Players can follow these tips to make significant progress compared to their peers, provided they are executed the right way! Without more delay, let’s get your right into the meat of the article!
Tip #1. Re-rolling for a Strong Start
Characters in Code Geass: Lost Stories are going to be diverse and play a unique role in different formations. It’s widely important to understand that each character is not the same, quite literally as they are divided into different rarities and assigned different roles. Some characters have a higher power level from the get-go due to their higher rarity. Characters are obtained mainly from the innate summoning system. A strong start by re-rolling will fetch you with a higher chance of faster progression compared to other players who do not re-roll.
Re-rolling is a process that players can use to essentially summon multiple times by using different accounts to get the desired character from the start of their account creation journey. This process takes a lot of time, depending on the game and the rates of summoning the top-tier characters.
Tip #2. Understanding the Combat Mechanics
Many new players come in to the game, thinking it’s going to be all smooth sailing but as they reach a higher-level chapter in the main story mode, they soon realize that’s not the case. Code Geass: Lost Stories is a tower-defense game that makes use of real-time battle system wherein you place your characters in designated tiles. Some tiles offer some extra bonuses to certain types of characters. Enemies spawn in hordes from different areas, marked by red zones. Protect your base and do not let the enemies get inside, or else you will lose. Different characters can offer different utility, such as the Defenders can act as melee-ranged damage absorbers to defend your base zones.
Tip #3. Devising a Solid Formation of Pilots and Knightmare Frames
A great formation is only formed by composing it with Pilots and Knightmare Frames that synergize with each other. There’s a lot of things to keep in mind, such as Offense, Defense, type of battlefield, and the resources your characters will consume in battle. By resources, we mean the energy points located at the bottom of the screen. Each character requires a certain amount of energy to be deployed on the battlefield. Once defeated or redacted, they are also imposed with a cooldown time until they can be deployed again.
Pilots come in different rarities and roles. Let’s take a look at all of them:
- Assault – These are generally melee-ranged warriors that cost less energy to be deployed into battles. They also act as a great source of dealing damage to enemies in front of them.
- Repair – These Pilots are generally not participating in battles, rather they support allies from outside by providing KMF skills.
- Guard – These are generally melee-ranged knights that cost less energy to be deployed into battles. They also act as gatekeepers, safeguarding our zones from enemies.
- Specialist – These Pilots are generally more inclined towards healing, and buffing allied pilots on the battlefield. They cover a wide range of allies to heal them with their basic attacks and abilities.
- Strategist – These Pilots are best known for their wide array of buffing and debuffing capabilities.
- Exterminator – These Pilots are the titular DPS characters in the game. They are known for having the highest base attack and DPS potential in the entire game.
Tip #4. Clearing the Main Quests to Get More Rewards!
One of the best tips any veteran of the genre will give you is to simply progress through the Main storyline and complete the chapters. Once you get the hang of the game, you will feel much more comfortable in taking risky decisions and understanding the consequences. For many players, the main storyline also acts as a tutorial as it teaches you the value of different combat mechanics such as formation strategies, resource collection, hero deployment, pilot roles, knightmare frames functionality, and more. What’s more? You get tons of rewards by simply advancing through the main story chapters.
Tip #5. Set your Birthday and Use Booster Items
This tip might sound out of the ordinary but it’s been consistently proven and shared by veterans of the game who have tested the Japanese version of Code Geass: Lost Stories. You can get 10x 3-Star summoning tickets by simply setting up your birthday! The catch, you might ask? You will get the tickets only on your birth date. Another helpful tip would be to use booster items such as increased Gold, EXP, and summons. These items are presented to you at many stages of the game, such as through events, pre-registration rewards, promo codes, and more similar avenues.
Playing Code Geass: Lost Stories on a bigger screen of your PC with BlueStacks without worrying about battery drainage and smooth gameplay, is highly recommended.
