Epic Seven – New Hero Lua, Astromancer Elena and From Pride to Hubris Side Story
The 4th anniversary of Epic Seven was quite the show with players getting some juicy rewards along the way. The end of the competitive tournament of E7WC 2022 (Epic Seven World Cup) also gave rise to the developers posting the official roadmap notes for the rest of the year and the start of 2023. For the time being, the game is back to releasing new heroes and new events to keep the players interested and engaged. These updates are made known to the community through the community managers Mashuu and Gregory via live streams on the game’s official YouTube channel and Twitch channel. Players are also rewarded with special gift codes for tuning in to the live streams. The chest code for this week is – astromancer. Input this code in the gift chest given to you in your in-game mailbox for some free rewards (3 leifs and 300,000 Gold).
For this week’s patch preview live stream, players were delighted to see the addition of 2 brand new heroes coming to the game. As expected, both of them were previously teased as well through a silhouette covered banner. The first hero joining the roster of heroes will be Lua – the 5-Star Ice elemental ranger. Players will be able to summon through their special summoning banner using covenant bookmarks. The second hero is going to the moonlight version of Elena – Astromancer Elena, a 5-Star Light elemental Ranger hero. As per tradition, the new moonlight hero will be available to be summoned through mystic summons in October 2022. Lastly, a new side story titled “From Pride to Hubris” is also released where players will be seeing the backstory of the newly added hero Lua. A new side story especially for the new hero Lua is going to be released after the patch update on 6th October 2022. The new side story features the adventure of Lua in the world of Orbis.
Players will have to travel to different locations on the side story map. On the map, players will encounter many different stages. Stages are divided into 3 types:
- Story Stage – In these stages, players will be tasked to view the main storyline of the side story. These stages might be or might not be associated with a battle sequence depending on the stage. In these stages, Lua will be accompanying players in the battle as an NPC character. These stages will also have some additional conditions which are required to be fulfilled by the players in order to obtain extra premium currency. Players will also earn the event currency for this side story after they emerge victorious.

Some battle stages may also provide Lua as an NPC hero that is mandatory to be taken into the battles. Players will earn event currency as well post the victory.
- Boss Stage – In these stages, players are required to defeat the boss monster that will come at the end of the waves of enemies. These stages provide players with a higher amount of event currency compared to regular battle stages. Boss stages are further divided into multiple difficulties to suit the level of players – Easy Difficulty/ Normal Difficulty/ Hard Difficulty/ Extreme Difficulty.
Players are required to have cleared at least Episode 1, Chapter 10 Stage 10 (Stage Minaret) to be able to access the side story. The From Pride to Hubris side story is going to run for 2 weeks. The name of the event currency for the side story is still not known yet. Players can play the different side story stages and grind them repeatedly to collect the event currencies.
