MARVEL SNAP has been garnering attention from the mobile gaming crowd since its release in October, drawing in fans of CCGs and slowly but surely carving its own spot in this rather niche genre of games. And in this regard, Snap has definitely been causing waves, both due to its awesome and fast-paced matches, as well as its staggering variety of cards, which lends itself to be a game revolving around experimenting and tinkering with new builds in order to try and find synergies to create awesome meta decks.

However, when it comes to games like these, they are essentially only as good as their card variety, as well as the frequency in which the developers keep pumping out new cards. Case in point, the latest season in MARVEL SNAP is bringing us new cards centered around Black Panther, as the Wakandan Warriors are featured front and center, and even King T’challa himself is arriving as a new unlockable card.

New Card Arrival: Black Panther

T’challa is launching with this new season as a 4-power, 5-energy card with an interesting on-reveal effect that doubles his own power when the card is revealed during play. This effect makes him mesh well with existing cards like Shuri and Okoye, who are also Wakandan-themed. Specifically, Shuri has an on-reveal effect that doubles the power of the next card you reveal directly afterward, which synergizes brilliantly with Black Panther. On the other hand, Okoye gives +1 power to all the cards on your deck when she’s revealed on the field, further powering up the Wakandan King.

Four New Wakandan-Themed Locations

In keeping up with the current theme, the new MARVEL SNAP season is bringing four new Wakandan locations:

• Shuri’s Lab: Doubles the power values of the cards played in this location.

• Warrior Falls: At the end of every turn, destroy the card(s) with the lowest power values.

• Vibranium Mines: When a card is played here, 3 Vibranium are shuffled into the players’ decks.

• Wakandan Throne Room: The card(s) with the highest power in this location have their power values doubled.

New Events, Missions, and Season Pass Challenges and Rewards

As is usual with new events and seasons in these types of games, the Warriors of Wakanda season in Snap is arriving alongside new themed missions, as well as a brand new Season Pass rife with tons of rewards and challenges for those who want to get the most out of their game. Moreover, while the team still hasn’t made an official announcement or reveal, this season will also feature its own events, which will most likely be Wakanda-themed in one way or another.
