. Facing an imminent invasion, Meve — war-veteran Queen of Lyria and Rivia — is forced to once again enter the warpath, and set out on a dark journey of destruction and revenge.”
The Witcher Tales: Thronebreaker features a single player campaign for GWENT: The Witcher Card game and has been developed by the very people responsible in the making of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Players can choose among the likes of Reynard Odo, Brouver Hoog, Gascon, Ardal aep Dahy, King Demavend III and even Queen Meve herself.
The Witcher Tales; Thronebreaker is now available on Google Play Store for Android devices, which means that the game has been ported to mobile devices as well. It will be intriguing to see how the mobile port affects the gameplay and mechanics. The Witcher: Monster Slayer is also due to arrive on mobile devices shortly.
