New Content coming with Season 4 Halloween Themed Update

KartRider: Drift’s Season 4 is finally here! Termed aptly as “Hallo-Drift”, it’s a combination of Halloween and KartRider: Drift! Get ready to be spooked in eerie-maps, phantoms hiding in shadows, and of course, some new racers & karts! Inspired by silent graveyards and Halloween, 4 new tracks are revealed:

  • Specter Pass
  • Dark Castle
  • Wayward Turnabout
  • Cemetery Circuit

Post update, the coveted World Kart Championship: Shanghai Circuit will also be available for all players to travel through and race on! New racers Draky and Spirit Kid will also be joining the ever-growing roster of characters for KartRider: Drift’s season 4 update! Both the new racers will be available via the new Season Pass.

QOL Improvements and New Game Mode

A brand-new game mode called “Crossover” is going to be available for all players post update. It is a cross hybrid between normal race mode and item mode, allowing players to collect & use powerful weapons from Item Boxes that will randomly spawn all over the track. Drifting will be an equally important task, as that will increase your Boost Gauge, much like the Speed game mode.

A host of QOL (Quality-of-life) improvements are also scheduled to be implemented for a smoother gaming experience. Check them out:

  • The Racing Pass notice in the main lobby has been improved, showing the progress to the next level as well as the upcoming reward, along with an animation for when a level is obtained.
  • When entering the Racing Pass menu for the first time in a season, the season’s video will now be shown.
  • When a Racing Pass reward has been unlocked, a pop-up notice will now appear.
  • AI can now be added to teams with human Racers.
  • AI setting is now maintained when the Game Mode is changed.
  • Replay Reset criteria has been added, to inform Racers that replays will reset with every season.
  • Additional details, such as Save Quantity per Mode and Save Criteria, have been added.
