Viking Rise May 10 Update Brings New Events, Optimizations and More
A new update for Viking Rise has recently arrived, and it has brought with it a ton of new content to the online multiplayer real-time war strategy game by IGG.
In Viking Rise, players take the role of a Viking leader as they lead their Tribe to explore, plunder, and conquer the world of Midgard. The game features famous Heroes from Norse mythology and Viking history. Players have to strategize and use their wits to utilize the strengths of the Heroes and win wars.
The new update for Viking Rise introduces new events to the game alongside optimization, bug fixes, and a lot more.

Events
- Hero Reclamation: Chiefs must purify Heroes cursed by Hera
- Warship Construction: Tribe members must work together to collect building materials and build/upgrade a Warship for rare rewards
Optimizations
- Optimized Tribe’s free City Relocation
- Optimized skill display of Guardian Beasts
- Optimized types of daily quests
- Optimized chat rooms to display the Kingdom a user belongs to
- Optimized Solo Rank rewards in Tribe Mobilization, the higher your Tribe Score, the better the rewards
- Optimized display of Hero models and avatar frames in Outdoor Meet
- Optimized pop-up display of relocation items
- Optimized Wheel of Fortune rewards and added orange general Shards
Adjusted
- Adjusted skill values in Law of the Jungle
- Adjusted the location and number of Divine Realms on the map, including Altars, Shrines, Temples, and Sanctums
- Adjusted the distribution of rewards for Map Shards
- Adjusted price of building materials in the Prosperity Shop
- Adjusted the base value of resources consumed by certain buildings
- Adjusted the distribution of items for Materials for War
- Increased the Guardian Beast’s active defense mechanism, Chiefs can order Guardian Beasts to attack enemy Flag Towers bordering on their territory
- Increased weekly Resource Yield of Tribe Resource Points
- Reduced the tax rate of the King Skill “Levy” to 0.5%
- Reduced the duration of the first Stage in the Chronicle
- Reduced the percentage of resources returned when dismantling Tribe Flag Towers
- Items that grant Member Credit or Tribe Credit in Tribe Mobilization will now automatically be used when obtained
- Increased the number of Tribe Resource Points on the map and reduced the amount of Tribe resources transferred to personal resources
Fixes
- Fixed the issue where equipment attributes and Porter Load are miscalculated when gathering and automatically selecting Troops
- Fixed the issue where some players receive an insufficient capacity prompt when training Troops
- Fixed the abnormal display of the City icon
- Fixed the abnormal display of the avatar in Scouting mail
- Fixed the issue of insufficient load when dragging Troops to other Resource Points while gathering
- Fixed the issue where the equipment buff was not accounted for when creating a march
- Fixed the issue where the estimated time needed for promoting Troops was displayed incorrectly
- Fixed the problem where the Village Champ’s bonus was displayed incorrectly in the Resource Hut
- Fixed the issue where the quoted message cannot be expanded in the chat
