Idle Heroes is the leading Idle RPG by DHGames that is available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. One of the biggest updates for April 2023 is finally coming to the game, after the patch notes were posted just a day ago.The new update and its contents be seen live in-game when the patch goes live on 21st April 2023. Let’s take a look at all the new content brought to the game via the update.

Geester Released

Geester has finally been released in-game with the latest update. We already covered him in the previous update where DHGames showcased him in a teaser. Geester is a 5-Star Assassin type hero from the Forest faction. Here’s an in-depth look at the different abilities of Geester:

Fatal Spore (Active Skill)

Deals Attack damage to enemy with the lowest HP several times. Afterward, deals [Virulent Toxin] damage to all enemies with [Dynamic Hypha] and there is a chance to [Twine] them for several rounds.

Dynamic Hypha: Skill effect. Used to enhance Geester’s skills. Not stackable.

Virulent Toxin: Skill effect. Detonates all layers of targets’ [Poison] and [Burn], dealing the total remaining DOT damage. All layers of [Poison] and [Burn] will be cleared after the detonation (detonation damage have cap).

Twine: Control effect. Twined heroes are unable to release their active skills, basic attacks, extra attacks, or counterattacks.

Venom Extraction (Passive Skill)

Increases the HP, Attack, Crit Damage, and Speed. Increases the damage dealt to Poisoned targets.

Gallant Move (Passive Skill)

Changes the basic attack to: Deals Attack damage to enemy with the highest Speed. Reduces the target’s Energy and increases self Crit for several rounds. If the target has [Dynamic Hypha], additionally [Poisons] the target, dealing Attack damage for several rounds.

Fungi Protection (Passive Skill)

When taking Crit Damage, [Poisons] the attacker, dealing Attack damage for several rounds and inflicts [Dynamic Hypha] on the attacker for several rounds. Afterward, increases self Energy. When landing a Crit with the basic attack or active skill, inflicts [Dynamic Hypha] on the target for several rounds, [Poisons] the target, dealing Attack damage for several rounds.

Daily Gift Event 

A regular Daily Gift event has been the speciality of DHGames and this update is not going to change it. You must know the drill by now. Simply, go to the Shop and claim your daily free gift. As usual, each player can collect the gift 1 time per day and the rewards are sent to your in-game mailbox. Here are the rewards received on each day:

DAY 1: Heroic Summon Scrolls x 3 + Gems x 150

DAY 2: Heroic Summon Scrolls x 3 + Gems x 150

DAY 3: Heroic Summon Scrolls x 3 + Gems x 150

DAY 4: Heroic Summon Scrolls x 3 + Gems x 150

5-Star Hero Double Odds Event

This is going to be your standard double the odds event that comes around with every hero release. Players get 1 point per Heroic summoning scroll used. The higher the points, the more probability increases for summoning Geester and more rewards you earn along the way. Here are the rules being applied to the event:

• For every 100 failed attempts at summoning Geester at Heroic Summoning raises the odds of obtaining Geester.
• The previous 499 failed attempts at summoning Geester at Heroic Summon ensure you the success in the 500th attempt.
• The progress will be zeroed once Geester is summoned before or after the 500th summon.
• The entire process can be repeated up to a maximum of 4 rounds. 

Here is the systematic probability increase:

• For 1-100 Heroic Summons – Base Probability
• For 101-200 Heroic Summons – Base Probability x 2
• For 201-300 Heroic Summons – Base Probability x 3
• For 301-400 Heroic Summons – Base Probability x 4
• For 401-499 Heroic Summons – Base Probability x 5
• 500th Heroic Summon – Guaranteed Geester

Summon Prizes Event

One of the most re-run combo of events are the Summon Prizes and Double Odds pair of events. While the former allows you to get the hero you desire, the latter provides you with rewards along the way as you summon more Heroic scrolls. Players will get the rewards from their in-game mailbox when completing the event.

The milestones and the rewards for them are as follows –

• Obtain 50 points – Prophet Orb x 3 + Heroic Summon Scroll x 10 
• Obtain 100 points – Prophet Orb x 3 + Heroic Summon Scroll x 10 
• Obtain 200 points – Prophet Orb x 4 + Heroic Summon Scroll x 10 + 5-Star Kroos Fragments x 50 
• Obtain 300 points – Prophet Orb x 5 + Soul Symbol x 5 + Core of Transcendence x 1 
• Obtain 400 points – 5-Star Geester Fragments x 50 
• Obtain 500 points – Glorious Relic x 15 + Core of Transcendence x 1 

Palace of Crystal and Palace of Eternity Set of Events

Palace of Crystal and Palace of Eternity are two of the most widely run events ever in Idle Heroes. Both of these events can be found live almost every 2nd update due to their nature. They use an event currency called “Eternal Crystal” that is obtained when players do 400 Heroic Summons every time. Eternal Crystals is an extremely rare currency that allows the user to exchange any available 5-Star hero in the game. Here are the important points to keep in mind while doing the events:

• At the Palace of Eternity, you can use Eternal Crystals to replace specific heroes for the new hero.
• Replace 1 Host hero (5-Star) at the Palace of Eternity consumes 10 Eternal Crystal. For every 9 Host Heroes (5-Star) are replaced, the cost of Eternal Crystal for each Host Hero increases by 5.
• The result hero from replacement will be of the same star level with the hero to be replaced, which means, you put in a 10-Star hero, you’ll get a 10-Star one.
• Replaceable Heroes in each event will be different. In principle, they are the 5 latest released heroes.
• Heroes of different star levels have a diverse number of Host Heroes.
• New heroes replaced from Palace of Eternity will not get you summon rewards of Hero Lottery. Multiple heroes replaceable from Palace of Eternity share the demand of Eternal Crystals.

Flash Exchange Event

For a limited-time after the update, players can get 2 new heroes in exchange for their collected Soul Shards in the Soul Shard Shop. The price of the heroes is – Azreal for 5500 Soul Shards, and Holmes Young for 5500 Soul Shards. Keep in mind that both of these heroes are only purchasable 1 time. 

Fighters Competition

Fighters Competition is a brand-new PvE based event that allows players to collect 2 different types of event currencies – Fighter Points and Champion Points. The rewards will be sent to your in-game mailbox. 

Here are the different ways to obtain both types of points:

Fighter Points:

• Obtain 3 points if you WIN a battle at Crystal Crown League, and 1 point if you LOSE.
• Obtain 5 points if you WIN a battle at Inter-Dimensional Arena, and 2 points if you LOSE.
• Obtain 3 points if you WIN a battle at Star Arena, and 1 point if you LOSE.

Champion Points:

• Obtain 3 points if you WIN a battle at Trial of The Champion, and 1 point if you LOSE.

The milestones and the rewards for them are as follows –

• Obtain 30 Fighter points – Gems x 200 + Super Wishing Coin x 2
• Obtain 60 Fighter points – Gems x 300 + Super Wishing Coin x 3
• Obtain 10 Fighter points – Gems x 500 + Super Wishing Coin x 2
• Obtain 150 Fighter points – Gems x 500 + Super Wishing Coin x 2
• Obtain 30 Champion points – Gems x 200 + Prophet Orb x 2
• Obtain 60 Champion points – Gems x 500 + Prophet Orb x 3
• Obtain 100 Champion points – Gems x 500 + Universal Skin Shards x 10
• Obtain 150 Champion points – Gems x 700 + Elite 5-Star Hero Shards x 50

Luck Relay Bundles Event

One of the best events for paid players who are not shy of spending. Keep in mind that to start the offer chain, the 1st bundle is a paid one.
