Slime: Isekai Memories, the popular turn-based RPG just launched globally for all regions and countries in 2021. Players can experience the whole anime by playing the original story of Slime: Isekai Memories by Bandai Namco Entertainment Co. Players can experience a strategic turn-based combat system along with their favorite units from That Time I Resurrected As A Slime Anime/Manga IP. Players can play and re-watch the episodes of the main story of the anime from the main section. This New Year’s, Slime: Isekai Memories is celebrating this grand occasion with their own style by releasing new year campaigns, new free event characters, and new characters which will be up for recruitment through summoning. New Year Event and Units

Slime: Isekai Memories is giving away a bunch of rewards while adding new content for the special occasion of the calendar turning a new year! Players can collect their rewards just by logging in as well as playing the new event by going to the events tab. For the rewards, all players will be getting 100 Magicrystals which is the premium currency of Slime: Isekai Memories that is used for summoning on hero banners and/or for refreshing Stamina in the game. Players can also get multiple rewards just by logging in through their new year reward bonus which is a 14-day login event. The rewards include the following:

• Day 2: Magicrystal x 30
• Day 3: Magicrystal x 30
• Day 4: Magicrystal x 30
• Day 5: Magicrystal x 50
• Day 6: Magicrystal x 30

Apart from the new year login campaign, a new campaign titled “Demon Lord New Year’s Meal Login Bonus Campaign” is also being run alongside the usual login rewards. Players can get tons of rewards just by logging in to the game every day and claiming their rewards from their in-game mailbox. The event runs from 29th December 2021 till January 2022 end. The login event is for 14 days and the rewards are as follows:

Also, a new event where all players will get a free summons every day on the Tempest Recruit Special banner. Players will get a limited-time ticket in the login bonuses to summon on this banner. This event will run from 29th December 2021 till 13th January 2022. Players can get more of these tickets from doing special new year limited-time quests.

New Characters for New Year!

As the title reads, new characters are coming to Slime: Isekai Memories along with this update! The new characters include the new versions of Milim, Rimuru Tempest, and Shuna. Out of the 3 characters, Shuna is a 4-Star Battle character that everyone can get for free just by logging in. Milim and Rimuru can be acquired just by summoning on their banner using recruit tickets or Magicrystals. The characters are available through different banners with the newer characters being featured in a new banner especially for them. The difference between featured banners and general banner is that featured banners have a pity system associated with them.

Here are the skillsets for Battle Character (The Holy Sunrise) Shuna:

Secret Skills: Unleashes an all-target fire magic attack dealing 220% normal damage.

Battle Skill 1: Changes Soul of Skills x 2 into Soul of Divine Protection

Battle Skill 2: Recovers all allies from Poison debuff. Increases own poison evasion rate by 5%.

Here are the skill sets for the new Protection character (The Chancellor of Prosperity) Rimuru Tempest:

Divine Protection: Increases all allies Fire Attacks at the start of the battle by 16%. Increases all allies’ wind attacks at the start of the battle by 8%.

Protection Skill: Decreases all targets fire resistance by 20% (3 turns). Increases Soul of Divine Protection gauge increases by 20% until the end of the battle (maximum of 100%). Increases skill cost limit until the end of the battle by 25 (Maximum of 999).

Character Traits: When 3 vanguards have 50% HP or less, decrease all targets Defense by 3% at the start of the turn.

Here are the skill sets for the new Battle Character (The Enthusiastic Player) Milim Nava:

Secret Skill: Unleashes a single-target fire physical attack that deals 450% normal damage.

Battle Skill 1: Increases all allies’ critical rate by 80% (1 Turn). Chance to seal Critical Resistance Up on all targets:100% (Turns: 1)

Battle Skill 2: Changes Soul of Skills x 1 into Soul of Divine Protection. Increases all Soul of Divine Protection gauges by 5% (Turns: 1).

Character Trait: When you have 50% or lower HP, increase your own Critical Damage by 5% at the start of the turn (available in support formations).

Games like SLIME: ISEKAI Memories which are grindy and require high graphical power can cause battery drainage and lag issues on the smaller batteries of your mobile phone. Understandably, they need to be played for long periods and need constant input at lag-free instants to effectively win the battle.
