One of the best times to start any game is when its anniversary period is going on and top that with a multitude of events and rewards, you will find yourself staring at the 3rd-anniversary events going on in Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, the Seven Deadly Sins anime/manga IP (intellectual property) turn-based RPG. The Netmarble published game is currently celebrating this auspicious occasion for the global version of the game which is available as a free-to-play application on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Players can experience a vast array of events ranging from simple log-in rewards to full-fledged fights with demons.  

The 3rd year anniversary of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is in full bloom! The anniversary events start on 7th June 2022 and last till 12th July 2022, spanning over a month-long of festivities. During this time, players can enjoy a fruitful of rewards like the juicy 300 diamonds through a special check-in event as well as getting their hands on the newest version of Hawk being added to the game completely for free just by logging into the game between the anniversary time. A new set of special missions as well as a new battle boss featuring Original Demon is also set to go live. A new element called Light is also being added, with the Light elemental Elizabeth being the first hero to be introduced for the element. She will be featured alongside Dark elemental Meliodas on the 3rd anniversary special banner. There’s a lot to cover, so let’s get right to the details for the 3rd anniversary of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross.

Elizabeth of Eternal Rebirth – Restored Memories

As the 3rd anniversary has started, players will be getting introduced to another new element called Light and the first hero who will be attributed to this element will be Elizabeth of Eternal Rebirth (Restored Memories). She is also going to be the featured unit along with Traiter Meliodas (Holy Warrior) who was the first dark elemental unit on the 3rd Anniversary Grand Festival banner. Players will be able to summon on the banner using their collected diamonds as well as the “Grand Cross 3rd Anniversary Poll Draw Tickets”. 

Let’s take a look at Elizabeth of Eternal Rebirth’s skills a bit more in detail: –

• Spiral Light

Rank 1: Inflicts Flood damage equal to 200% of Attack on one enemy.

Rank 2: Inflicts Flood damage equal to 300% of Attack on one enemy.

Rank 3: Inflicts Flood damage equal to 500% of Attack on one enemy.

• Volley of Light

Rank 1: Inflicts damage equal to 110% of Attack on all enemies, for each Ultimate Move Gauge orb, inflicts additional damage equal to 3% of Max HP.

Rank 2: Inflicts damage equal to 165% of Attack on all enemies, for each Ultimate Move Gauge orb, inflicts additional damage equal to 5% of Max HP.

Rank 3: Inflicts damage equal to 275% of Attack on all enemies, for each Ultimate Move Gauge orb, inflicts additional damage equal to 8% of Max HP.

• Jonah’s Suffering (Ultimate Move)

Inflicts damage equal to 30% of the hero’s Max HP on all enemies, apply to Revive on allies for 1 turn(s).

Damage Multiplier: 30-60%

• Eternal Reincarnation (Passive Ability)

Every time one of the applicable allies uses a skill, increases their basic stats by 4% stacking up to 6 times. At max stack, applicable allies recover 30% of Max HP, then increases all of the hero’s stats by 15% for 5 turns (Does not apply to Recovery Rate). 

Her Association effects can be unlocked by pairing her with The Dragon Sin of Wrath Meliodas (Attack + 280), Knight of Wrath Meliodas (Attack + 280), New Legends Meliodas (Attack + 280), The Ten Commandments Derieri (Defense +340), Elite Demon Derieri (Defense +340), and Sweet Temptation Derieri (Defense +340).

Traitor Meliodas – Holy Warrior

Traitor Meliodas, the first-ever dark elemental unit is also making a comeback in Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross with the 3rd anniversary Grand Festival. Players can recruit him by summoning him on the Grand Festival Poll Draw banner by using their collected Diamonds or using “Grand Cross 3rd Anniversary Poll Draw Tickets”.

Rank 1: Inflicts Amplify damage equal to 180% of Attack on one enemy.

Rank 1: Inflicts Pierce damage equal to 100% of Attack on all enemies.

• Apocalypse (Ultimate Move)

Removes Buffs and Stances on all enemies. Decreases enemies’ all stats by 5% for 2 turn(s) and inflict Cleave damage equal to 585% of Attack on all enemies.

• Offense-Defense Hybridity (Passive Ability)

Every time allies use single-target attack skills, all of the hero’s stats are increased by 6% for 3 turns, stacking up to 5 times. If 2 or more single-target attack skills are used in a single turn, allies’ damage taken from enemies decreases by 8%, stacking up to 40%.

His Association effects can be unlocked by pairing him with The Fox Sin of Greed Ban (Lifesteal + 12%), Nunchaku Ban (Lifesteal + 12%), Ale Collector Ban (Lifesteal + 12%), Sunshine Escanor (Resistance + 24.6%), and The Lion Sin of Pride Escanor (Resistance + 24.6%).

Captain Hawk – New Pub

Captain Hawk, the loving pig mascot of the Seven Deadly Sins universe will be getting its latest version titled “New Pub Captain Hawk” for the 3rd anniversary of Grand Cross. All players who log in between 7th June 2022 – 12th July 2022 can expect this hero in the in-game mailbox, waiting for himself to be claimed. Being a free-to-play hero, his skill sets are definitely not the best but not the worst either.

Rank 1: Inflicts damage equal to 240% of Attack on one enemy.

Rank 2: Cancels Stances on one enemy and inflicts damage equal to 300% of the Attack.

• Leftover Breath

Rank 1: Inflicts Shatter damage equal to 120% of Attack on all enemies.

Rank 2: Inflicts Shatter damage equal to 180% of Attack on all enemies.

• Hectic Blow (Ultimate Move)

Inflicts damage equal to 560% of Attack on one enemy. Decreases HP-related stats by 40% for 2 turn(s).

3rd Year Anniversary Grand Festival Special Events

• Check-In Event and 3rd Anniversary Grand Festival Poll Draw Step-Up Banner

With the 3rd anniversary of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross global version in full swing already as we speak, players can log in to the game to find themselves treated with several rewards. A standard 28-Day Check-In event is currently live where players will be able to get up to 300 diamonds over a span of 28 days by simply logging in to the game every day without missing a single day. This event started on 7th June 2022 and ends on 12th July 2022, for the entire duration of the 3rd anniversary.

As mentioned before, a new festival banner for the 3rd anniversary of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is live as we speak and features the heroes Traitor Meliodas/Elizabeth of Eternal Rebirth. Players can make summons on this banner using their diamonds or using Grand Cross 3rd Anniversary Poll Draw Tickets. Players will be getting Loyalty Points per summon they make. At 300 and 600 Loyalty Points, players will be guaranteed an SSR hero. At 900 loyalty points, players will be guaranteed to summon Elizabeth of Eternal Rebirth. • 3rd Anniversary Spin Event

A new 3rd-anniversary Spin event is also live in-game! The event started on 7th June 2022 and ends on 21st June 2022. Players can get a currency called Grand Cross 3rd Anniversary Coin in their mailbox every day during this time period and this currency will be used extensively to spin the board in this event. Players need to use Grand Cross 3rd Anniversary Coins to spin different boards and each board has multiple rewards inside it. A special reward, limited to 1 per board, also exists on every board. There exists a total of 8 boards in this event and players can choose to reset the boards in order to move on to the next board once they collect the current board’s special reward. Players can also choose to stay and collect the rest of the rewards of the current board before moving to the next board by resetting it.

During the event period, players will be able to farm Grand Cross 3rd Anniversary Coins from different areas in the game but the major ones primarily being Main Stages, Free Stages, Fort Solgres, Boss Battle, Death Match, Reverse Stage, etc. The special rewards for each board are as follows:

The 3rd anniversary of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is not complete without the inclusion of the Lucky Bag event which happens on all anniversaries of the game. In this event, players can open a total of 6 Lucky Bags, each of which contains some special rewards with differing rates. The items inside the Lucky Bags are as follows:

1. Diamonds x 25 (5% rate)
2. Super Awakening Coins x 3 (15% rate)
3. UR Treasure Chest x 5 (15% rate)
4. Anvil x 300 (15% rate)
5. Equipment Engraving Stone x 10 (15% rate)

This event has also started already on 7th June 2022 and ends on 5th July 2022.

• King’s Upgrade Material Exchange Event

King’s Upgrade Material Exchange Event started on 7th June 2022 and ends on 5th July 2022 and is a material exchange event. Players can choose to exchange different quantities of certain materials for other materials offered by King. During this event, players will be given more of the materials than usual. 

• Special 3rd Anniversary Missions

Players can get new summoning special tickets for the newest Wave of the Earth Queen Diane banner by completing the various mission associated with it. Completing these missions will also give bonus rewards. Completing all the missions will give 10 tickets to summon on the Wave of the Earth Queen Diane Banner. • Event Battle Boss – Demon Kimara

A new boss battle event with the Demon Kimara is also currently live. The event started on 7th June 2022 and ends on 5th July 2022. Players can fight the Demon Kimara battle boss up to 5 times each day after the server reset. Players can fight the boss on 3 different difficulties – Normal, Hard, and Extreme. This makes it possible for any player to complete this event. Players can further exchange the collected event currency in the battle boss exchange shop for some additional rewards. Players will also be rewarded according to the number of times they fight the event boss battle. Each special reward is unique and juicy. Let’s first see the rewards offered: –

• Boosting Events

A plethora of boosting events will be running live from 7th June 2022 till 5th July 2022 in celebration of the Grand Cross’s 3rd Anniversary. The events are as follows: –

1. Player Rank EXP x 2 – Players will get double experience than usual for their player rank when playing Free Stages, Main Story Stages, Boss Battle, and Fort Solgres.
2. Main/Free Stage stamina costs will be lowered by 50%.
3. Players will be able to play the Main Story stage for free without consuming Stamina.
4. Players will be getting 2X the amount of Auto-Clear tickets from the dispatch during this period.
5. All Village Shops will be open for the duration of the boosting event.
6. Equipment Salvage Super/Ultra Success rate increased.
7. Increased enhance/ultra-success rate when upgrading heroes.
