Lord of Heroes – New Heroes Light Alev, Dark Solphi, and Avillon Foundation Day Login Event
Lord of Heroes, the free-to-play turn-based RPG by CloverGames is on a roll this month by releasing its 2nd official large patch in the same month. Players can expect more new heroes, more new features, and events which makes the community more engaged and actively playing. The biggest event for the return of Earth Mikhail is also going to start after the maintenance ends on February 22nd, 2022.
This update is bringing with it 2 new heroes – Light Alev and Dark Solphi. Out of the 2 new heroes being added, Dark Solphi can be obtained free-to-play by spending 1 million Renown in Chronicles but the condition is that Floor 50 of the Obelisk needs to be cleared. Light Alev is a paid package hero which can be obtained only by purchasing his hero package using real money via transaction. Apart from the new heroes, tons of new events are again taking place in Avillon with great rewards. The update can be seen live in-game after the server maintenance ends on 22nd February 2022. There’s a lot to be covered in this 2nd monthly update, so let’s get right to it.
New Hero Light Alev
Lord of Heroes finally unveiled the newest hero coming to the game – Light Alev. They also revealed Light Alev’s hero skills and her introduction. She was recently featured in the monthly Avillon Times which the developers release to create hype for their upcoming heroes and updates. Light Alev is the Light element counterpart of the hero Alev. Her description reads “Even before beginning her life as a mercenary, Alev was widely known among mercenaries of the East as the “Golden-Eyed Hyena”. It’s not every day, after all, that you would see a scrawny orphan with a blank look on her face scour battlefields to collect what she could from the dead. She learned in her youth to keep away from the many malicious people who tried to approach her. Those she let around her were in awe when she eventually became a respectable mercenary. Even more surprised were they when she told them her dream of moving to Dakkeon.”
Light Alev is a 4-Star Sniper-type hero which specializes in multiple areas but particularly in attack gauge manipulation and buff removal. She also introduces a new mechanic called Blitz in the game which states that the hero can use any of her skills when using Blitz regardless of whether the skill is on cooldown or not. This is essentially like a free ability usage and Light Alev has this mechanic on her 1st ability Reverse Slash which is a single targeted damaging skill that states he has a 40% chance to trigger Blitz on the target for 1 turn. Keep in mind that Blitz can only be triggered once per turn and not consecutively. Her 2nd skill Ignis Buster is an AOE targeted damaging skill that targets all enemies, has a 70% chance to remove all buffs on enemies, and fills all allies’ action gauge by 20%. This is an insanely loaded skill that not only acts as a strip but also as a great opener for PvP. The cooldown is 4 turns but we are pretty sure it can be skilled down to 3 turns like heroes’ 2nd abilities. Paired with Light Alev’s blitz mechanic, this ability can be a nuisance to deal with while providing massive attack gauge manipulation and buff strips. Her Spirit Skill Deathscythe costs 4 Spirit Cost and is an AOE damaging skill that targets all enemies and also increases the attack gauge of all allies by 25%. This is another crazy good attack gauge boosting skill that will provide great usefulness in many areas of the game.
Take a look at Light Alev’s skills in detail-
Reverse Slash: Attacks the selected enemy. 40% chance to trigger blitz for 1 time(s). When a blitz is triggered, the character immediately uses their skill, regardless of its cooldown status. More than one blitz cannot be triggered in a row.
Ignis Buster: Attacks the selected enemy. 70% chance to remove all buffs applied to the enemy. Fills all allies’ action gauges by 20%.
Deathscythe (Burst Skill): Attacks all enemies. Fills all allies’ action gauges by 25%.
Steadfastness (Passive): Increases speed by 3.
Golden-Eyed Lioness (Passive): Decreases damage from dark-elemental enemies by 5%.
Light Alev can be recruited by purchasing her hero package by paying real-life money. Players can build her with Speed, Attack, Critical Hit Rate, and Critical Hit Damage.
New Hero Dark Solphi
Lord of Heroes’ new update introduced 2 new heroes as we mentioned before. The 2nd hero that was revealed is Dark Solphi. She was confirmed to be a free-to-play hero which can be obtained without paying money. Dark Solphi is the hero everyone can acquire through paying 1 Million Renown in the Chronicles, granted that they have completed Floor 50 of the Obelisk.
Dark Solphi is the dark element counterpart of the hero Solphi. Her description reads “An arcanist who never allows failure to stop her in her pursuit of the truth, Solphi is a creation who longs to be a creator—a yearning that, at its core, may just be fueled by doubts about her origins and her clear inability to sympathize with others. Luckily for her, the winds of change are never still for very long; they may be stirred up by an unexpected genetic relative, or someone willing to stretch out a willing hand. Yearnings cannot be done away with easily, but they can be redirected. Discovering and refining a new theory, for example, could serve such a purpose, as could producing an extraordinary new invention.”
Dark Solphi is a 4-Star Guardian-type hero which specializes in boosting the action gauge of allies, dealing damage that ignores defense, and doing damage that scales with her speed. Dark Solphi’s skills do more damage the higher Speed she has. This is great because her base Speed is 105 which is quite decent for a Guardian-type unit. Her 1st skill Magnetic Shock is a single targeted damaging skill that deals more damage the more speed she has while ignoring defense. She will also boost all allies’ attack gauge by 10% if this skill lands as a critical hit. Her 2nd skill Particle Collision is an AOE damaging skill that targets all enemies, deals increased damage according to her Speed as well as grants herself 2 buffs – Attack Increased and Counterattack for 2 turns. This is a great skill for many PvE and PvP areas. Her Burst Skill Plasma Rain is also an AOE damaging skill that targets all enemies, ignores defense of all enemies, deals increased damage according to her Speed as well as has a 30% chance to inflict Confusion debuff to enemies for 1 turn. This skill costs 3 Spirits to use, hence, it is much faster to generate this regularly, especially in a burst formation.
Take a look at Dark Solphi’s skills in detail-
Magnetic Shock: Attacks the selected enemy. Ignores defense. Damage increases according to the user’s speed. Fills allies’ action gauges by 10% if the attack is a critical hit.
Particle Collision: Attacks all enemies. Damage increases according to the user’s speed. Increases the user’s attack power and grants them a “Revenge” counterattack buff for 2 turn(s).
Plasma Rain (Burst Skill): Attacks all enemies. Ignores defense. Damage increases according to the user’s speed. 30% chance to inflict the user with a confusion debuff for 1 turn(s). Confused characters may attack/heal either friends or foes.
Arcane Innoventor (Passive): Increases speed by 3.
Forward Thinker (Passive): Decreases damage from light-elemental enemies by 5%.
