Summoners War: Sky Arena – New Monsters Indra and Ashura Enter the Ring with the Reloaded Update
Big changes are happening in Summoners War: Sky Arena, the 9 year old turn-based RPG by Com2US. One of the biggest updates, titled “RELOADED” has just dropped to the live version of the game. The Reloaded update is slated to revolutionize farming dungeons, collecting runes, upgrading runes, and much more. A classic Summoners War update can never be complete without adding new monsters, and new monsters are what we are getting! Summoners War: Sky Arena is available as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

The new update can already be seen in-game! The highlights of the Reloaded update are a lot of things, but in this article, we are going to be looking at the 2 new monsters that are added to the game. Let’s get right into the details for the new monsters Indra and Ashura.
Indra – New Natural 5-Star Monsters
Indra is a natural 5-Star monster and will be available to all players for summoning once the Reloaded update goes live. Players will be able to summon Indra through summoning scrolls. As per tradition, Indra is also classified into 5 different elements – Fire, Water, Wind, Light, and Dark.
Here are the different elemental versions of Indra along with their abilities: –
Fire Indra (Vendhan)
- Thunder Shot – Attacks the enemy and decreases its Attack Bar by 30% with a 50% chance. When used during the Thunderer state, you attack additionally with lower damage to enemies of the same attribute as the target.
- Wild Bolt – Attacks all enemies and decreases their Attack Power for 2 turns with a 70% chance. When used during the Thunderer state, leaves a Branding effect for 2 turns with a 40% chance.
- Chain Effect (Passive) – Uses the same skill with reduced damage to attack the enemy once again when you attack the enemy on your turn. While under the Thunderer state, the duration of the Thunderer state increases by 1 turn with a 25% chance whenever you attack the enemy on your turn. [Automatic Effect]
- The Flame Thunderer – Falls under the Thunderer state that enhances your skills for 3 turns and instantly gains another turn. While under the Thunderer state, your Attack Power increases by 50%. Once the Thunderer state ends, you become stunned for 1 turn.
Water Indra (Parjanya)
- Thunder Shot – Attacks the enemy and decreases its Attack Bar by 30% with a 50% chance. While under the Thunderer state, the attack inflicts damage that increases according to your Defense, and attacks additionally with lower damage to enemies of the same attribute as the target.
- Divine Punishment: Thunderbolt – Attacks all enemies to recover the HP by 30% of the inflicted damage, and decreases their Attack Speed for 2 turns with a 50% chance. While under the Thunderer state, the attack inflicts damage that increases according to your Defense and provokes all enemies for 2 turns.
- Might: Resurrection (Passive) – Revives with 30% HP when you’re defeated and then falls under the Thunderer state for 3 turns. While under the Thunderer state, decreases the incoming damage from the enemy by 25%, and 50% if the incoming damage is from the provoked enemy. If the incoming damage is less than 10% of your MAX HP, the duration of the Thunderer state increases by 1 turn. [Automatic Effect]
- The Sea Thunderer – Falls under the Thunderer state that enhances your skills for 3 turns and instantly gains another turn. While under the Thunderer state, your Defense increases by 100%. Once the Thunderer state ends, you become stunned for 1 turn.
Wind Indra (Chakra)
- Thunder Shot – Attacks the enemy and decreases its Attack Bar by 30% with a 50% chance. When used during the Thunderer state, you attack additionally with lower damage to enemies of the same attribute as the target.
- Wild Bolt – Attacks all enemies and decreases their Attack Power for 2 turns with a 70% chance. When used during the Thunderer state, leaves a Branding effect for 2 turns with a 40% chance.
- Might: Hurricane (Passive) – Deals additional damage that’s proportionate to your Attack Speed when you attack the enemy. While under the Thunderer state, Might Hurricane (Passive) decrease your skill cooldown by 1 turn if the damage inflicted against the enemy is 30% or above of the target’s MAX HP. [Automatic Effect]
- The Wind Thunderer – Falls under the Thunderer state that enhances your skills for 3 turns and instantly gains another turn. In addition, your Attack Speed increases by 30%, up to 150%, whenever you use [The Wind Thunderer]. Once the Thunderer state ends, you become stunned for 1 turn.
Light Indra (Dyeus)
- Thunder Shot – Attacks the enemy and decreases its Attack Bar by 30% with a 50% chance. When used during the Thunderer state, you attack additionally with lower damage to enemies of the same attribute as the target.
- Wild Bolt – Attacks all enemies and decreases their Attack Power for 2 turns with a 70% chance. When used during the Thunderer state, leaves a Branding effect for 2 turns with a 40% chance.
- Might: Thunder (Passive) – Stuns the enemy for 1 turn with a 50% chance whenever you attack the enemy. While under the Thunderer state, decreases the enemy’s Might Thunder (Passive) Defense for 2 turns when you attack the enemy. If the target is stunned after the attack, the duration of the Thunderer state increases by 1 turn. [Automatic Effect]
- The Light Thunderer – Falls under the Thunderer state that enhances your skills for 3 turns and instantly gains another turn. While under the Thunderer state, your Critical Rate becomes 100%. Once the Thunderer state ends, you become stunned for 1 turn.
Dark Indra (Devaraja)
- Thunder Shot – Attacks the enemy and decreases its Attack Bar by 30% with a 50% chance. While under the Thunderer state, the attack inflicts damage that increases according to your Defense, and attacks additionally with lower damage to enemies of the same attribute as the target.
- Divine Punishment: Thunderbolt – Attacks all enemies to recover the HP by 30% of the inflicted damage, and decreases their Attack Speed for 2 turns with a 50% chance. While under the Thunderer state, the attack inflicts damage that increases according to your Defense and provokes all enemies for 2 turns.
- Overcharge (Passive) – Increases the damage dealt to the enemy by 10%, up to 50%, whenever you receive damage from the enemy. If you receive damage while under the Thunderer state, you reflect 30% of the received damage and increase the duration of the Thunderer state by 1 turn with a 50% chance. [Automatic Effect]
- The Dark Thunderer – Falls under the Thunderer state that enhances your skills for 3 turns and instantly gains another turn. While under the Thunderer state, your MAX HP increases by 30%. Once the Thunderer state ends, you become stunned for 1 turn.
Ashura – New Natural 4-Star Monsters
Ashura is a natural 4-Star monster and will be available to all players completely free-to-play, or at least 1 random elemental copy of the hero. Players will be able to summon Ashura through summoning scrolls. As per the tradition upheld by Com2Us, Ashura is also classified into 5 different elements – Fire, Water, Wind, Light, and Dark.
Here are the different elemental versions of Ashura along with their abilities: –
Fire Ashura (Varuna)
- Brutal Fists – Attacks the enemy 3 times and leaves a Branding effect with a 15% chance each. In addition, you attack the enemy one more time if your Attack Power is higher than the enemy target.
- Stormfist – Attacks the enemy 3 times and increases your Attack Bar by 15% each if the attack lands as a Critical Hit. The number of attacks increases up to 6 times according to your Attack Power.
- Sura’s Seal – Attacks the enemy 4 times to inflict damage that ignores all damage reduction effects, and increases their skill cooldown by 1 turn with a 30% chance each. The number of attacks increases up to 8 times according to the difference between the target and your Attack Power.
Water Ashura (Mayasura)
- Brutal Fists – Attacks the enemy 3 times and leaves a Branding effect with a 15% chance each. In addition, you attack the enemy one more time if your Attack Power is higher than the enemy target.
- Stormfist – Attacks the enemy 3 times and increases your Attack Bar by 15% each if the attack lands as a Critical Hit. The number of attacks increases up to 6 times according to your Attack Power.
- Constant Training (Passive) – Gradually increases your Attack Power whenever you attack the enemy. [Automatic Effect]
Wind Ashura (Usha)
- Brutal Fists – Attacks the enemy 3 times and leaves a Branding effect with a 15% chance each. In addition, you attack the enemy one more time if your Attack Power is higher than the enemy target.
- God’s Weapon – Attacks all enemies 2 to 4 times and inflicts Continuous Damage for 2 turns with a 50% chance each.
- Barrage of Madness – Attacks all enemies 3 to 5 times and absorbs their Attack Bar by 10% each. The more harmful effects granted on the target, the higher the chance of inflicting more number of attacks.
Light Ashura (Danu)
- Brutal Fists – Attacks the enemy 3 times and leaves a Branding effect with a 15% chance each. In addition, you attack the enemy one more time if your Attack Power is higher than the enemy target.
- Stormfist – Attacks the enemy 3 times and increases your Attack Bar by 15% each if the attack lands as a Critical Hit. The number of attacks increases up to 6 times according to your Attack Power.
- Anguish of the Underworld (Passive) – Inflicts additional damage to all enemies and stuns them for 1 turn if you attack the enemy 7 times in total on your turn. When the effect activates, the accumulated count refreshes. [Automatic Effect]
Dark Ashura (Vritra)
- Brutal Fists – Attacks the enemy 3 times and leaves a Branding effect with a 15% chance each. In addition, you attack the enemy one more time if your Attack Power is higher than the enemy target.
- God’s Weapon – Attacks all enemies 2 to 4 times and inflicts Continuous Damage for 2 turns with a 50% chance each.
- God of Wrath (Passive) – If your HP is 50% or above when you gain a turn, you go under the Threat state while the enemy attacks with a single-target skill 1 time. In addition, when you’re attacked during the enemy’s turn, you counterattack by the number of hits received to inflict damage that’s proportionate to your MAX HP and decreases the enemy’s Defense with a 30% chance.
