Phobies – Halloween Update “Symphony of the Undead” Arrives to Spook Players
Phobies is receiving their biggest update yet, with tons of new additions such as Phobies, tiles, events, and juicy rewards! New tiles to enhance the gameplay are also being added to keep the players entertained and engaged. Titled as “Symphony of the Undead”, the new update is scheduled to arrive shortly to the live version of the game. In lieu of the Halloween festival, Phobies are also planning to re-decorate their game surroundings to reflect the spookiness even more. Phobies is a free-to-play title that is available for both Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
Among the new additions, 9 new Phobies are also coming to spook the players, each with their own set of unique active & passive abilities. Such additions are always welcomed, as they enhance the overall combat experience of players by introducing new mechanics and tactical advancements. One such mechanic is being brought by the new Phobie called “Mummy”, wherein they can spawn undead babies on the map.
New Phobies
Here is a brief list of all the new Phobies being added with the Symphony of the Undead update:

- Increase the leeching rate for all of your undead, Conductor.
- Go for the Power! Jaws, a brand-new Phobie that feeds on friendly units to increase its damage, is a game-changer.
- On ice, Goon is terrifying! This tough enforcer has a vicious slapshot that will rip right through opponents.
- The Tooth Fairy has arrived to collect as the witching hour has begun!
- Is a doctor present at the residence? Keep Badside Manners away from them!
- Snappy can withstand punishment while dealing ranged damage.
- There’s always room for another clown, Giggles.
- With increased poison damage that can reach opponents up to two tiles away, Baaaad Sheep can help keep the undead at bay!
4 new Portraits are also being added in the Vendy’s Shop. Portraits for the new Phobies Jaw and Conductor can be obtained as rewards for a limited-time, between 3rd October – 3rd November.
7 new Maps are also being added, out of which 5 are designed for the Halloween theme and 2 of them are designed by the community at large! Check them out:

Bug Fixes and Gameplay Optimizations
Take a look at all the optimizations and improvements being made with the update:
- Fixed an issue that could allow a player to track the health bar position of an opponent’s invisible Phobie if they used very specific timing.
- Fixed an issue that prevented players from being taken to the Quest screen if a quest was completed during their most recent turn.
- Fixed an issue that allowed traps to continue to trigger if they were placed under mud.
- Fixed an issue that could cause Radihater’s passive attack to trigger if Radihater was killed on the same turn in which it would occur.
- Fixed an issue that caused Edgar Allen’s buff to cancel out Ogre’s buff. While buff effects typically do not stack, this was an unintended consequence of that “rule”.
- Fixed some visual noise from Tooth Fairy’s wings that was visible if Tooth Fairy was frozen.
- Fixed an issue that could cause a crash if a Phobie was killed by lava while on fire; the fire status effect would still attempt to apply damage to a dead Phobie.
Players can read the official patch notes to get a more in-depth look at the new content. Enhance your Phobies gameplay experience by playing it on a bigger screen of your PC with BlueStacks using a keyboard and mouse.
