Echocalypse: Scarlet Covenant has just launched their brand-new update, synchronizing right on time as the new year begins! The update titled as “Heavenly Empowerment” can already be seen live in-game as it was implemented on 31st December, 2023. Receiving a warm response from players worldwide, Echocalypse: Scarlet Covenant has grossed over 1.7 million USD worldwide, making it quite the success! Ever since Echocalypse: Scarlet Covenant has launched globally; the developers seem to have implemented a lot of new features as well as cleaned up the UI (User Interface) to attract new players. In fact, the SEA version of the game has been completely reworked as well to be more user friendly. Players who love story-oriented RPGs that also offer tactical combat formation will love the new event that has started with the update! The highlight for the entire update has to be the new SSR case Levia, a high priestess of the Holy Church. Let’s check out all the new contents that were added to the game with the Heavenly Empowerment update.

New SSR Case – Levia

Levia is the newest SSR case being added to the game with the Heavenly Empowerment update. Her description reads as follows – “As the pope and the inheritor of Saint Peter, one of the three Holy Names, Levia is the kingpin of the Empire’s religious apparatus, and she is very aware of that. She is constantly striving to strengthen people’s faith, deeply convinced that it will lead to greater power and a secure reign.”

Levia is a great supportive damage dealer that can aid your allies in gaining more Rage over time. Her Radiance effect also empowers allies to deal more damage with their abilities. Levia herself can be quite the menace if placed in the right team composition as her damage multipliers are nothing to be laughed at. Check out all of Levia’s active and passive abilities:

• Divine Retribution (Normal Attack) – When using her normal attack [Divine Retribution], Levia sends down the retribution of Augustus, dealing 106% Magic DMG to a single enemy row. There’s a 50% chance to restore 2 Rage for herself.  
• Radiance Imprint (Active Skill) – The heavenly judgment shall befall the world. When using her skill [Radiance Imprint], Levia deals 143% Magic DMG to all enemies. There’s a 100% chance to restore 2 Rage for herself and another allied row, and grant [Radiance] to herself and the targeted allied row for 2 rounds. [Radiance] can make the next active attack deal 20% more DMG. This effect can stack.
• Heavenly Enabler (Passive Skill) – When using her passive skill [Heavenly Enabler], Levia unleashes a blaze of light. At the start of the battle, Levia gains 2 Rage. When retreating, she casts her skill one more time.
• Vibration Arms (Listener’s Lantern) – Levia’s exclusive Vibration Arms [Listener’s Lantern] can unlock her Vibration skill [Bathed in Radiance]: Levia ignites the light. When casting a skill, she has a 20% chance to restore 2 Rage for 2 random allies. Each time she casts a skill, her chance of restoring Rage increases by 20%. When Levia is still alive after gaining access to Senko’s organization, [Lord of Shadows], the Crit Rate of the nearby units rises by 20%. Additionally, more Attribute Bonuses can be unlocked when Levia is used with Vivi, Audrey, Beam, Niz, and Baphomet.

From 31st December 2023, to 13th January, 2024, players who are level 20 and above will be eligible to summon on the Advent of Holiness recruitment banner. The rates for obtaining the cases will remain the same but Levia will have a 50% higher chance of being summoned if you manage to recruit an SSR case.

SSR Vibration Arm Rate-Up Banner

From 31st December 2023, to 13th January, 2024, players who are level 44 and above will be eligible to summon on the Whispers From Afar recruitment banner. The rates for obtaining the vibration arm will remain the same but Levia’s Vibration Arm “Listener’s Lantern” will have a higher chance of being summoned if you manage to recruit an SSR vibration arm.

Heavenly Empowerment: Levia-themed Update and Event

One of the first character themed events for Echocalypse: Scarlet Covenant has just started in-game! Heavenly Empowerment series of events are available for a limited time, from 31st December 2023 to 13th January 2024. Players can get a slight gist of the event storyline by reading up this synapse – “In order to investigate the legendary Dragon Orchid, Pope Levia personally took action, sneaking into the territory of Eastrise on the eve of the anniversary…” Holy Mark will be the event currency for the Heavenly Empowerment event. Keep in mind, only players above Level 20 are eligible to participate in this event. Players can earn Holy Mark through various ways, such as:

• Event Mission “Divine Order“
• Event Stage “Chapter of Divinity“
• BOSS Battle “Divine Judgement“
• Unique Gameplay “Divine Ritual“
• Purchase Pack “Divine Contract“
• Explore Map “Divine Crusade“

In addition to getting Holy Marks, players can also get SR grade Levia’s exclusive weapon Prototype Listener’s Lantern! This exclusive weapon is just slightly inferior in terms of stats to the SSR grade version but it also helps activate Levia’s Vibration skill.
