Best Natural 5-Star Monsters to Pick
Let’s take a look at some of the top natural 5-Star monster you can summon from this event. Keep in mind that we will only be covering monsters from the Fire/Water/Wind elemental attributes as Light and Dark elemental monsters are not allowed to be summoned in the event. We will give pros of each monster so that you can choose carefully which monster to pick. Any monster you manage to summon from this list is an instant pick! Let’s start the list with the top contenders:
- Cheongpung (Wind Art Master) – Cheongpung is the awakened form of the natural 5-Star monster Wind Art Master. He is continuously being rated as one of the top picks for PvP-based game modes such as World Arena, Guild Arena, Normal Arena, and more. You know a monster is valued when even the World champion of Summoners War World Cup (SWC 2021) said it’s broken. His utility comes in his ultimate ability Serious Matter, an AOE-targeted Attack Bar reduction skill that hits all enemies 3 times and imposes a cooldown increase on their abilities if their attack bar falls down to 0.
Cheongpung’s 2nd ability Moon Drawn by Clouds is also an AOE-targeted ability that places a decrease defense debuff for 2 turns with a 50% chance. The ability also removes all buffs on enemies, on top of adding a Glancing Hit debuff for 2 turns. A jam-packed skill set like this can only get you higher in the tier list!
- Dominic (Wind Weapon Master) – Dominic is the awakened form of the natural 5-Star monster Wind Weapon Master. Dominic was often called the “must-ban monster” before he was slightly nerfed by Com2US. His power is still quite prevalent in PvP game modes such as World Arena, and Special League. Being a tanky bruiser that can often out-DPS your primary damage dealer always makes up for a good ranking on any tier list.
Dominic has a special passive ability Improvisation that states the following – “Attacks additionally, dealing damage equal to 100% of your Attack Power when attacking an enemy on your turn. This attack increases the damage by 100% if your HP exceeds 50% and recovers HP by the damage dealt if it’s 50% or below.” Couped with the fact that he can systematically destroy any Water and Wind monster in a 1v1 makes him a must pick in his own right. Just make sure to build him with some innate tanky stats such as HP% and Defense%.
- Juno (Fire Oracle) – Juno is the awakened form of the natural 5-Star monster Fire Oracle. She is a classic pick that many veterans of the game might be familiar with. Although her popularity suffered a huge nose dive during 2017-2019, the recent meta changes have led to a second emergence of Juno. She is known for terrorizing any buff based team compositions, as she can simply remove all buffs from enemies. Not just remove them, but convert them into Continuous damage debuffs for 2 turns each per debuff removed. Being able to do something at it’s excellence is going to reward any player who choose to pick them.
- Oliver (Wind Sky Surfer) – Oliver is the awakened form of the natural 5-Star monster Wind Sky Surfer. Sky Surfers in general are quite meta at the moment of writing. However, Oliver shines the most out of them all due to his skill sets being synergized so well. He is a complete menace if he manages to get 2 turns in a row as he can potentially render a chosen enemy monster completely useless by not letting them move. Oliver’s threat potential comes with his 3rd ability Mega Impulse Gun that increases a single enemy’s cooldown by 2 turn along with absorbing their Attack Bar by 100%. Further, all of his abilities get a cooldown reduction of 2 turns if he manages to increase cooldown of the enemy.
Oliver’s 2nd ability Impulse Gun states – “Attacks the enemy, increases the target’s skill cooldown time by 1 turn and absorbs the Attack Bar by 30% with a 75% chance each. In addition, decreases your skill cooldown time by 1 turn if you successfully increased the skill cooldown time.” He also boasts a high base Speed and should be ideally built on Violent runes for the best results.
- Nana (Water Mage) – Nana is the awakened form of the natural 5-Star monster Water Mage. Nana is quite literally a necromancer. She can revive dead allies any number of times, just depends on how many Soul Stones she has. That’s part of her passive ability Soul Harvest which states the following – “Creates a soul stone when the battle begins. In addition, harvests a soul and creates a soul stone when an enemy dies on an ally’s turn. Up to 3 soul stones can be stored up, and consumes 1 saved soul stone to revive the ally with 40% HP when an ally dies.”
Nana’s 2nd ability Mana Storm is also nothing to shy away from. It’s an AOE-targeted damaging ability that can decrease defense of all enemies by 75% chance. Nana is the perfect offensive support that can prove to be useful in many aggro teams.
- Woosa (Water Pioneer) – Woosa is the awakened form of the natural 5-Star monster Water Pioneer. Woosa is one of the best defensive supporter that does everything expected from such a monster – big fat shields, immunity buffs, and healing. Woosa also deals surprisingly high amount of damage with his 2nd ability Mountain’s Power that states – “Attacks the enemy with the might of the mountains to inflict damage by 20% of your MAX HP and recovers the HP of all allies by 15% of your MAX HP”.
Woosa’s 3rd ability Wish of Immortality is an AOE-targeted ally buffing ability that provides 3 turn Immunity and Shield buffs. The Shield strength is directly proportional to his own MAX HP. His basic attack Yin-Yang Attack can also place a Sleep debuff on the targeted enemy with a 20% chance. The best part is that all of his abilities deal damage according to his MAX HP. Hence, just build Woosa with heavy tanky stats coupled with some Speed.
- Praha (Water Oracle) – Praha is the awakened form of the natural 5-Star monster Water Oracle. Praha is quite literally the queen of crowd control, heals, and buff stripping. She does it all. Praha shares the same ability with Juno, called Predicted Future which strips all buffs on all enemies, converting each of the remove buff into a Continuous damage debuff for 2 turns. Praha’s 3rd ability Daydream states the following – “Recovers the HP of all allies by 50% by putting yourself to sleep for 1 turn. In addition, puts all enemies to sleep for 1 turn with a 100% chance.”
- Mo Long (Water Panda Warrior) – Mo Long is the awakened form of the natural 5-Star monster Water Panda Warrior. Mo Long is one of the most wanted monsters for any player who is looking for an HP-based bruiser. His 3rd ability Reckless Assault is a single targeted damaging skill that deals damage equal to 70% of his own MAX HP but in turn loses the same amount of HP. Mo Long’s 2nd ability Dragon’s Dance is an AOE-targeted damaging skill that hits all enemies 3 times, with the 3rd hit removing 1 buff and having a 25% chance to Stun all enemies for 1 turn.
