Mobile Legends Patch 1.6.54 Advanced Server Update: Buffs & Nerfs
Mobile Legends recently announced the 1.6.54 Advanced Server highlights patch; the new update is focused on balancing the recently introduced heroes like Xavier & Melissa as well as characters like Beatrix, Diggie, Karrie & Gloo.
Now, this 1.6.54 update is for the Mobile Legends Advanced Server; for those who don’t know, here is a brief explanation.
Mobile Legends Advanced Server is a test or trial server for new updates and content. After testing, the new updates are carried over to the original server. As this server is set apart from the original server, items, skins, and hero stats will differ. Player items, equipment, or belongings can not be transferred from other servers.
Players must be at least level 15 with a stable internet connection to be eligible for the Advanced Server. As this is a test server, there are some limitations, like players can only take part in stable versions of Ranked, Classic, Brawl, or any other matches that involve other players with a stable connection in Southeast Asia.

Melissa- Cursed Needle

- Doll Buster-
- Melissa deals 150% damage to Summoned Units.
- Falling-
- Melissa dashes forward and gains extra Attack Speed for 4s.
- If Muddles is bound with an enemy hero, it’ll drag the enemy along with it for a certain distance.
- If Cuddles has summoned forth its field, it can move the fiels to Melissa’s destination.
- Cooldown- 8.5 >8.2 >7.9 > 7.6 > 7.3 > 7.0
- Mana Cost- 45 > 50 > 55 > 60 > 65 > 70
- Attack Speed Bonus- 50% > 60% > 70% > 80% > 90% > 100%
- Go! Muddles! –
- Melissa throws out Muddies to damage enemies along the way and binds it with the first enemy hero hit for up to 6s. Melissa’s Basic Attack will also hit Muddles for the duration, dealing extra damage to the bound enemy. The bond will break early if the enemy moves out of the range.
- Cooldown- 11.0 > 10.5 > 10.0 > 9.5 > 9.0 > 8.5
- Mana Cost- 80 > 85 > 90 > 95 > 100 > 105
- Base Damage- 250 > 280 > 310 > 340 > 370 > 400
- Cuddles, Protect Me!-
- Melissa orders Cuddles to release the Field of Protection, damaging and pushing away nearby enemies while blocking them from entering the field for 5s. The Field of Protection will disappear early if Melissa moves too far away.
- Cooldown- 40.0 > 36.0 > 32.0
- Mana Cost- 120 > 150 > 180
- Base Damage- 500 > 700 > 900
Xavier, Defier of Light
Each time Xavier hits an enemy with his skills, he gains a stack of Energy Surge (up to 3 stacks) that enhances his subsequent skills. Casting a skill at the max stacks allows him to enter the Transcendence state, during which all his skills are enhanced to the maximum. Xavier can extend the state’s duration by hitting enemies with his skills.
Domain: Xavier is always protected by a 3-unit radius Mystic Domain and will continuously apply Paradox stacks to approaching enemies in the domain, each stack reducing their Movement Speed by 33%. Enemies with 3 stacks will be immobilized.
- Transcendence –
- Each time Xavier hits an enemy with his skills, he gains a stack of Energy Surge (up to 3 stacks) that enhances his subsequent skills.
- Infinite Extension –
- Xavier fires a Mystic Bullet that deals Magic Damage to enemies in its path. The Bullet’s flying distance will increase each time it hits an enemy or the Mystic Barrier.
- Cooldown- 6.0
- Mana Cost- 50 > 55 > 60 > 65 > 70 > 75
- Base Damage- 300 > 350 > 400 > 450 > 500 > 550
- Mystic Field –
- Xavier conjures a Mystic Barrier that slows enemies and speeds up allies it comes into contact with. The Barrier will expand into a forbidden field when hit by the Mystic Bullet, immobilizing enemies while speeding up allies in the area.
- Cooldown- 12.0 > 11.6 > 11.2 > 10.8 > 10.4 > 10.0
- Mana Cost- 80 > 90 > 100 > 110 > 120 > 130
- Base Damage- 120 > 140 > 160 > 180 > 200 > 220
- Dawning Light –
- Xavier fires a global Mystic Bolt that deals damage to enemies in its path simultaneously and enters the Transcendence state.
- Cooldown- 40.0 > 35.0 > 30.0
- Mana Cost- 150 > 200 > 250
- Base Damage- 600 > 780 > 960
Hero Changes & Adjustments
Now the stats mentioned above are the baseline; below, you will find the changes to the stats that came in the 1.6.54 Advanced Server update.
In the case of Xavier, the immobilization effect from Xavier’s Passive didn’t work well with his other skills, so the developers are removing the effect while optimizing his other powers.
- Passive Skill – Nerf
- No longer slows and immobilizes nearby enemies.
- Fixed & optimized how the skill cooldowns are calculated at the end of the Transcendence state.
- Infinite Extension Skill- Buff
- Mystic Bullet’s flying speed increased.
- Channeling time slightly increased.
- Mystic Field Skill- Buff
- New Effect: The expansion also deals damage (twice the amount of the initial damage)
- Adjusted the base width increased, width in the Transcendence state reduced.
- Channeling time slightly increased.
- Dawning Light Ultimate Skill- Buff
- Cooldown Reduction in Transcendence State: 4s >> 8s
For Melissa, the developers are focused on fine-tuning the previous adjustments.
- Attribute- Buff
- Base Physical Attack: 103 >> 115
- Base Defense: 16 >> 18
- Falling! Skill- Adjusted
- Cooldown: 8-6.5s >> 7.5s
- Fixed an issue where Attack Speed increased was different than stated.
- Dash Speed slightly increased.
- Go! Muddles! Skill- Buff
- New Effect: When Muddles is bound to an enemy, the button below the Basic Attack button will charge, dealing half the damage to the bound enemy.
- (This is an advanced feature that is only recommended when there are no other enemies within Melissa’s basic attack range)
- Cuddles, Protect Me! Ultimate Skill- Nerf
- Continous Damage: 100-180 + 20% Magic Power >> 50-90 + 10% Magic Power
- Optimized the recommended builds and emblems to give Melissa higher Physical Lifesteal for early-game fights.

Other Hero Changes & Adjustments
- Beatrix– In this patch, the developers are slightly lowering Remmer’s damage in the late game.
- Basic Attack- Nerf
- Mechanical Genius (Renner).png Renner: 360%-570% Physical Attack (+15% Per Level) >> 360%-535% Physical Attack (+12.5% Per Level)
- The following adjustments have already been applied in the previous version:
- Renner: 125 + 500% At All Levels >> 360%-570% Physical Attack (+15% Per Level)
- Bennett: 70 + 280% At All Levels >> 180%-320% Physical Attack (+10% Per Level)
- Wesker: 75 + 150% Physical Attack At All Levels >> 125-195% Physical Attack (+5% Per Level)
- Nibiru: 65% Physical Attack At All Levels >> 50%-67.5% Physical Attack (+1.25% Per Level)
- Diggie’s durability and early game damage have been increased while lowering his stack loss upon death.
- Attributes- Buff
- Base HP: 2351 >> 2468
- Base Physical Defense: 16 >> 20
- Auto Alarm Bomb Skill- Adjusted
- Base Damage: 400-600 >> 500-600
- Passive Stacks: 100 >> 60
- Time Journey Ultimate Skill- Buff
- Shield: 400-700 >> 600-900
- Karrie, the developers are improving Karrie’s strength in the early planning phase.”
- Spinning Light-Wheel Skill- Buff
- Base Damage: 250-375 >> 300-375
- Base Damage Bonus: 90% Extra Physical Attack >> Total Physical Attack
- Continuous Damage Bonus: 20% Extra Physical Attack >> 20% Total Physical Attack
- Gloo’s strength has been further decreased.
- Passive- Nerf
- Damage Reduction Per Stack: 10% >> 8%
