More Campaign Adjustments, QOL Improvements, and more in The Lord of the Rings: War April 2023 Update
The Lord of the Rings: War , the free-to-play city builder RPG by Netease Games continues to grow with ease and release consistent fruitful updates. In the new patch, players can expect to see some core changes to the functioning of the campaign mode along with some handy QOL updates pertaining to the new player experience. The update has already been implemented in the live version of the game already on 29th March, 2023. The Lord of the Rings: War can be downloaded as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
Campaign Adjustments
A few notable adjustments being made to the campaign mode – War of the Ring are as follows:
- [Rangers’ Rise] Wandering Camps’s period of validity and the interval between refreshes will be reduced. However, Advanced Camps will appear earlier
- [Rangers’ Rise] Max number of Forward Camps: 10
- [Rangers’ Rise] Added “Territory Limit+” to Chapter Rewards for Lords, which would only take effect when being claimed by Lords
- [Rangers’ Rise] Lords can occupy other Ruins to relocate
- [Tactics Evolved] Now you can refresh Elite Training Tasks that you have already accepted
Optimizations and Fixed Issues
- Adjusted the region selection priority when Tacticians are uprooted and respawn when there are available allied regions.
- Optimized the Pin Management Interface.
- Optimized the Red Book of Westmarch Interface.
- Fixed an issue causing the special effect (Dragon Energy) of [Carved Dragon Tooth] to not trigger when using against large units.
- Fixed an issue that the Title (Second Wind) of the Undying caused other unrecoverable effects to not trigger.
