In the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail 1.2 update, the developers at HoYoverse have released a list of various tweaks and features to be added in the new patch. The team is actively keeping players feedback in mind since the launch of Version 1.1, based on the latest Honkai: Star Rail Developer Radio for July 2023. As the update gets closer to its finish line, the development team gathers players’ suggestions for numerous tweaks and enhancements that will be reflected in Version 1.2.

New  Feature “Eye Comfort Mode”

One of the new features, that is being included in Version 1.2, is called Eye Comfort Mode. By decreasing the intensity of light and graphics this new feature will improve the overall gaming experience, which in turn will make the visuals of the game more pleasant to watch.

Eye Comfort Mode was developed by keeping players’ concerns in mind about eye fatigue throughout lengthy gaming sessions. This feature is handy at night and makes the player’s visual experience smoother and less intense. Eye Comfort Mode will create a healthier gaming experience as this will lower brightness and enhance graphics.

“Planar Fissure” Event Optimization

Now, get a ton of bright and shiny ornaments in one go as in the upcoming Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 the developers have optimized the Planar Fissure Event. Majorly, the double drop chances are given more focus here as previously it was updated daily on a regular schedule, but now players don’t have to wait for each day to take advantage of double rewards through these new enhancements.

There will be 12 double-drop chances in total across “The Planar Fissure Event” in Version 1.2. With this, players have multiple chances to get double the rewards which were earlier limited by daily basic resets.

Introducing “Message and Chat Box” Feature

Time to flex the new Chat Box! Now, players will have interesting message and chat box customization abilities in the much anticipated Version 1.2 update of Honkai: Star Rail. Players will have multiple appearance options by which they can customize the in-game chatbox. The appearance of speech bubbles in chats and messages will switch to the selected design while doing customizations to it.

Players will get a special reward by updating to the new version. Players will gain exclusive “Where’s the rabbit?” chat box message by completing the Underground Treasure Hunt Event. Players can present their message through incredible artwork through this limited-edition chat box.

New “Joint Forces” Stages

In the all new “Joint Forces” stages, players get the chance to get hands-on with all the regular characters i.e., Himeko (Erudition: Fire), Welt (Nihility: Imaginary), Bronya (Harmony: Wind), Gepard (Preservation: Ice), Clara (Destruction: Physical), Yanging (The Hunt: Ice), and Bailu (Abundance: Lightning). They are free to try out their different abilities without actually buying them.

Trailblazers will receive an additional bonus of 20 Stellar Jades, Adventure Logs, and Universal

Enhancement Materials for the completion of every character in the Joint Forces Stages.

Battle Information Display Optimization

In the Version 1.2 update, Trailblazer will get enhanced visibility of clear conditions and additional combat objectives within stages. Earlier, this was done by going to settings or by pausing the game to look at particular requirements for additional objectives or to clear a stage.

Now, with the help of a new update, all the essential details can be displayed instantly during a battle, without any hurdles in gameplay as before. This feature will help in maintaining track of game progression and in the making of strategy.

Warring Expedition UI Optimization

Players will see a significant improvement in the user interface (UI) in Excursion mode after the upcoming update in Honkai: Star Rail. In Excursion mode, the interface got updated with simple and clear details on combat objectives when players pressed the ESC key or the exit button present in the top left-hand corner, helping players to swiftly check their targets without disturbing the current tide of battle.

This will allow players to change settings right from the details page without the need to stop the battle in between to make the proposed changes.

The upcoming update for Honkai: Star Rail brings several enhancements to improve overall gameplay such as Eye Comfort Mode, customizable message and chat boxes, clearer visibility of objectives, and improved Excursion mode interface.
