The global version of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross has just announced the completion of 2 years since the start of their game service. The Seven Deadly Sins anime/IP franchised turn-based RPG by Netmarble is celebrating its 2nd year anniversary in its own special way for the global version of the game. A multitude of events and freebies are being distributed over the course of almost 4 weeks with new heroes, new banners, new check-in rewards, and much more in store for all players who are currently playing the game or looking to start their adventure.

This 2nd Year anniversary celebrations are giving away tons of summons and freebies just for logging in and playing the game. First of all, we have a special 2nd-year anniversary banner that players can summon for free using the special 2nd-anniversary tickets for up to 220 summons. Apart from the 2nd year anniversary tickets, players can also log in now to claim the juicy maintenance rewards of 60 diamonds and a video sharing event reward of 30 diamonds. New Hawk Pass, New Costumes, and Main Story Chapter 22.5 also wait for you to clear and play. Queen Diane – Waves of the Earth

Waves of the Earth Queen Diane is the newest unit coming to the global version of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross on the auspicious occasion of it completing its 2nd year Anniversary! This version of Diane is a Strength type SSR rarity unit from the giant’s race. Waves of the Earth Queen Diane is a great supportive tank-type unit that deals more damage the more Ultimate gauge orbs the enemies have. She is also able to apply Taunt debuff with her Stance while increasing her HP-related attributes by 12%/18%/30% depending on the card rank. She does this using her 2nd skill Spinning Hammer. Her Ultimate ability states that Waves of the Earth Queen Diane does Quell damage to all enemies while healing herself and allies by 3% of the total damage dealt with this skill. This banner also contains the Purgatory Ban and The One Escanor so make sure to summon!

• Crazy Rush

Rank 1: Inflicts Pulverize damage equal to 180% of Attack on one enemy. When the hero has 4 or more Ultimate Move Gauge, reduces the enemy’s Ultimate Move Gauge by 1 orb.

Rank 2: Inflicts Pulverize damage equal to 270% of Attack on one enemy. When the hero has 4 or more Ultimate Move Gauge, reduces the enemy’s Ultimate Move Gauge by 1 orb.

Rank 3: Inflicts Pulverize damage equal to 450% of Attack on one enemy. When the hero has 4 or more Ultimate Move Gauge, reduces the enemy’s Ultimate Move Gauge by 1 orb.

• Spinning Hammer

Rank 1: Assumes a Stance that Taunts enemies and increases HP-related stats by 12% for 2 turn(s).

Rank 2: Assumes a Stance that Taunts enemies and increases HP-related stats by 18% for 3 turn(s).

Rank 3: Assumes a Stance that Taunts enemies and increases HP-related stats by 30% for 3 turn(s).

• Queen’s Embrace (Ultimate Move)

Inflicts Quell damage equal to 380% of Attack on all enemies and restores the HP of all allies by 3% of damage dealt.

2nd Year Anniversary Holy War Festival Special Events

• Log-In Event and 2nd Year Anniversary Step-Up Banner

Netmarble just announced their 2nd Year Anniversary special events for Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross! Every player will be able to get a free multi summon ticket every day just for logging in. Players can get one 2nd Anniversary Special ticket which is used for summoning on the 7DS 2nd Year anniversary step-up Banner which features major UR Level 80 fully awakened heroes as milestone rewards along the way. Players will get enough tickets to summon 20 times on the banner which equals a total of 220 free summons. The whole event lasts for almost a month starting from 8th March 2022 after maintenance ends till 5th April 2022.

The banner is broken down into loyalty points and each summon is equal to 3 loyalty points. At 300 and 600 loyalty points, players can choose their own guaranteed SSR unit from certain options. Here is the 28-Day Log-In reward list-

• Hawk’s Treasure Hunt Event

The next event in line for the 2nd year anniversary is none other than Hawk’s Treasure Hunt event which starts on 8th March 2022. Players can play this multiple times using the event currency for spinning the wheel which is titled “7DS 2nd Anniversary Pickaxe”. Each spin will consume 1 7DS 2nd Anniversary Pickaxe when used and will move Hawk in the numbers the spin wheel lands on. Players can consume up to a maximum of 30 spins daily and can further adjust the speed of the wheel by manually tapping it. Players get 5 of these 7DS 2nd Anniversary Pickaxe every day in their mailbox after server reset.

Hawk will pick up the rewards on his own when he passes through them. The whole map will have some secret contraptions which can result in benefits for more rewards or set Hawk back to the starting point resulting in a loss. Players can further acquire the 7DS 2nd Anniversary Pickaxe from clearing the Free Stages, Event Stages, Fort Solgres, Death Match, Main Story, Boss Battle, and Tower of Trials. 

• Lucky Bag Event

The Lucky Bad Event is a new event, especially for the 2nd year anniversary of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. The whole event starts on 8th March 2022 after maintenance and ends on 21st March 2022 after maintenance. The event consists of finding 7DS 2nd Anniversary Lucky Bags that are spread across different locations. Players can find a total of 6 of 7DS 2nd Anniversary Lucky Bags daily and upon finding all 6 in a single day, they will be rewarded with 10 Diamonds. The 7DS 2nd Anniversary Lucky Bag themselves contain juicy rewards and are distributed at different rates to obtain them. Some of the rewards included are:

1. Diamonds x 25 (5% rate)
2. Super Awakening Coins x 3 (15% rate)
3. UR Treasure Chest x 5 (15% rate)
4. Anvil x 300 (15% rate)
5. Equipment Engraving Stone x 10 (15% rate)

• King’s Upgrade Material Exchange Event

King’s Upgrade Material Exchange Event is a material exchange event that helps new and mid-game players. Players can take advantage of it by going to King in the tavern and clicking on Exchange Materials. Players are able to exchange their excess items of a certain quantity for other items of different quantities at a certain amount. Players can do this exchange at any time during the entire event.

• Special 2nd Year Anniversary Missions

Players can get new summoning special tickets for the newest Wave of the Earth Queen Diane banner by completing the various missions associated with it. Completing these missions will also give bonus rewards. Completing all the missions will give 10 tickets to summon on the Wave of the Earth Queen Diane Banner. The newest Event battle boss Baluja is here for the 2nd Anniversary of Global Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. Players can fight this event battle boss on 3 different difficulties – Normal, Hard, and Extreme. The higher the difficulty, the more rewards players get. Players can fight the Event Battle Boss Baluja every day up to a maximum of 3 times. They further get bonus rewards for clearing the boss battle at certain times. Players can exchange the earned event currency in the Event Boss Exchange Shop for juicy rewards. Each special reward is unique and juicy. Let’s first see the rewards: –

1. Player Rank EXP x 2 – Players will get triple the amount of experience for their player rank when playing Free Stages, Main Story Stages, Boss Battle, and Fort Solgres.
2. Main/Free Stage have their stamina costs lowered by 50%.
3. All Village Shops will be open for the duration of the boosting event.
4. Increased the material shop purchase limit.
5. All Heroes can be upgraded at less cost than usual or at a discount.
6. Increased enhancement/ultra-success rate when upgrading heroes.

New Costumes and Outfits

Along with the new content and events, players will also be able to purchase costumes for Waves of the Earth Diane. You can purchase this costume in the main costume shop for 30 diamonds.
