The Best Heroes in Dynasty Legends 2
Heroes in Dynasty Legends 2 can be acquired by recruiting them in the Divination tab. Heroes can also be unlocked by collecting enough shards and combing them to unlock characters that you haven’t gotten before. Heroes are important in this game because they provide the player with playable units to defeat their opponents.
In our Battle Rating Guide, we mentioned how high-rarity heroes are crucial for ramping up the power value of your team. Today, we’ll be talking about the Legendary heroes in Dynasty Legends 2, and which one of them is worth investing in if you’re trying to reroll your account or spending real money to recruit specific units. We’ll be ranking them according to the most valuable to the least valuable.
S Tier
The S Tier is where the strongest units in the game belong. Players will want to own these heroes in their teams as they provide so much value with their innate power.
-
Lu Bu
Lu Bu is known historically as one of the mightiest warriors to have ever lived and that translates well to his character in Dynasty Legends 2. In the game, he is one of the strongest characters available with ridiculously high offensive stats that make him one of the best clearers in the game. He is only one of two characters in the game with an aptitude of 22.
Lu Bu is a relentless berserker that deals heavy damage and can take heavy damage in return. His defensive stats are relatively high but his innate ability to drain HP from his enemies makes him a true juggernaut in battle. Out of all the heroes in the game, Lu Bu is only one of two officers that have 5 passive abilities, making him naturally better than all the other options in the game by a long shot.
-
Zhou Yu
Zhou Yu is another powerful hero in Dynasty Legends 2, known for having a more graceful approach to battle. He is the only other hero in this game to have an aptitude of 22 and get 5 passive abilities in his kit. Compared to Lu Bu’s more dynamic approach, Zhou Yu is a lot more balanced, focusing more on control rather than damage. That is not to say that his damage is weak, but it is definitely not close compared to Lu Bu.
Zhou Yu is a mage. This means that he relies on using his abilities to deal damage to his enemies and inflict impactful debuffs that make it difficult for the enemy team to do what they want. He also has a defensive kit, that makes him very difficult to take down. He is an officer that players will want, especially in the PvP arenas where his true value shines.
A Tier
The A Tier is where the most powerful heroes belong within the aptitude 20 category. These heroes are often overlooked simply because the first two units are naturally better in terms of stats and abilities but a team is not built by only two heroes and these units will definitely be worth considering.
-
Pang Tong
Pang Tong is a ranged artillery unit that deals heavy damage from a safe distance, making him a very powerful officer in PvP and PvE, especially if the enemy has abilities that rely on proximity. Pang Tong’s damage output is second only to Lu Bu, but the fact that he can inflict a lot of damage from a safe distance means a lot, especially since he’s not reliant on casting skills and abilities.
He may have weak defensive capabilities and offers almost no utility at all, but as a pure damage hero, he is one of the most powerful officers in the game. Unless you’re playing the game purely using the auto-combat mode, Pang Tong is a unit that will help you defeat powerful opponents since he translates skill expression very well into his gameplay.
-
Guo Jia
Guo Jia is one of the most annoying officers to fight against in Dynasty Legends 2. This officer specializes in debuffs and disruptions to make it almost impossible for the enemy to move around freely and unlock their full power during a fight. If that wasn’t bad enough, he also deals a ridiculous amount of damage and can heal off damage dealt to make him last longer in a fight.
Despite being extremely hard to kill, Guo Jia’s weakness is when an enemy manages to close the distance and prevent him from casting his abilities. Guo Jia is extremely reliant on his abilities and can fall flat if he isn’t able to establish a safe distance. If it wasn’t for that one glaring weakness, Guo Jia would have been the best officer in Dynasty Legends 2 off of being such a menace in combat.
B Tier
The B Tier is where heroes that are often overlooked are placed. These heroes don’t have powerful stats but their abilities make it worth considering adding them to the team. They may not be the best at what they do, but they can prove to be valuable in the right situation.
-
Guan Yu
Guan Yu is a powerful front-line hero that acts somewhat like a tank. He may not have incredible stats in offense, but his true value lies in his incredible disruptive power that makes interrupts enemies when they are trying to cast spells or are trying to close the distance between your team and theirs.
He deals a good amount of damage despite being an officer whose stats are balanced all around. Players who are lacking a solid frontline may want to add Guan Yu into their ranks so that their allies can take a break as this officer buys time for the squad.
-
Diaochan
Diaochan is another disruptive mage that is often considered a budget version of Guo Jia. She has the same strengths as Guo Jia with the only exception that she doesn’t have any self-healing abilities that make her last longer in combat. Instead, she compensates by having a very high damage output overall.
Diaochan is worth adding to the team if the player is looking for a mage that can sweep enemies quickly as they move around the map. Her graceful character design makes it relaxing to watch her annihilate hordes of enemy troops as she dances around the battlefield.
