Epic Seven – New Heroes Beehoo, Peacemaker Furious, Enraged Blazing Emissary Advent Side Story and 2 New Exclusive Equipment
The first major update for the biggest anime-stylized turn-based RPG Epic Seven is here! Long before the actual update was dropped, the community already suspected some of the features and heroes that were going to be released in a datamined leak. Well, it seems the developers finally have revealed their plans with the official update already live in-game as it was implemented on 19th January 2023. However, some of the features that were shown in the Patch Preview are still not yet released such as the new heroes that are scheduled to release next week. Epic Seven is a free-to-play game that is available on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. Players can get Leif x 3 + Gold x 300,000 as rewards from the locked chest in their mail. The chest code is – peacemaker. Use this code to unlock the chest in your in-game mailbox.

First things first, 2 new heroes – Beehoo and Peacemaker Furious are being added to the game after 26th January 2023. Both of the heroes have some interesting skill sets and are primarily a DPS type hero. It will be interesting to see how they fare with the current meta of the game. Apart from traditional event-based side stories, Epic Seven has also started hosting a new type of side story called Advent Side Stories. The 3rd edition of the Advent Side story titled “Enraged Blazing Emissary” is also included in the update. Finally, 2 new exclusive equipment are also added to enhance the usage of lesser used heroes. Let’s check all the new content coming to Epic Seven with the 26th January 2023 update.
Beehoo – New Fire Elemental 5-Star Unit
Beehoo is a natural 5-Star Fire elemental hero that is classified as a Ranger in-game. Beehoo is slated to release on 26th January 2023. Players will be able to recruit Beehoo through his own special recruitment banner where Beehoo will be guaranteed to be summoned after 120 summons are made. His hero description reads the following – “The protector of the Wicked who defends the sealed land!”
Beehoo’s skills are as follows: –
Scorching Flare – Attacks the enemy with flames, burning for 1 turn. When used on the caster’s turn, has a 50% chance to use Incinerate instead of Scorching Flare.
Incinerate – Attacks the enemy with an explosion of flames and burns for 1 turn, before detonating burn effects inflicted on the target at the end of the turn. This skill cannot trigger a Dual Attack.
Soulburn effect (-10 Souls): Has a 100% chance to use Incinerate.
+1: + 5% damage dealt
+2: + 5% damage dealt
+3: + 5% damage dealt
+4: + 5% damage dealt
+5: + 5% damage dealt
+6: + 5% damage dealt
+7: + 10% damage dealt
Flame Keeper – Increases Attack and Defense by 20%. When attacking, cannot trigger a critical hit. Increases burned damage suffered by enemies by 30%. This skill does not stack with other passive skills of the same name.

Feast of Radiance – With light, dispels two buffs from all enemies and makes them unable to be buffed for 2 turns, before increasing Combat readiness of the caster by 50%. Increases Combat readiness of all allies except for the caster by 20%.
+1: – 1 turn cooldown
Sphere of Inferno (5-Star Artifact) – After using a non-attack skill, increases combat readiness of the caster by 20%, and after the next attack, burns the target for 2 turns.
Peacemaker Furious – Dark Elemental 4-Star Unit
Peacemaker Furious is a natural 4-Star Dark elemental hero that is classified as a Ranger in-game. Peacemaker Furious going to be available as a playable hero after 26th January 2023. Players will be able to summon him from the Mystic Summons banner using their Mystic Medals. Peacemaker Furious’s description reads the following – “Aakhen’s final bastion who fights for peace!”
Peacemaker Furious skills are as follows: –
Corner Them! – Swiftly attacks the enemy, and increases Combat Readiness of the caster by 15%. When used on the caster’s turn, has a 40% chance to grant an extra attack with the same skill. Damage dealt increases proportional to the caster’s Defense.
+1: + 5% damage dealt
+2: + 5% damage dealt
+3: + 5% damage dealt
+4: + 5% damage dealt
+5: + 5% damage dealt
+6: + 5% damage dealt
+7: + 10% damage dealt
Burn Effect: Increases effect chance to 100%. (-10 Souls)
Set In Motion– Increases Speed of all allies for 2 turns, and grants fury to the caster for 3 turns before granting an extra turn.
Fury: Increases Defense and Effect Resistance by 30%. Cannot be dispelled.
+1: – 1 turn cooldown
Black Hole Cannon – Attacks all enemies with a huge explosion, decreasing Combat Readiness by 30%. When the caster’s Defense is greater than the target’s Defense, penetrates the target’s Defense, with penetration rate increasing proportional to the difference, up to a maximum of 60%. Damage dealt increases proportionally to the caster’s Defense. Removes 10 Souls from the enemy.

New Exclusive Equipment
The best way to empower any hero in Epic Seven has been to given them an exclusive equipment. For unaware players, these exclusive equipment’s are essentially a boost to their ability as well as one of their core stats. For example, some heroes might be lacking in Base Speed. This problem can be solved by giving them an exclusive equipment that can increase their speed. In this month’s first Patch preview, the 2 heroes who will be getting their exclusive equipment are – Krau and Sharun. Here are the new exclusive equipment and their skills: –
- Grace of the Vast Ocean Tide (Speed 5-10) (5-Star Hero Krau)
- Swordstorm – Increases Swordstorm’s chance to provoke by 25%.
- Charge – Increases speed of the caster for 2 turns when using Charge.
- Summon Ziegfried – When an enemy is defeated by Summon Ziegfried, decreases cooldown of this skill by 2 turns.
- Beads of Mystic Spirits (Effectiveness 8-16%) (5-Star Hero Sharun)
- Just Trust Me – With Just Trust Me’s effect, increases Combat Readiness of the caster by an additional 5%.
- Just Trust Me – Increases Just Trust Me’s barrier strength by 15%.
- May You Perish – Decreases skill cooldown of May You Perish by 1 turn.
Advent Side Story – Enraged Blazing Emissary
The newest Advent Side story is titled as “Enraged Blazing Emissary”. Players who have cleared the Episode 2 Chapter 10 Stage 10 will be eligible to be enter and participate in the advent side story. The difficulty of these side stories is generally on a more elevated level compared to the usual side stories. They also require the players to have a wide variety of heroes in their roster at their disposal. This is due to the fact that players need to use 3 different teams, consisting of 4 unique heroes each. This diversifies the team compositions and gives players a more challenging way of dealing with PvE content. The Advent side story has already started at the time of writing, with the duration being roughly for 2 weeks. Starting from 19th January 2023 to 2nd February 2023, this Advent side story is going to reward players with tons of resources.
This Advent side story has 3 different difficulties that all players can take part in – Hard, Hell, and Epic Hell. Players can only select and clear a higher difficulty once they have cleared the difficulty before it. The Epic Hell difficulty can only be cleared up to a maximum of 5 times through the entire duration of the event. Players will collect 2 different types of event currencies by farming the side stories – Little Flame of the Inferno and Inferno Origin. Players can earn the Little Flame of the Inferno event currency from the Hard and Hell difficulty levels. Players can earn the Inferno Origin event currency only from the Epic Hell difficulty or through the exchange shop a limited number of times.
The rewards included in the advent side story are quite generous, such as MolaGora, Greater and Lesser Artifact Charms, Penguins, Epic, and Rare Catalysts, Giga Phantasms, Covenant Bookmarks, Reforging Material Selection Chest, and Light elemental bookmarks. Apart from these resources, players can also earn additional stuff by completing the reputation missions pertaining to the Advent side story.
