Azur Lane: April Update - New Limited-Time Events, New Memory, and more!
We are already halfway through April, but Azur Lane is just warming up with the new, limited-time events they have planned for this month. Remember how we got a new character in last month’s update, featuring the aircraft carrier Ark Royal Meta?
This month, YoStar Co. is giving us new limited-time events, new memory, and a construction pool update. Here are Azur Lane’s 04/15 Patch Notes and everything you need to watch out for in this new update.
New events
The limited-time event Call to Arms: Sardegna Empire Phase I is now live in the game. This will be a prelude event where you can earn extra experience by sortieing with the following characters:
- Littorio
- Aurora
- Nelson
- Gloucester
Call to Arms: Sardegna Empire Phase I will run from April 15 to April 21 at 11:59 p.m. UTC-7.
The Blueprint Completion Plan – Monarch is now also available for playing. All Commanders will have the chance to grab extra Monarch blueprints after each research. Note that the maximum number of Monarch blueprints that can be obtained is 30.
Monarch is this redhead, a battleship under the Royal Navy faction.
This Blueprint Completion Plan – Monarch will run from April 15 to May 12 at 11:59 p.m. UTC-7.
You also need to look forward to the following characters to the construction pool after the update:

- Harutsuki (Light Construction Pool)
- Fumizuki (Light Construction Pool)

- I – 13 (Special Construction Pool)
Additionally, Kongou, Haruna, and Mutsu have been added to the Core Data Shop.
New Memory
Experience the story of Allen M. Sumner as Azur Lane releases her new Memory. Allen M. Sumner is the Super Rare destroyer under the Eagle Union. Her new Memory will be called Three- Star Luxury Romance.
After experiencing her new Memory, would you say that Allen M. Sumner is the best character in Azur Lane?
If you want to know more about Azur Lane’s best ships and characters, you can read more about that on our previous blog post here.
New optimizations
If you have been doing daily raids for years now, YoStar has got a new feature for you — you can now do “Quick battles!”
The clearing mode unlocking feature has been updated as well. Now it will only unlock after a threat level of a stage has been completely eliminated — a useful feature for all commanders out there.
The SOS signal now spawns in the current stage instead of a random stage.
Operation Siren’s auto search feature has also been optimized and improved. In the normal zone, Siren weather control devices and communication devices will no longer interrupt the auto search process while in the hidden zone, the auto search fleet will search for the nearest ones.
Finally, YoStar has fixed some minor issues like some of the characters’ barrage not showing up during combat.
All players will receive 2,500 oils and 2,000 coins as compensation for the maintenance downtime.
