Genshin Impact 5.5 Release Date

Since the new update is scheduled to be released on March 26, 2025, just after the 5.4 version ends, you won’t have to wait any longer for it. 

Natlan Expansion

Well as you’ve all been waiting for the expansions of Natlan, your wishes have been answered in the new 5.5 Version of Genshin Impact. 

The new region will be called “The Volcano of Tollan.” It’s a big volcano that seemed to be the central focus of Natlan’s expansion. The Pyro Archon Murata and Dragonlords roamed the land before. Their Kingdom did not survive however, and the Abyss, one of Genshin Impact’s primary enemy groups, seized control of the volcano. The new expansion will subsequently result in new World Quests and Events as well. 

Some Prerequisites

According to some sources, before playing the 5.5 version, the players are asked to complete the existing World Quests of Natlan in order to transition into the new content easily. They are known as “The Lost Traveller in the Land of Ashes” which was introduced with the introduction of Ochkanatlan in the Pyro Nation in version 5.2, and “Revelation from the Past” which was introduced in version 5.0.

The leaks have suggested these two new characters, who will debut in Version 5.5: 

Ifa: Ifa is a 4-star character, who is a bow user. He is a Flower-Feather Clan veterinarian who is described as a laid-back and amiable person with a knack for connecting with Saurians (dragons or other Natlan natives), and he may offer pet-based mechanics.

Veresa: We all love a new 5 star and Veresa is that character for version 5.5. Her element is electro, and She is renowned for her ravenous hunger and is a member of the Collective of Plenty. She famously consumed an incredible 80 dishes of Hot Spring O’Clock to win the “242nd Inferno Stomach Supremo” tournament.
