How to Get More EXP, Magic, Gems, and Tokens in Disney Magic Kingdoms
If you want to improve your park in Disney Magic Kingdoms, you’re going to need resources such as magic, tokens and EXP to unlock new buildings or upgrade existing characters. Additionally, you may need plenty of gems (the game’s premium currency) to buy chests or instantly finish long quests. In this guide, we’ll show you the various methods that grants you the resources that you need to efficiently upgrade your own Disneyland. If you haven’t done so already, check out this guide to learn how to install Disney Magic Kingdoms on your PC or Mac now with BlueStacks.
Attraction Enhancement
One of the easiest ways to earn magic, EXP, and tokens is by collecting the passive income from your park’s various attractions and concession stands.
The amount of resources that you can harvest as well as the amount of time needed to generate them depends on the building. For instance, the Mickey’s Fun Wheel generates 30 magic, 2 EXP, and random tokens every hour. On the other hand, Mickey’s PhilharMagic generates 83 magic and 8 EXP every 4 hours. You can instantly claim the full rewards by spending gems or cut down the generation time by spending time boosts.
Fortunately, you can increase your passive income by enchanting attractions. To enchant them, you need to gather the required tokens, and these can be acquired from enchanted chests or by completing character activities. Enchanting attractions not only increases the magic output, but it also adds more chances to drop other tokens. Moreover, you can also unlock benefits such as dropping two tokens at the same time. You can view the complete list of enchantment rewards by clicking on the building.
Essentially, the buildings of your Disneyland is a very important source of income and you have plenty of good reasons to enchant them to increase revenue. Additionally, some quests even require you to enchant an attraction so you can accomplish them.
Regularly Doing Quests/Activities
Collecting income from your buildings is the passive way of earning resources whereas doing quests and activities is the active way of earning resources.
The quests tab can be found on the left part of the screen. Main quests have a yellow background to them whereas side quests have a blue-green background. Completing quests rewards you with magic, EXP, and sometimes tokens depending on the quest.
In reality, quests are actually just scripted events of characters doing one of their many activities. Even if there is no quest associated with them, you can click on a character anytime and choose which activity they can do to earn magic, EXP, and tokens. Doing quests and activities can take plenty of time but you can finish these instantly by spending gems or cutting down the time with time boosts. Each character has their own set of activities, and each activity can take a different amount of time and grant different rewards sets. More activities can be unlocked by levelling up characters.
The way how characters can be levelled up is the same as attraction enchantment. You must collect the required of amount of tokens and have enough magic. Some quests require a character to be at a certain level so it’s always wise to level up your characters when you can.
Launching a Float Parade
Float parades are a staple of Disneyland and unsurprisingly they can also be found in Disney Magic Kingdoms. These parades are a great source magic, gems, and tokens.
There are plenty of floats that you can purchase and add into the parade lineup. Each float has a unique appearance and generates a certain amount of magic, gems, and tokens. Some floats do not generate tokens. Most floats can be purchased with 35 or 50 gems while some can be purchased with magic, namely Mickey and Friends, Toy Story, and Sleeping beauty floats.
The parade lineup consists of a maximum seven slots with the first slot being free. You can purchase more slots by spending gems. If you do not have a lot of gems, you may opt to buy two extra slots and buy the Toy Story and Sleeping Beauty floats with magic.
You can start the parade by spending the required amount of magic. The more floats you have, the more magic you need. Once the parade starts, it usually takes 2 hours for the parade to end and during this time, you can collect bonus rewards from the kingdom. After the parade ends, all rewards can be claimed from the float house, and you need to wait at least 8 hours to start another parade.
Daily Rewards
Clicking on the “Calendar” button found at the bottom of the screen brings you too the rewards page. This is where you can collect daily rewards and welcome rewards for collecting bonus resources.
The daily rewards span an entire month and simply requires you to sign in every day to claim a reward assigned to that day. You can view the full list of rewards on the calendar, and you can click them to view more information about them. If the reward is a chest, you can view the items that you can potentially get from it. Signing in everyday is important to maintain your streak. Having a streak grants you better rewards such as a new character (i.e., Tinker Bell). Your streak resets whenever you start a new streak reward.
What happens if you miss a day? Fortunately, the game gives you 24 hours to recover the reward of the previous day. Missing one day affects your streak’s progress but you can restart or recover the streak whenever you log into the game again.
