It seems the developers are keen on updating the game frequently and adding onto the hype with new features. The newest update, titled as “Year-End Oriental Tales” is a themed event that forays into the adventures of new cases Dorothy and Kuri! Meet these cute maidens in all their glory live in-game as the update was concluded on 26th February, 2024. Echocalypse: Scarlet Covenant is available as a free-to-play game on both Google Play Store and iOS App Store. 

The core highlights of the update remain to be the addition of 2 new SSR cases – Kuri and Dorothy. Apart from it, players can also participate in exciting festivities that accompany the update. New SSR Cases – Kuri and Dorothy

Kuri and Dorothy are the newest SSR cases added to the game with the Year-End Oriental Tales update. Their introduction reads as follows – “A vibrant New Year! As per request from Beam, “let’s shoot a small video in Hot Spring Village!”, the Awakeners — Beam, Audrey, and Dorothy from Empire — journeyed to the hot spring village in Eastrise.

Kuri, the sole hostess in Hot Spring Village, is enthusiastic yet super mysterious. She loves to tell everyone about the legend of the “Great Serpent”…

Meanwhile, the unexpected guests from Nebu added many interesting stories to this New Year’s trip. Who knew things could get so chaotic in Eastrise? Get ready, because [Epic Countdown – Year-end Oriental Tales] is about to begin!”

SSR Kuri Rate-Up Banner

From 25th February 2024, to 9th March 2024, players who are level 7 and above will be eligible to summon on the Pyro Maid recruitment banner. The rates for obtaining the cases will remain the same but Kuri will have a 50% higher chance of being summoned if you manage to recruit an SSR case.

SSR Dorothy Rate-Up Banner

From 25th February 2024, to 9th March 2024, players who are level 7 and above will be eligible to summon on the Starlight Stage Construction recruitment banner. The rates for obtaining the cases will remain the same but Dorothy will have a 50% higher chance of being summoned if you manage to recruit an SSR case.

SSR Kuri Vibration Arm Rate-Up Banner

From 25th February 2024, to 9th March 2024, players who are level 44 and above will be eligible to summon on the Dress of Cream recruitment banner. The rates for obtaining the vibration arm will remain the same but Kuri’s Vibration Arm “Cake Decorator” will have a higher chance of being summoned if you manage to recruit an SSR vibration arm.

From 25th February 2024, to 9th March 2024, players who are level 44 and above will be eligible to summon on the Starlight Wave recruitment banner. The rates for obtaining the vibration arm will remain the same but Dorothy’s Vibration Arm “Rave” will have a higher chance of being summoned if you manage to recruit an SSR vibration arm.

Year-End Oriental Tales: Limited-Time Events

The Epic Countdown – Year End Oriental Tales update features a set of limited -time events, starting from 25th February to 9th March 2024. Players who are above level 20 will be eligible to participate in this event. Awakeners have various options to acquire [Lucky Money] during this event. In-store rewards like S Elementium and the Special Chimera Material Selection Box can be obtained by exchanging these notes. Players will be able to obtain the event currency Lucky Money via the following tasks:

To obtain Dorothy SR Vibration Arm [Prototype Rave] and Kuri SR Vibration Arm [Prototype Cake Decorator], complete the assigned missions. The SR Vibration Arm will be just a slightly inferior version of the SSR version but it will have the same abilities. 

New Exclusive Limited-Time Outfits

Lastly, it wouldn’t be in style if the developers didn’t add more flare and swag to your outfit collections! The new divine outfits come with enhanced special effects and cute animations that are tailored-made for specific cases.
