Free Fire to Revamp Logo in Upcoming July Update
Garena Free Fire (also known simply as Free Fire) is a battle royale mobile game for Android and iOS devices. It is being developed by 111dots Studio and published by Garena. It holds records for being the most globally downloaded mobile game in 2019.
Free Fire will come with a new update in July, for which the developers have decided to upgrade their existing logo to a new one. The new logo comes with an elegant and modern design. It will catch more attention in the game’s rapid growth over the last few years.
“Our general community has always been the motivation behind all the creative changes we bring to Free Fire. Through this brand update, we wish to create a different art style for the Free Fire game, allowing them to enjoy a more vibrant and inclusive gaming experience.” – Harold Teo (Producer at Garena)
Garena has revealed that Free Fire will come with various other visual graphic changes and upgrades such as –
- A new font family called GFF (short for Garena Free Fire), co-created by Akira Kobayashi.
- New in-game visuals inspired by the new Garena Free Fire logo to create a more immersive experience for the players.
While the logo revamp will not change anything related to the game for users, it is still considered a bold step in Esports, with many organizations previously trying and failing to impress the fans and general public with their redesigns.
