If you have ever wanted to slap your friend, at least virtually, then now is your chance! Rollic Games and Zynga have recently announced that their game Power Slap , a turn-based fighting game, now has a PvP mode as per its recent update.

Power Slap is a video game adaption of the popular fighting organization of the same name. The organization is led by Dana White who is also the CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Power Slap as fight entertainment quickly became popular, and as such spawned a video game adaptation that has made “over 1 billion slaps in over 31 million matches”.

Narrated by Dana White, Power Slap brings you into a peculiar fighting world where you train to build up your Power Slap career. White serves as your mentor as you train, take down opponents, and win championship titles.  You can play multiple game modes like the main career, training, special events, and live challenges.

The new PvP mode will feature two modes: Match-Making PvP and Slap with Friends. In Match-Making PvP, players challenge other players from around the world in a thrilling and adrenaline-filled slap showdown. Winning a match places, you higher in the ranks within your team’s league. Your rank is tracked both locally and internationally. Additionally, climbing up the ranks unlocks famous Power Slap figures like Light Heavyweight Champion Ron Bata (a.k.a Wolverine), former Light Heavyweight Champion Ayjay “Static” Hintz, Super Heavyweight Koa Viernes (a.k.a Da Crazy Hawaiian), and Dana White as coaches. In Slap with Friends, you get a more casual experience by challenging your friend to a slap duel regardless of league. You can either connect with your friends or invite them. 

The update also introduces a heavily expanded customization system. Players now have more options to design their characters with a plethora of eyebrows, eyes, hair, face, shape, body tattoos, and other similar cosmetic options.
