Summoners War: Sky Arena – September 2022 Monster Skill Balancing Patch
The newest patch notice dictating the upcoming balance changes to Summoners War: Sky Arena has been posted on the game’s official social media handles. These balance adjustments are one of the most important patch notes that many players look forward to since they decide the fate of their favorite monsters. The monster skill balancing is quite the issue with over 700+ collectible monsters and a rampant PvP competitive scene that is growing among the players of Summoners War: Sky Arena. Such monster balancing patches are important to maintain the overall health of the game in terms of both PvE and PvP aspects.
This is a pre-patch notice and will likely be implemented in the game with the next official update. Let’s see the monsters who are getting nerfed, buffed, or bug fixed.
Monster Skill Balancing
- Light Totemist (Skill – Wise Owl Soul): (Effect changed) Increases the Attack Bar of the ally target, excluding yourself, by 50%
Increases your and the target’s Attack Bar by 50% each X In addition, the skill can also be used on yourself. If so, the skill increases your Attack Bar by 100%.
- Fire Fairy King (Skill – Hellfire): (Effect changed) Weakens the enemy’s Defense for 1 turn if you successfully remove the beneficial effects → Weakens the enemy’s Defense for 1 turn without a condition
- Wind RYU (Skill – Triple Combo): Effect changed) If the enemy has no beneficial effects after the first attack, the second attack is activated. If the first attack lands as a Critical Hit, the second attack is activated.
- Wind Striker (Skill – Triple Crush): (Effect changed) If the enemy has no beneficial effects after the first attack, the second attack is activated → If the first attack lands as a Critical Hit, the second attack is activated.
- Wind Onmyouji (Passive Skill – Comeuppance): Recovers the Attack Bar by 25% to 35% if an enemy uses a skill with cooldown time. (Effect added] Deals additional damage that’s proportional to the enemy’s HP when attacking the suppressed Monster.
- All Element Beast Monk (Skill – Crushing Blow): (Effect changed) Crushing Blow Removes 1 beneficial effect from the enemy if you land a Critical Hit Removes 1 beneficial effect from the enemy with a 75% chance.
- Fire Beast Monk (Skill – Awakened Crushing Blow): (Awakened) → Removes 1 beneficial effect from the enemy with a 75% chance. (Effect added) Silences for 1 turn with a 100% chance.
- Light Unicorn Human Form (Skill – Purifying Light): Recovers HP by 10% -> 15%
- Fire Monkey King (Passive Skill – Gold Headband): Increases the Attack Speed by 5% -> 10% whenever you’re attacked (Stacks up to 10 times).
- Dark Monkey King (Skill – Summon Clouds): Stuns with a 65% -> 75% chance.
- Water/Wind/Light Chimera (Skill – Squall): (Effect changed] The attack will always land as a Critical Hit if the target is under inability effects -> The attack will always land as a Critical Hit if the target’s Attack Speed is slower than yours.
- Water Hell Lady (Skill – Eternal Scar): Blocks enemies from removing harmful effects for 1 turn → 2 turns.
- Fire Hell Lady (Skill – Soul Crusher): Attacks 2 times → 4 times (The total damage increased by approx. 7%).
- Dark Hell Lady (Skill – Shatter Awakened): (Effect changed] Removes 1 beneficial effect with a 30% chance each → Steals 1 beneficial effect with a 30% chance each.
- Fire Demon (Skill – Flames of Hell): Blocks enemies from removing harmful effects for 1 turn 2 turns.
- Fire Dragon Knight (Passive Skill – Noble Blood): MAX damage limit for each hit: The inflicted damage of one attack won’t exceed 30% → 20% of the MAX HP.
- Wind Shadowcaster (Skill – Frantic Chaos): (Effect changed] Grants one of the harmful effects on the enemy that has the beneficial effect removed for 2 turns → Grants one of the harmful effects on all enemies without a condition X Harmful effect: Decrease Defense, Decrease Attack Speed and increase Chance of Landing a Glancing Hit.
- Wind/Light Shadowcaster (Skill – Shadow Tie): Increased damage by 12%. When attacking the enemy tied with shadow with a single-target skill 1: Gives 30% -> 50% of the first hit damage to all enemies.
- Fire Battle Angel (Skill – Jet Attack): (Effect added) Additionally recover your Attack Bar in proportion to the damage dealt to the enemy (Up to 50%).
- Wind Battle Angel (Passive Skill – Evasion): If the enemy’s attack you receive lands as a Glancing Hit, you recover your Attack Bar by 30% – 50%. (Effect added) If the enemy target’s Attack Speed is slower than yours: The damage increases according to the difference between your Attack Speed and the enemy’s Attack Speed (Up to 100%).
- Fire Weapon Master (Passive Skill – Collect Weapons!): (Passive activation effect changed) When an enemy or ally is defeated Collect Weapons: Your Attack Bar increases by 75% 100% (Passive Effect): Your Attack Power increases equal to the dead target’s base Attack Power Your Attack Power increases by half of the dead target’s current Attack Power (Up to 300%).
- Light Joker (Passive Skill – Camouflage): (Effect added) Installs a bomb for 2 turns with a 25% chance when attacking.
- Water ROBO (Passive Skill – Revival Sequence): (Effect added] Grants Invincible on yourself for 1 turn after revival.
- Wind ROBO (Skill – Giant’s Punch): (Effect added) Decreases the enemy’s Attack Bar by 15%.
- Dark ROBO (Skill – Full Burst): Removes 1 beneficial effect from the enemy with a 50% chance.
- Fire/Wind/Dark ROBO (Skill – Blade Crush): Absorbs the Attack Bar of all enemies by 10% -> 15%.
- Dark ROBO (Skill – Energy Bolt Awakened): Damage proportional to Attack Power → Damage proportional to Attack Power and Attack Speed.
- Water Mermaid (Passive Skill – Song of the Sirens): HP recovery amount: In proportion to 10% -> 15% or your HP.
- Wind Mermaid (Skill – Crushed Hopes): (Effect added) Always has an attribute advantage when attacking the enemy. Increases the skill cooldown time by 2 turns -> 1 turn.
- Dark Mermaid (Skill – Serenity): HP recovery amount: 15% -> 20%.
- Fire/Dark Mermaid (Skill – Grant Life): When reviving the ally: Adds 3 turns — 2 turns of cooldown time. Recovers the ally target’s HP and Attack Bar by 30% – 40% each.
