Being a hero-collector RPG, Demian Saga relies on its innate gacha mechanics to offer players different rarities of heroes. Akin to other gacha games, all of these heroes have their own unique skill set and are assigned a particular rarity. The higher the base rarity of the hero, the lower it’s probability of being summoned, and vice versa. Demian Saga also has a pity system in place where players are guaranteed 1 SSR hero every 30 summons. Here are the different rarities of heroes and their rates of being summoned:

• SSR Heroes – 4% Probability of being summoned
• SR Heroes – 46% Probability of being summoned
• R Heroes – 50% Probability of being summoned

In this tier list for Demian Saga, we will be ranking the best heroes at the time of global launch. For such a feat, we have carefully taken several factors into consideration. Firstly, the base rarity of any hero decides their overall stat lines. Hence, the higher the base rarity, the better it will be ranked on the tier list. Secondly, the nature of their abilities plays a vital role in the type of content the heroes can be used. This is a speculative tier list made on pre-tense of limited knowledge and testing done for all heroes. We would recommend for players to take inspiration from this tier list while building their own formations, suitable according to their needs.

S Tier Heroes

Let’s take a look at some of the heroes in this tier:

SLAYER

Slayer is an SSR rarity hero from the Gigantria nation that is listed as a Magic type in-game. Slayer is a powerful damage dealer that can reap through tanks. Her description states the following – “Slayer is an automaton that guards and watches the secrets of the Royal Arcane Workshop. As significant as the facility is, it has an equal amount of secrets. These secrets are like wild beasts that cannot be tamed and could endanger many people if disclosed. All the top secret information of the Royal Arcane Workshop is saved in Slayer’s head. It’s only possible for her to protect what she knows. Slayer trusts nobody, including her creator Dr. Sparky, other automatons, and even herself.”

Slayer’s basic ability Two Birds One Stone is a single-targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage the enemy with the highest MAX HP and lowest Magical defense. Further, makes the enemy stunned and vulnerable. Slayer’s 2nd active ability Spatial Destruction is a single-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to the enemy in front, while also knocking them back. Sharon’s 3rd active ability Flash Strike states the following – “Charges forward in the targeted direction, dealing damage and inflicting knockback to enemies within range. Also, makes the enemy silenced. Becomes Invincible during waiting stance.”

SHARON

Sharon is an SSR rarity hero from the Gigantria nation that is listed as a Destructive type in-game. Her description states the following – “The Pygmalion Project was ambitious promoted by the Royal Arcane Workshop of Gigantria. At the end of their long and gruelling research, the result of the project’s success, Sharon was born. Although the prototypes made before Sharon boasted capabilities that were incomparable to anything else before, Sharon was an automaton that at an even higher level of evolution. Sharon’s capabilities were derived from all kinds of the latest technology concentrated in her body, and her human-like ability to make decisions was unrivalled.”

Sharon’s basic ability Cleanup Time is an AOE-targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to all the enemies caught in the projectile, while also knocking them back and inflicting Shock debuff.  Sharon’s 2nd active ability Resist states that every time she takes damage from enemies, she also increases her Critical Hit Damage. This can stack up to 20 times. Sharon’s 3rd active ability Electro Chain is a multi-targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to enemies in a chain, inflicting them with Shock debuff. Enemies hit are also stunned.

LEO KHAN

Leo Khan is an SSR rarity hero from the Everwood nation that is listed as an Agility type in-game. Her description states the following – “There is a wide variety of monsters in the world, and they all have something in common, regardless of shape or size. They are fierce and dangerous, and Leo Khan hunts them down. There are large brutes, and even mystical creatures with special powers. However, Leo Khan is always the victor of the bloody battles. Monsters from all over the world have fallen to her claws. No matter how strong and cunning they are, it’s impossible to defeat a well-prepared hunter.”

Leo Khan’s basic ability Growl states the following – “Lets out a roar, removing all debuffs from herself, and restores a portion of damage received as HP for a certain duration. Deals damage to nearby enemies.” Leo Khan’s 2nd active ability Tail Whip is an AOE-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies, while also inflicting them with Burn debuff. Enemies hit by this skill do not target her for a short duration. Leo Khan’s 3rd active ability Ambush is a self-buffing ability where she becomes Hidden for a while. During this state, she gains extra movement speed and Increased Attack buff.

SIEGFRIED

Siegfried is an SSR rarity hero from the Akeroth nation that is listed as a Defensive type in-game. His description states the following – “The World of Darkness. A realm on the other side of the real world, and the home of the Kaos. Following rumors of hidden treasure that can bring people to the Primeval Highlands, many have embarked for the World of Darkness, but only a few have come back alive. What Siegfried faced in the world of night was a huge number of Kaos corps and the Kaos mutants who led them. The pirates fell one by one to the endless waves of enemies.”

Siegfried’s basic ability Axe Throw states the following – “Throws an axe towards an enemy dealing damage. Also, inflicts stun and makes the enemy vulnerable When using this skill, gains increased Physical Defense and ignores enemy hit effects. He then charges forward, dealing damage two more times. If the last attack hits, it inflicts knockdown.” Siegfried’s 2nd active ability War Cry is an AOE-targeted debuffing skill that inflicts Fear debuff on all enemies in the range. Further, grants himself an Increased Attack buff. Siegfried’s 3rd active ability Whirlwind is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies caught in the vertical projectile. Enemies hit are knocked back.

NAKURU

Nakuru is an SSR rarity hero from the Poseia nation that is listed as a Magic type in-game. Her description states the following – “The seal of the divine beasts left by the sacred water dragon began to weaken. The evil monsters that the divine beasts locked up during the war long ago were about to break free. The kingdom beneath the sea, home to the mermaids, was facing a dire situation. As descendants of the water dragon, they had been guarding the seal of the divine beasts. Fortunately, the sea kingdom has a plan.”

Nakuru’s basic ability Ride the Wave is an AOE-targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to all the enemies caught in the projectile, while also knocking them back. Nakuru’s 2nd active ability Water Barrier is a supportive skill that states she grants a barrier equal to 30% of the targeted ally’s MAX HP. Nakuru’s 3rd active ability Splish Splash is an AOE-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies caught in the range. Enemies caught in the area are neutralized and made vulnerable.

NAZAR

Nazar is an SSR rarity hero from the Everwood nation that is listed as a Destructive type in-game. Her description states the following – “Nazar is trapped in an apocalyptic time loop. Not long after waking up in an old ruin, the world faces its end. Right at its moment of demise, Nazar opens her eyes amid the wreckage. She can’t remember who she is or why she must suffer this fate. Nazar repeatedly tried to prevent the apocalypse at first but no matter her actions, fate could neither be changed or avoided.”. Tristan’s basic ability Soaring Blade is a single targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage based on his Attack to the enemy along with having a 100% chance of inflicting a decreased Attack Speed debuff for 2 turns.

Nazar’s basic ability Burn is an AOE-targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to all the enemies, while also inflicting them with Burn debuff. Nazar’s 2nd active ability Fire Up is a self-buffing ability that states she gains a permanent Increased Attack buff whenever her HP% falls below 50%, 30%, and 10%. Nazar’s 3rd active ability Burning Flame is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies caught in the range. She enters a Fire Blast state that lasts for 5.8 seconds. Her abilities and basic attacks deal more damage. Also, she gains an 20% Increased Attack Speed buff for 5.8 seconds.

SERENA CLARO

Serena Claro is an SSR rarity hero from the Poseia nation that is listed as a Magic type in-game. Her description states the following – “The divine beasts are only mentioned in myths and legends. Serena Claro is the last living being that recalls their existence. Before the beasts disappeared, she grew up in the loving care of the frost dragon. The divine beasts that she thought would live forever began dying one at a time. The frost dragon was no exception. The dragon bequeathed its power to Serena Claro and gave her a mission to protect the seal of the divine beasts.”

Serena Claro’s basic ability Ice Barrage is a multi-targeted damaging ability that deals magical damage to the enemy. The enemy gets knocked back on the last hit and also takes continuous damage. Their movement speed is also reduced. Serena Claro’s 2nd active ability Ice Shield is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals magical damage to all enemies within the ability projectile. Enemies hit are also knocked back and she grants a cooldown reset to her 2nd ability. Serena Claro’s 3rd active ability Frost Orb is an AOE-targeted damaging skill that deals magical damage to all enemies caught in the explosion of the Ice Crystals deployed. The Ice Crystals shares 60% of her own stats.

VICTORIA

Victoria is an SSR rarity hero from the Elysion nation that is listed as an Assault type in-game. Her description states the following – “Victoria is a paladin with a sense of righteousness. No matter how unfavourable the battle is, she never loses courage. She knows backing down would endanger the people she is trying to protect. The way she stands proudly with her flag also encourages her allies. In the words of Preah, her immediate senior, Victoria is the definition of chivalry.”

Victoria’s basic ability Sweep is an AOE-targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to all the enemies caught in the projectile, while also knocking them back. Victoria’s 2nd active ability Justice is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies within the ability projectile. Enemies hit are also knocked back on the 3rd hit. Victoria’s 3rd active ability Shatter is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies caught in the range. Enemies hit are knocked back and inflicted with the Vulnerable debuff. If this attack kills an enemy, Victoria gains an Increased Attack buff for herself.

VANESSA

Vanessa is an SSR rarity hero from the Gigantria nation that is listed as a Defensive type in-game. Her description states the following – “The world’s end was approaching. Endless waves of Kaos rushed towards Panthera’s last stronghold, the Royal Arcane Workshop. Vanessa was always ready to face her end, to fend off the enemy and protect her friends as long as she can. That was the reason combat automatons exist, after all.”

Vanessa’s basic ability Guardian is a multi-targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to all enemies while also granting all allies a Physical Defense buff. Vanessa’s 3rd active ability Shield Waves is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies within the ability projectile. Enemies hit are also inflicted with Shock debuff. Vanessa’s 2nd active ability Taunt is a self-buffing ability that ignores all hit effect stats on enemies and forces them to hit her for the next 4.8 seconds. Further, she gains a Magic Defense buff during this time.

B Tier Heroes

YUI KIM

Yui Kim is an SSR rarity hero from the Gigantria nation that is listed as an Agility type in-game. Her description states the following – “The Maester Academy that Yui attends is an elite educational institute that trains arcane engineers. Those who study here will go on to become the future leaders of Gigantria. However, there is always an exception. One good example would be Yui Kim, a troublemaker notorious in the academy. She is free-spirited and receives barely passing grades. She is so stubborn that even Kaos can’t change her mind. Whenever an incident occurs, nine times out of ten it’s Yui’s fault.”

Yui Kim’s basic ability Kick is a single targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to the enemy while also knocking them back. Yui Kim’s 3rd active ability Wide Slash is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies within the ability projectile. Enemies hit are also inflicted Vulnerable and Continuous damage debuffs. Yui Kim’s 2nd active ability Taunt is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies caught in the range. Enemies hit are also stunned. Further, she gains an Increased Physical Defense buff for herself.

KENICHI

Kenichi is an SSR rarity hero from the Akeroth nation that is listed as an Assault type in-game. His description states the following – “Kenichi was once a pirate, but now he is a criminal pursued by the Five Stars Guild for attacking his comrades and extorting treasure. Guild agents were dispatched several times to catch him, but Kenichi always managed to lose them and get away. Not only that, he recently formed a contract organization called the Shadow Society by recruiting two of his assassin companions, Kunoichi and Anastasi.”

Kenichi’s basic ability Crescent Moon Slash is a single targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to the enemy while also inflicting Bleed debuff on them. Kenichi’s 3rd active ability Breath of Concentration is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies within the range. Enemies hit are also inflicted with Silence and Bleed debuff. Kenichi’s 2nd active ability Flash Strike is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies caught in the range. Enemies hit are also inflicted with Silence and Bleed debuff. Further, he gains an Increased Attack buff for himself.

IRON MAIDEN

Iron Maiden is an SSR rarity hero from the Akeroth nation that is listed as an Assault type in-game. His description states the following – “Iron Entertainment is the greatest rock group of the era. Their leader, Iron Maiden, has become a world-renowned star purely from his talent and passion for music. When he first reached Gigantria, he had nothing. Thanks to his passion and perseverance, he endured a long period of obscurity until he gathered legendary members and became a world-famous star.”

Iron Maiden’s basic ability Showmanship is a single targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to the enemy. This ability also Stuns the enemy for 0.4 seconds. Iron Maiden’s 3rd active ability Rockstar is an AOE-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies with the third hit dealing extra damage and stunning the enemies hit. Iron Maiden’s 2nd active ability Power Chord is a multi-targeted damaging skill that deals physical damage to all enemies that are knocked back and stuns them for 0.5 seconds further.
