Koda is the newest character to be unlocked in Free Fire MAX. The game boasts a variety of characters, each having unique abilities to help them survive and secure kills. Koba is a stealthy ninja that has the ability of “Aurora Vision”. This ability boosts his overall movement speed, on top of granting vision of nearby enemies. He’s ideal for those who enjoy fast-paced, aggressive gameplay with an obsessive focus on kills.

New Weapons

A free fire update won’t be complete without mentioning any new weapons. The M590 shotgun is the latest addition to the arsenal of weapons boasted by Free Fire MAX. It has an area explosion effect, making it a formidable opponent in close-range combat. It is ideal for eliminating opponents hidden in small locations. Other weapons, such as the P90, M4A1, and M14, are also undergoing balance changes to keep things fair and interesting.

Bermuda Map Enhancements: The Clock Tower is adorned with festive decorations, and a new rail system connects various points of interest, facilitating quicker movement and strategic gameplay.  

Dynamic Combat Updates

The update introduces several combat-related features:

Fortified Tracks: These tracks enable swift movement, shooting, and diving into intense combat scenarios. 

Aurora Effect: Interacting with coin machines and supply gadgets now grants extra loot and currency boosts, enhancing resource acquisition during matches.   

Character Adjustments

OB47 is a major update, and such updates usually contain character and weapon adjustments. With the addition of a new character, the previous roster is not getting overlooked. A plethora of balance changes are coming for several popular characters in the current meta. Check out the list below:

Hayato: Hayato is now better suited for close combat, as he rips through opposing armor with ease.

Lila: A total nightmare for vehicle users—her onslaught slows vehicles down significantly, making them easy targets.

Nairi: Healing on Glue Walls now takes two seconds instead of three, and you can only regenerate up to 20 HP.

Ryden: Ryden’s talent, “Crab,” can now pin many foes at once.

Tatsuya: Dash twice in a row, however you must wait 5 seconds before using it again.

Other Adjustments and Optimizations

The miscellaneous changes and optimization are as follows:

• Battle Royale Vending Machines: Redesigned to make purchasing items easier and more enjoyable.
• Mushroom Purchase Optimization: It will be easier to get those power-ups when you need them.
• Sniper Crosshair: A new feature for sniper enthusiasts that improves your aim by maintaining the crosshair in the center of your screen.
• Frosty Track: Adds a quick variation to movement dynamics in ice regions.
