Genshin Impact 5.1 Update: The Rainbow Destined to Burn

Genshin Impact 5.1 update, titled “The Rainbow Destined to Burn,” introduces new characters, events, and system enhancements. This update adds the 5-star character Xilonen, a Geo-element sword user, along with returning characters in special event banners. Players can participate in the Forge Realm’s Temper, a strategic challenge where stage parameters can be adjusted to earn rewards. The Imaginarium Theater also returns, featuring Pyro, Electro, and Dendro characters in themed challenges. Additionally, the Spiral Abyss gets a refresh, with new Ley Line Disorders and updated monster line-ups. Check out everything new coming to the game with the 5.1 update.

Genshin Impact 5.1 New Character: Xilonen

Xilonen is a 5-star Geo elemental character that uses a sword as primary weapon. Her description reads as follows – “A Name Engraver of the Nanatzcayan, she is especially skilled at finding a good balance between the heavy responsibilities of her job and living well.” Her abilities are as follows:

Yohual’s Scratch (Elemental Skill) – Xilonen carries three Geo Samplers that can make various soundscapes dependent on the Elemental Types of her other party members (Pyro, Hydro, Cryo, and Electro). Different soundscapes can result in Elemental Skills and Bursts that cause diverse effects and reduce adjacent opponents’ Elemental RES while active. After using her Elemental Skill, Xilonen will enter Nightsoul’s Blessing state and switch to Blade Roller mode. In this phase, Xilonen’s Normal Attacks allow her to perform many kicks with her roller blades. She can also move quickly, climb, and activate her Geo Samplers.
Ocelotlicue Point (Elemental Burst) – Deals AoE Geo DMG to opponents based on several soundscapes: Restores HP to nearby active characters or deals more AoE Geo DMG.

Genshin Impact 5.1 New Weapon: Peak Patrol Song

Peak Patrol Song is a 5-star sword that has the following ability:

After hitting an opponent with Normal or Plunging Attacks, earn “Ode to Flowers”: DEF improves by 8% and All Elemental DMG Bonus of 10% for 6 seconds. Maximum of two stacks. Can trigger once every 0.1 seconds. When this effect hits two stacks or the duration of the second stack is refreshed, all adjacent party members’ All Elemental DMG Bonus increases by 8% for every 1,000 DEF the equipping character has for 15 seconds, up to a maximum of 25.6%.
