Delta Force was recently launched into Early Access on December 5th, which made a lot of PC gamers go excited. This is a free phase that gives players an overall idea of the full capability of the game, from gameplay modes to maps, weapons, and others. Here’s a rundown of what’s happening now in Delta Force Early Access. While currently available only on PC, a console release is on the horizon for early 2025.

Server Setup and Progression

The game hosts servers in areas like Europe, North America, South America, Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, providing a low latency gaming experience. Importantly, all advancement made during Early Access will be transferred to the game’s final version.

Gameplay Features and Modes

  • War Mode: In this mode, experience war games, the simulation of battlegrounds with dynamic, all-out-war gameplay. Modes like Attack and Defend and King of the Hill are quite pleasing, while Blitz, Siege, and Hill of Iron, among others, only occur in seasonal events.
  • Operation Mode: This mode brings missions-based team play over four unique maps, where distinct missions and bosses define them. A PvE content will drop on 1 January, which will enrich tactical gameplay.
  • Drill Mode: Early Access introduced Drill mode, which is a training mode against AI. It is ideal to hone strategies and test new arms without the pressure of competition.

Maps and Environments

Early Access features five maps in Warfare mode, combining all landscapes from previous alpha stages as well as three new maps designed for different combat tactics.

Operators and Customization

There are eight operators, each with unique abilities and extensive customization options. A new support operator, Toxic, is added, offering disruptive and healing capabilities to enhance team dynamics.

Weapon Arsenal and Customization

The arsenal includes 50 weapons across various categories with numerous customization options in the gunsmith, allowing for personalized weapon setups and strategic modifications.

Vehicles and Mobility

The vehicle roster consists of alpha-stage vehicles and a new Recon helicopter, offering tactical mobility and varied combat strategies. Feedback during Early Access is guiding ongoing refinements to vehicle controls and balance.

In-Game Economy and Rewards

Delta Force utilizes an in-game currency system consisting of Delta Tickets and Delta Coins, supplemented by a Battle Pass in three variants to cater to different player preferences, enriching the player’s reward system.
