The new event starts from 13th January 2022 as stated in the notes released on the game’s official website which lists the details for the event and the new Aurorians coming with the Dragon Maid’s Break time-limited event.
The latest collaboration event Dragon Maid’s Break is the latest event for the Google Play Best Innovative game of the year awarded title Alchemy Stars. For the new Aurorians, players can look forward to meeting their favorite characters from Kobayashi Dragon Maid anime/IP. The social media outlets have revealed the new Aurorians coming with the event and players are excited as this will present them with the new Aurorians Tohru, Kanna, Fafnir, Elma, and Lucoa which were teased with their silhouettes on the game’s various social media outlets. Alchemy Stars saw a simultaneous global launch in July 2021 and currently boasts an active player base of more than 10 million players and has just completed its half-year anniversary recently. Dragon Maid’s Break event description read the following – “You can let it all out in this world. My friends would definitely love it here!—Tohru.”
The event has already started and has all the stuff expected from an Alchemy Stars event – Daily Check-In event, Special Event Book, New Aurorians, and their Trials, New Event Currency, and Juicy Rewards! Let’s get into the details.
Dragon Maid’s Break – Time-Limited Event
Dragon Maid’s Break is a limited-time event that brings with it new content and heroes as well as their story. This whole event will start its operations on 13th January 2022 and will end on 23rd December 2021. The event itself brings with it an 8-Day Log In/Check-In Event, a new themed story for the event, and new Aurorians. It will also bring a new Special Event book for this new event which players can complete to obtain more rewards. Players can also purchase the advanced rewards pages of the book by paying the real money via a transaction or keep the free rewards as it is. Dragon Maid’s Break is a new type of event that combines the usual event currency farming as well as clearing the main story to gain more event currency. The event in general doesn’t have its own special main story stages as we have seen with all the previous events. However, Dragon Maid’s Break event does have its own event currency which is farmable unlimited without a certain cap on the amount you can farm. The requirement to access and complete this event will be – cleared Main stages 1-16.
This event has an event currency store and redeeming store where players can exchange their collected event currencies through grinding stages for prizes. Players can do this by going to the event and clicking on Tohru’s Kitchen tab which will lead the players to the event draw shop. Players can collect the event currency called Dinner Plates by farming the various main story stages as well as through the event 8-day login rewards. Players can further use this event currency in Tohru’s Kitchen to draw for juicy rewards like 3000 Lummaber and Star Crest.
Additional rewards include the likes of Event-themed Decorative items and furniture items, different colored order boxes, sublimes, and lots of Nightium. A special Dragon Maid collaboration character box is also included where players can choose one of the collaboration Aurorians from Lucoa or Elma. Let’s learn everything about the Dragon Maid’s Break event in detail.
Special Event Book
Battle passes in games give players rewards at each level. The same concept is applied to “Special Event Record”. This book consists of different pages where each page unlocks a specific reward at every page. This book consists of different tasks which are further divided into daily, weekly, and event-related tasks. Completing them will give players the required task points to advance in levels in the Special Event Records. Apart from the guide for quests and rewards, new purchasable packs themed for the new event will also be available to purchase in the store using real-life money. Completing the event is included as some of the missions in the special event book, hence, a good way to combine 2 rewards is by completing the event itself. Players are incentivized by getting free rewards as well for the joy of our free-to-play players in the form of Star Flares, Lumamber, General Jaspers and skin for Nails called The Stoic Coachman.
In the special event book, players can complete several quests listed in the Event Book which will grant them Book EXP. This EXP will contribute to leveling up your Special Event Book. The book contains a total of 60 levels with each level requiring 1000 EXP. The quests are divided into 3 parts – Stage 1, Stage 2, and Permanent Quests. The Stage 1 missions were the ones that are introduced to the players during the previously held event – Sands of Time. The Stage 2 quests are all from the current event – Dragon Maid’s Break. Players can complete the event and simultaneously get quests completed in the special event book as well. The quests are all easy and related to making meals in Tohru’s Kitchen.
Daily Sign-In Rewards
During the Dragon Maid’s Break event period, players can get additional materials and premium currency just by logging in. It is called the Daily Sign-In in the official event terms and lasts for 8 days. These 8 days start from whenever you first log in during the event period. However, these are available only till 23rd January 2022 so be careful to claim all the rewards within that time.

Aurorian Trial
Aurorian Trials is the standard approach of Alchemy Stars where they let all players experience how the new Aurorians can play by giving them a trial run. All players who complete the trial are rewarded with 50 Lumamber for each trial of the hero. In Dragon Maid’s Break event, the conditions and the trial is a little bit different than usual. Players are given a set team of the new 5 Aurorians which are coming with the current collaboration with Kobayashi Dragon Maid.
Players need to clear the Trial with this Set team and they will be rewarded with 200 Lumambers upon successful completion for the first time. Keep in mind that the team is fixed along with the stats. Players can only control the characters in the battle
Tohru’s Kitchen
As discussed above, Tohru’s Kitchen is the area where players can exchange their collected Dinner Plates (the event currency) for generous rewards. The rewards aren’t exactly like an exchange shop but instead are showcased through a draw mechanic where players have to draw for the rewards using their event currency. There are 5 different Dining Tables with each having multiple rewards and a single grand reward. Players can see the limit of the items they can get. After players get the grand prize of the current Dining Table, they can move on to the next Dining Table. Keep in mind that a single draw in any Dining Table costs 30 Dining Plates while a 10 pull/draw costs 300 Dining Plates.
