The press release from World of Tanks Blitz already gave us a glimpse of what to expect from an action-packed ‘cosmic’ April month in the game. World of Tanks Blitz announced their foray into space and Galactic Riches is the first event in a line of many for the month of April for the users. 

The Galactic Riches event is going to run from the 26th of March to the 5th of April in all regions with varied local timings. The event entails that a cosmic phenomenon named The Golden Globes alignment is upon the World of Tanks Blitz realm according to a report from the Terran Association of Serious Astronomers (TASA). 

The crux of the event sees players attempt to collect as many Golden Globes as possible in order to unlock an array of rewards like Gold Boosters, Free XP, Premium Account and other unique rewards.

Players will be able to collect Golden Globes through their battles, with each battle wherein a player gains 200 stars, the stars will be accompanied by 2 Golden Globes. The players can enhance their ability to gain Golden Globes by using boosters before entering a battle. 

A common booster will ensure 2 additional Golden Globes for the players; 3 Golden Globes if the players use a Rare Booster while an Epic Booster earns the users 4 additional Golden Globes. 

There are some exclusive rewards available in lieu of Golden Globes. The first reward in focus is a Certificate for 10x XP wherein players will receive 10 times the normal XP received during a battle. Players can unlock a maximum of 2 Certificates of 10x XP, with the certificates getting applied automatically. 

The Jupiter Epic Camouflage can be applied to your favourite tanks and add that galactic feel to your repertoire of tanks. Rewards include a Galactic Riches profile background that will give you that ‘cosmic’ feel the game promises in the month of April. There’s also a Lucky Clover Legendary Avatar available as part of the rewards in World of Tanks Blitz on PC. 

The best way to earn rewards and try your luck is the Galactic Container that includes two rewards. Players can earn Certificates for 10x XP, Jupiter Epic Camouflage, Galactic Riches profile background and mysterious Collector Items that are yet to be disclosed by TASA. 

Out of 2 random rewards in the Galactic Containers, one will yield you the likes of Gold, Free XP, the Lucky Clover Legendary avatar, a certificate for the Jupiter Epic camouflage, a part of the certificate for Premium Account, or a part of the camouflage for the MS-1.

The second part of the rewards will earn you parts or Certificates for Collector Tanks like a 3 star French Renault UE 57, a Russian 4 star T-28 mod. 1940, a 5 star German Pz. Sfl. IVc and a 6 star British Churchill Gun Carrier. 

That is just the beginning though, for April, as Natallia Pershyts, Publishing Product Director, World of Tanks Blitz said in the press release. She said,” April is a traditional “cosmic” month in World of Tanks Blitz, when we encourage our players to step out of the earthly limits and indulge in a truly out-of-this-world experience. This time, we’re treating them to a whole cluster of special activities so everyone can find something to their liking!”

The April teaser-cum-announcement also matches what Natallia Pershyts said. The teaser reads,” Three, two, one… Blast off! Houston, all clear! An exact replica of the new tank Explorer was sent into space. You can also expand your horizons because there are no limits in April: our events are cosmic, our operations are stellar, and our modes are out of this world! “

April will also witness events like a week of Burning Games from the 31st of March to the 4th of April, a Sheridan Rocket event from April 9 to 16 allowing players to get an experience of the Sheridan Missile Tank and the returning Galaxy Force game mode from the 12th of April to the 18th of the said month, with the mode launching a new ability that allows Tanks to ‘fly’ – jump and operate in air, adding that space feels to the battles. All this combines well with April’s Operation named Red Planet, which will have a Free and a Premium Rewards path like usual operations and battle passes. 

There is a lot to look forward to in April as World of Tanks Blitz launches into space, starting with the cosmic phenomenon called ‘The Golden Globes alignment’.
