Crossfire: Warzone Tips, Tricks, and Strategies for Winning the Game
Crossfire: Warzone is an interesting game, offering not only some of the best strategy mechanics out there, but also combining them with a zombie apocalypse setting, and some interesting first-person shooter segments for variety. The result is a unique experiencethat you won’t find anywhere else, while also offering familiar elements for those who like to indulge in mobile strategy games.
While most of you veterans out there will have a relatively easy time getting used to Crossfire, the newcomers to the genre might need to put in some extra hours before getting acclimated. Because of this, we decided to write a guide with some basic tips and strategies for progressing and winning in this game.
Learn the Unit Type Advantages
There are various types of troops in Crossfire: Warzone, which you can train in different facilities throughout your base. These troops all have different properties, especially when it comes to their performance in combat. It’s particularly worth mentioning here that every troop type has inherent advantages and weaknesses against other soldiers, and learning these type matchups will be pivotal for winning battles, particularly in PvP.
There are 3 different types of units in Crossfire:
- Infantry: Trained in the Academy. They all have biotic armor, and deal 150% damage to maneuverable armor types.
- Vehicles: Built in the Vehicle Plant. They have mechanical armor, and deal 150% damage to biotic armor types.
- Helicopters: Built in the Helicopter Plant. They have maneuverable armor, and deal 150% damage to mechanical armor types.
By learning the type advantages, and scouting the enemy before attacking, you’ll have a much easier time breaking through their defenses. Even for early-game PvE, this info can come in handy as you usually need to clear out the enemies out of gathering spots before you’re able to collect resources. However, remember to scout the enemy beforehand so you always know what to expect.
Focus on Your Command Post
Like in many other mobile strategy games, the progress of your base in Crossfire: Warzone is closely-related to that of your Command Post. This building is your main structure as upgrading it can help to unlock new features for your base. Moreover, the level of all your other buildings are tied to that of your Command Post. In other words, none of your buildings can ever be of a higher level than your main structure.
In this sense, it’s important to focus on your Command Post whenever possible, both in order to unlock new features once you reach certain thresholds, as well as to allow your other buildings to reach higher levels.
Check Your Mailbox Often
It’s not uncommon in this game to receive lots of prizes for many different reasons. Whether the game reached a certain community milestone, an event ended, someone reached a certain goal in the game, or any other reason, everyone is rewarded whenever something important happens. And most of these rewards land directly in your inbox. For this reason, you should always check your mail whenever you see a red button next to it as you’ll surely have a few prizes coming your way.
Additionally, if you’re new to the game, you will also receive some beginner goodies that can help to expedite your progress such as speedups and resources, as well as buff items, among others.
Do Those Daily Missions
If you’re just starting out and constantly lose track of what to do, the missions list is there to help.
The missions panel on the lower-left corner of the screen has lots of tasks that can help you to focus your efforts on the most important activities, while also rewarding you whenever you complete each of these. Most importantly, however, are the daily missions, which refresh every 24 hours, and grant even better rewards upon completion. Every daily task you complete will also add Daily Mission Points to your counter, when you reach certain milestones, you will receive additional rewards, some of which are very good.
In this sense, both the missions list and daily missions are vital progression tools in Crossfire: Warzone. It’s always worth going out of your way to complete the latter due to the awesome rewards that they offer.
Always Train Troops and Send Them Out to Gather as Often as You Can
One of the most important parts of your base are your military buildings in which you can train the different troop types. However, these structures are completely ineffectual on their own since you need to manually order them to train troops every time they’re finished. In this sense, the most important part about progressing in Crossfire is diligence. Diligence to always train troops; diligence to constantly send them out to gather resources from the map, and diligence to complete your quests every day.
Remember that it’s not enough to just train your soldiers; it’s also necessary to manually send them out to the map to gather resources as much as you possibly can. Every extra unit of food and iron you can get will go straight towards training new troops which, in turn, will increase your production since a larger army will be able to gather more resources from every trip.

When it comes to gaming, good players can make do with the tools that they have on hand. However, this doesn’t mean that, if you have access to better tools that can give you the advantage, you shouldn’t take them. This is exactly what BlueStacks offers you when playing Crossfire: Warzone.
