Arknights – Contingency Contract #9 Features Exusiai, Skadi, Mountain, and Kal’tsit Operators
The global version of Arknights is finally seeing the headhunting recruitment for 4 new 6-Star operators that are coming along with Contingent Contract #9. Arknights is available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store with in-game microtransactions enabled.

The new headhunting banners features 4 new operators – Exusiai, Skadi, Mountain, and Kal’tsit. These are going to be some of the top-tier units coming along with the update for Contingency Contract #9. Let’s take a look at the skills and abilities of the operators being added to Arknights.
Exusiai – Sniper
Exusiai is a 6-Star operator that is classified as a Marksman type in-game. She has a base Attack of 483, HP of 1237, and a Defense of 223. Her base Attack, Defense, and HP are comparatively balanced compared to other operators, as expected by a Defender. Exusiai is a ranged sniper. Her description reads the following – “Everyone’s favorite redheaded guardian angel. With a powerful SMG in her hand, she not only serves good looks but also significant firepower! As a single-target Sniper, Exusiai’s main role in the team is providing DPS in the early stage of a mission and taking down airborne units. Her specialty is dealing large amounts of damage through multi-hit attacks, which elevates her ability to take down low armor, and high HP targets like most bosses. All of her skills center around fast multi-hit attacks. Her first skill Charging Mode automatically deals 3 strengthened hits to a single enemy every few attacks, which makes it a great choice when sustained DPS is required. The second skill Shooting Mode is a short damage burst with a manual trigger.”

Charging Mode: Shoots 3 times in a row in the next attack, dealing 105% of ATK damage with every shot.
Shooting Mode: Shoots 4 times in a row, dealing 100% of ATK damage with every shot.
Overloading Mode – Shoots 5 times in a row. Automatically activated. This Skill modifies the Attack Interval by 0. There is currently a bug that causes the modifier to be applied twice, for a total Attack Interval modification of 0

Fast Cartridge (1st Talent) – ASPD +6
Angel’s Blessing (2nd Talent) – ATK +8% (+2%); Max HP +13% (+3%); The same buff is given to a random ally when Exusiai is deployed.

Penguin Logistics Alpha – When this Operator is assigned to a Trading Post, order acquisition efficiency +20%
Logistics Expert – When this Operator is assigned to a Trading Post, order acquisition efficiency is +35%.
Skadi – Guard
Skadi is a 6-Star operator that is classified as a Dreadnought/Duelist type in-game. She has a base Attack of 452, HP of 1521, and a Defense of 116. Skadi has a high base Attack amount compared to operators of similar rarity. Skadi is a melee duelist. Her description reads the following – “Skadi is an Aegir-Seaborn hybrid supersoldier who lost her family during childhood in a tragedy caused by the monsters. She was taken into the Abyssal Hunters project and was engineered to hunt down and exterminate the abyssal monsters. However, Skadi barely survived the devastating war against Ishar-mla and other Seaborn “gods” and luckily escaped to the shore. She has since disguised herself as a stoic bounty huntress known by the bizarre title “The Walking Catastrophe” thanks to her enormous strength as a Hunter. Fearing that her Seaborn blood would corrupt herself as well as bringing danger to others, she prefers to be alone most of the time, leading to her uneasy relationship with the land-dwellers.”

Swift Strike Y (Passive Ability): ATK +20%; ASPD +20
Wave Strike: ATK +80% for 15 seconds after Skadi is deployed.
Tidal Energy – ATK, DEF, and Max HP +70%

Abyssal Predator (1st Talent) – Increases ATK of ‘Abyssal Hunters’ Operators by 7%.
Swift Action (2nd Talent) – Redeployment Time -10 seconds.

Solitude – When this Operator is assigned to a Dormitory, self-Morale recovered +0.7 per hour
Elegy – When this Operator is assigned to a Dormitory, self Morale recovered +1 per hour.
Mountain – Guard
Mountain is a 6-Star operator that is classified as a Brawler/Fighter type in-game. He has a base Attack of 242, HP of 1298, and a Defense of 154. Mountain is a melee ranged bruiser. His description reads the following – “Anthony Simon is the only son of Smith Simon who was the director of the rising Columbian construction company Simon Co. However, he was convicted for a crime he did not commit and was sentenced for life imprisonment. This was actually a scheme arranged by his father to protect him from the rival company HydeBro (which happened to have dealings with Rhine Lab’s Energy Department). While the Simons were incarcerated in Bunkerhill State Prison where they would eventually meet their end, Anthony was instead sent to Mansfield State Prison which is out of HydeBro’s reach, thus ensuring his survival as the last of the Simons. For the next six years, Anthony built up the reputation as Mansfield’s strongest inmate through his constitution and wits, and even had some influence over the nomadic penitentiary’s staff.”

Left Hook: The next attack deals 140% ATK damage and hits 1 additional target
Sweeping Stance: Can switch between the original state and the following state:
DEF -30%, Attack Range reduces, ATK +20%, Block +1, attacks all blocked enemies, and restores 3% Max HP per second.
Earth-Shattering Smash: Attack interval increases, ATK +40%, attacks hit 2 times, increases the activation rate of the first Talent to 40%, and each attack pushes up to 3 surrounding targets away moderately.
Here are Mountain’s Talents in detail –
Forceful Fist (1st Talent) – 20% chance for attacks to deal 140% damage and reduce the target’s ATK by 10% for 3 seconds (Does not stack)
Sturdy Constitution (2nd Talent) – DEF +10%; Physical Dodge +15%
Here are Mountain’s base skills in detail –
Insider – When this Operator is assigned to the HR Office, increases HR contacting speed by +20%, and for every 1 contact made, increases the likelihood of obtaining Blacksteel clues (working time and recruitment slots improve the likelihood)
Columbian History – When this Operator is assigned to the Reception Room, every time that a non-Rhine Lab clue is collected, the likelihood of obtaining Rhine Lab clues is increased (working time improves the likelihood) (Clue 1)
Kal’tsit – Medic
Kal’tsit is a 6-Star operator that is classified as a Medic type in-game. She has a base Attack of 167, an HP of 865, and a Defense of 94. Kal’tsit is a ranged medic that can heal her allies. Her description reads the following – “One of the first members of Rhodes Island and one of the few remaining members of its predecessor, Babel, alongside the Doctor, Closure, and W, the Feline named Kal’tsit is the head of the Medical Department and R.I.’s unofficial leader/director – despite Amiya being the de jure leader. Although Kal’tsit seems to be a cold person with a detached and unfriendly attitude, she is an admirable leader with great determination. She is willing to make great sacrifices to protect those important to her, particularly Amiya and the Doctor because of a promise she had made to protect them, despite currently wanting to kill the Doctor herself. While Kal’tsit has been on worse terms with the Doctor since Theresa’s death, she eventually cast aside her mistrust to work together with them in the face of greater threats. With the biomechanical creature that accompanies her at all times, Mon3tr, Kal’tsit is willing to provide help to the Doctor in the direst situations.”

Command: Structural Fortification: This unit and Mon3tr gains DEF +60%. This unit also gains 20% Physical resist
Command: Tactical Coordination: This unit gains ASPD +30; Mon3tr gains ATK +20% and attacks all blocked enemies
This skill is Tied to Mon3tr.
Command: Meltdown: Mon3tr gains DEF +100%, ATK +130% that gradually decays to +0% over the skill duration and deals True damage. If this skill ends without Mon3tr killing any enemies, Mon3tr loses 50% Max HP. This skill is Tied to Mon3tr
Here are Kal’tsit’s Talent skills in detail:
Mon3tr (1st Talent skill) – Can use and heal Mon3tr, and Mon3tr has a 35-second redeployment time. Kal’tsit will prioritize healing herself and Mon3tr; If Mon3tr is not within Kal’tsit’s Attack Range, Mon3tr’s DEF is reduced to 0.
Non-Damaging Restructuring (2nd Talent skill) – When Mon3tr is defeated (excluding retreat), all enemies in the surrounding 8 tiles are stunned for 3 seconds and receive 1200 True damage

Unknown Technology – When this Operator is assigned to the Workshop to process any material, the production rate of by-products increases by 70%
Highest Authority – When this Operator is assigned to the Control Center, all Factories’ productivity +2% (only the most effective one will take effect when assigned Operators have the same skill effect).
