Idle Heroes is already in the middle of their 7th anniversary! The hype does not seem to die at all, as DH Games are striding to release a slew of new heroes and events to keep the players entertained and engaged. Idle Heroes is available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. The new update and its contents can already be seen live in-game as the patch was concluded on 8th July 2023.

Doppleganger Natalia – New Hero

Doppleganger Natalia is a new Transcendence elemental 5-Star hero that is classified as an Assassin in-game. Her description reads as follows – “Doppelganger – Natalia, Natalie’s second personality, appeared in Natalie’s mirror. So about the Transcendence version, the mirror is placed on the ground, and the dark image floats out of the mirror. Although the characters are separate, each of them only has one wing. Needing to come together to form a pair demonstrates both the independence of their personalities and their connectedness as one.”

Players will be able to summon her using their Heroic Summoning scrolls! If players manage to summon a 5-Star hero, Doppleganger Natalia will have a higher chance of being summoned. The event will be live in another update in the coming week. Take a look at the active and passive abilities of the new hero Doppleganger Natalia:

Dance of Shadowland (Active Skill)

Deals Attack damage to random enemies. Deals extra Attack damage for every certain number Attribute Reduction effect the target has. Afterward, deals damage equal to certain percentage of the total damage to enemies with [Undying Shadow] and grants [Guiding Glow] to self and allies with [Bright Blessing] for several rounds. There is a chance to replicate random Attribute Reduction effects from self to enemies with [Undying Shadow]. The remaining duration and certain percentage of debuff effects will be reserved.

[Guiding Glow]: Skill effect. Increases Attack, Holy Damage, Damage Reduction and Crit Damage. [Undying Shadow]: Skill effect. Can trigger special effects through Doppelganger – Natalia’s active or passive skills. When an enemy with [Undying Shadow] is killed, enemy with the highest Attack will be inflicted with [Undying Shadow].

[Bright Blessing]: Skill effect. Can trigger special effects through Doppelganger – Natalia’s active or passive skills. When an ally with [Bright Blessing] is killed, ally with the highest Attack will be granted [Bright Blessing].

Ode of Holylight (Passive Skill)

Changes the basic attack to: Deals Attack damage to front-line enemies. Deals extra Attack damage for every certain number Attribute Reduction effect the target has and grants self and allies with [Bright Blessing] a Shield equal to certian percentage of the damage dealt. There is a chance to replicate random attribute buffs from self to allies with [Bright Blessing]. The remaining duration and certain percentage of attribute buff effects will be reserved.

Excellent Twins (Passive Skill)

At the beginning of each round or when self is in the battle as a substitute, inflicts [Undying Shadow] and [Bright Blessing] to enemy with the highest Attack and ally with the highest Attack respectively till the battle ends. Gains [Fluorescent Shield] when self HP or the HP of the ally with [Bright Blessing] is below certain percentage for the first time.

[Fluorescent Shield]: Skill effect. Restores self HP equal to certain percentage of Max. HP and gains a Shield, increasing self Holy Damage for several rounds.

Double Origin (Passive Skill)

When self or an ally with [Bright Blessing] is under a basic attack or takes damage from an active skill, deals Attack damage to the attacker and reduces the attacker’s Crit for several rounds.

When self or an ally with [Bright Blessing] launches basic attacks or releases the active skill on a target with [Un- dying Shadow], there is a chance to replicate random At- tribute Reduction effects from the target to front-line en- emies. The remaining duration and certain percentage of debuff effects will be reserved.

Core of Origin Skill (Ultimate Ability)

When the battle starts and when a round ends, there is a chance to inflict random effect from the followings on all enemies. Meanwhile, enemy with the highest Speed will be inflicted with extra effect: (Reduces Control Immunity /Speed/Energy for several rounds).

Also, there is a chance to grant random effect from the followings to all allies. Meanwhile, ally with the highest Speed will be granted extra effect: (Increases Holy Damage/Control Immunity Offset/Crit Damage for several rounds.)

Mysterious Chest Event

The Mysterious Chest event is a new type of event where players can purchase different chests using their collected Gems in order to get the designated rewards out of them. Each chest can only be purchased 1 time per account. This event is a direct upgrade from the previous iteration of the event where the items were listed at random. Keep in mind that the price of the chests increases as the quality of the chest increases.

Moonlight Gift Event

The Moonlight Gift event might as be called a pay-to-win event, simply due to the fact that it requires players to collect VIP EXP during the event time period in order to get rewarded. The more VIP EXP you get, the better-quality rewards await you. Sadly, VIP EXP is only available through limited ways as a F2P player and requires spending money in order to get more.

Wishing Fountain Event

The Wishing Fountain event is one of the more premiere events in this update. The rules are simple, and you might very well know them already as this event repeats a lot of times. You will get 1 point for every time you wish in the Wishing Fountain (excluding wishes made in Super Wishing Fountain). Once you reach the specific set of points, you will be rewarded with juicy rewards.

Dim Sum Restaurant Event

The Dim Sum Restaurant event is the highlight of this update. Collect more Dim Sum points from the rest of the events to get points towards this event. It contains 2 different types of rewards – Basic Rewards and Premium Rewards. This event quite gated as players will require the special currency called “Dim Sum Privilege” unlocked in order to get all the premium rewards. This privilege can be obtained by reaching 2500 VIP EXP in the Moonlight Gift event. Reach designated point milestones for the offered rewards.
