Krafton, the New State Mobile game creator, has released the January 2023 Update. The weapons and weaponry in the game have undergone a vast array of balance modifications with the start of the new year in 2023.

Updates to Weapons

Shooting Motions

Each weapon’s shooting motions have been changed to make the gunplay more dynamic. SMG, AR, and LMG long-range damage has now been reduced. Positioning is more clearly specified. The developers encourage players to utilise each unique weapon by using it in a variety of scenarios with various shooting distances.

Weapon Balance Adjustments

• The M249 (C1 + Extended Mag) now holds 200 rounds. The size of the attachable shield has grown due to the customization of C2. 
• Players can now add an eight-times scope on the MK47 Mutant (C1) gun. The rate of autofire for long barrels has been improved by customising C1. Soon, C2 Customization will be made available. 
• Players can now add an eight-time scope to the M16A4 (C1, C2). With the C1 bump stock and open foregrip slot customised, the Autofire rate is increased.
• SLR (C2): C2 5.56 mm barrel damage for SLR has been customised. Additionally, the muzzle velocity has been increased. 
• There have been changes to the Tommy Gun (C1), Micro UZI (C1), S1897 (C2), L85A3, DSR1, Kar98k, VSS, M110A1, and Skorpion to provide balance to each of the weapons.

Vehicle Balance Adjustments

There have been changes to VCabs, UAZ, Bryan, Electron, Dacia, Voltage, Motorbikes, Motorbikes sidecars, Vulture, Lightning, Boat, Aqua Rail, and Wave Rider to provide balance with regards to these vehicles in the game.

Battle Royale Season 7

• The tiers will be reset based on the previous season’s tier.
• Players should strive to reach the top tier to receive the most prizes.
• The balance of tier points will continue from this season.
• Kill points now have a higher value. Those who die in the game’s opening stages will lose fewer points.
• More benefits for players that play aggressively have been improved by the developers.
• Less time must pass for maximum survival points to accrue, and ranking points have less impact.
• Lastly, earning Tier Points in a Battle Royale round is more effective.
