Gameloft’s hero-collector mobile RPG Heroes of the Dark: Squad RPG is known for their festival heroes and feature-rich updates. The developers have shared a sneak peak of the new hero called “Avikelara” that will grace the battlefield & House of Manor as the features hero in the upcoming Update 13. Given the title of “Nightmare Queen”, she will excel at punishing healers and team compositions that rely on sustenance over time. Heroes of the Dark: Squad RPG is available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. 

Avikelara – New Hero

Avikelara, the Nightmare Queen, is a formidable assassin of the Legendary troops that specializes in immobilizing her enemies and reduce healing effects of enemies on the battlefield. Her description reads as follows – “Her insatiable thirst for blood is renowned in Tenebris, and she excels at draining her prey dry, inflicting bleeding wounds in the process. Avikelara is a potent choice for punishing teams that rely on healing and pairs seamlessly with other bleed-focused Heroes.”

Her reputation as the blood devouring queen comes with solid backing, as her active & passive abilities scream Bleed debuffs inflicted on enemies. Her perk “Thrill of the Night” reduces the incoming damage from Werewolves classified heroes. Additionally, Avikelara and her allies will take reduced damage from inflicted Bleeds. 

Avikelara’s 1st active ability “Heartseeker” is a single targeted damaging skill that inflicts 1 stack of Bleed and 1 stack of Unhealable debuffs simultaneously for a duration of 2 seconds. The Bleeding effect will last for 5 seconds, penetrating enemies Armor as well. Avikelara’s 1st passive ability “Bloody Hell” increases her own Attack power and Attack speed in accordance to the number of enemies afflicted with the Bleed debuff on the battlefield. Avikelara’s 2nd passive ability “Sweet Suffering” states that every 3rd basic attack used against the same enemy results in affliction of another Bleeding stack. Further, the amount of damage dealt by the 3rd strike is restored as her own HP.

Lastly, Avikelara’s 3rd passive ability “Her Cruelty” imposes reduced damage output on enemies that are suffering with Bleed debuffs. Additionally, they take increased damage from enemies as well. This effect can be stacked up to 5 times.
