Beginner Tips and Tricks for Dragon Raja
Dragon Raja is one of the newest and hottest MMORPGs to hit the market. Released a few weeks ago in late February, this game is definitely making tracks due to its stellar visuals, awesome action-packed gameplay, and interesting narrative. It seems this title has all the bases covered, which is quite rare in the mobile platform.
However, while this game certainly has a ton of content and fun to offer the player, it’s this very variety that might make it a bit confusing for newcomers. Luckily, BlueStacks has you covered as we created this guide especially for those who are just getting started in Dragon Raja. In the following paragraphs, you’ll find numerous tips and tricks to help you progress in this awesome MMORPG.
Choose the Right Class for Your Play Style
We all know the significance of choosing a class in any MMORPG like Dragon Raja. Your choice here determines, in great part, your enjoyment of the game throughout the next few weeks, or even the next few months. Luckily, choosing the right class for your play style in this game is quite easy, especially since there are only four of them. We already went over the basics of each class in our beginner’s guide for Dragon Raja, so we recommend checking that article if you haven’t already. Nevertheless, here is a quick summary of every class in the game:
1. Blade Master
Can either be tank or melee DPS. Strong, durable, and reliable in any situation. The beginner’s choice.
2. Gunslinger
Ranged DPS that can do tons of damage from long distances. Has a high crit rate.
3. Soul Dancer
Ranged support and healer, which also packs a punch in the form of magical damage with the help of a twin that they can summon. Tricky to learn, but has tons of solo potential thanks to their healing and damage output.
4. Assassin
Melee DPS. Unlike the Blade Master, the Assassin is fragile and has a steep learning curve. They have the potential to deal the highest damage in the entire game in a group setting.
If you’re still not sure which class to go with, we recommend going with either the Blade Master, which is the safe choice, or the Soul Dance, which is a tad harder to learn, but the payoff is well worth it.
Your Story Decisions Affect Character Development
In what could be an interesting twist over the decisions in traditional MMORPGs, your choices in Dragon Raja actually have meaningful consequences, specifically regarding the way your character develops throughout the story. In other words, while these decisions don’t have much of an impact on the overall narrative (i.e. the same events will unfold regardless of your decision), your choices will affect the personality of your character which, in turn, will determine which skills and traits they will develop as you level up.
Your personality traits are important in Dragon Raja since they can grant all sorts of passive boosts that, at the very least, can increase certain stats, making your character better at specific tasks. For example, when you achieve certain personality scores, you will unlock titles that, once equipped, can boost your character’s stats. And the further you advance towards a certain type, you will unlock more bonuses for that category.
And speaking of titles…
Complement Your Power by Equipping Titles
Unlocking titles through story decisions and personality checks isn’t the only way to unlock titles in Dragon Raja. In fact, you can obtain an absurd number of titles for doing just about anything in this game which, when equipped, can definitely give you the edge in combat. Fortunately, an important number of titles are unlocked simply by playing through the main story, while others are obtained by naturally increasing your character’s power. In this sense, you’ll never be wanting for titles that could give you important boosts to your combat power, especially if you’re rushing through the main campaign, which brings us to our next point.
Rush Through the Main Story
Now, don’t get us wrong, we’re not saying that you should ignore the events and plot in Dragon Raja—there’s actually quite a lot to enjoy from the story alone! However, there are quite a lot of features and aspects in this MMORPG that are unlocked by completing missions in the main story, which is why they should be among your highest priorities in this game.
Basically, once you’re done with your daily tasks and allowances, and claimed all your rewards and went through the entire checklist of routine tasks, you should fill your downtime by advancing through the main story. Not only is this a good way to learn about the events of the game, but it’ll also open up new features for you to enjoy.
Grow the Correct Stats for Your Class
Dragon Raja is a bit different than other MMORPGs in the sense that gearing and upgrading your character is not as straightforward and automatic. Instead of simply equipping the piece with the highest combat power, you’ll need to consider the stat upgrades each piece confers. This is because every class benefits differently from certain stats, especially the ones that can fulfill more than one role in a party. For instance, Blade Masters can act as either tanks or melee DPS and, depending on their role, they might want to equip gear with physical defense or physical attack, respectively.
The same goes for every other class in the game. If you’re a Soul Dancer, for example, you’ll obviously equip titles and gear that increase your magic damage and your cooldown reduction. Luckily, if you’re not sure what stat to build, you can always find recommendations in your character screen. The parameters that are marked with a yellow “M” on the list are the ones you should be focusing on at all times.
Remember to Claim Your Freebies
Dragon Raja is one of those games that gives a ton of rewards and gifts from the very beginning. From downloading resource packs and linking your account, to logging in every day or completing certain challenges, this game grants you a ton of rewards to help you get started in the world. However, you’ll first need to claim these items before you’re able to use them. Luckily, claiming these items is as easy as clicking on the “rewards available” arrow on the top left of the screen, and perusing through the list of prizes ready for the taking.
Remember to check in frequently so you never lose a gift that could potentially help you beat a difficult challenge!
