Seele Active and Passive Skills
Seele is a 5-Star Quantum elemental character that is following the Path of Hunt. Seele is the first character to have a rate-up warp banner and for obvious reasons. Her abilities scream must have and must pull! She is a versatile DPS character that can increase her own speed while entering a “Buffed State”. She can go on a rampage by herself, as she gets an extra turn whenever she defeats an enemy with any of her abilities. Her Buffed State buff also allows her to gain more damage, easing the restrictions that many new players face in the early game when they do not have good gear to equip DPS characters with.
Players can recruit Seele through getting lucky on the Normal Warp Banner or the Rate-Up Warp Banner as of now. Seele’s official in-game lore states as follows – “A spirited and valiant member of Wildfire who grew up in the perilous Underworld of Belobog. She is accustomed to being on her own. As someone who once relied on others for protection, she now pursues strength. For the truth of the underground and her family’s name, Seele can endure any kind of adversity. The protectors and the protected, the oppressors and the oppressed… The world Seele grew up knowing was just a simple dichotomy…That is, until that young girl appeared.”
Here is a list of Seele’s skills: –
Thwack (Basic Ability)
Deals Quantum DMG equal to 50/100/110% of Seele’s ATK to a single enemy.
Sheathed Blade (Active Ability)
Increases Seele’s SPD by 25% for 2 turn(s) and deals Quantum DMG equal to 110/220/242% of Seele’s ATK to a single enemy.
Butterfly Flurry (Ultimate Ability)
Seele enters the buffed state and deals Quantum DMG equal to 255/425/442% of Seele’s ATK to a single enemy.
Resurgence (Talent Ability)
Enters the buffed state upon defeating an enemy with Basic ATK, Skill, or Ultimate, and receives an extra turn. While in the buffed state, the DMG of Seele’s attacks increases by 40/80/88% for 1 turn(s). Enemies defeated in the extra turn provided by “Resurgence” will not trigger another “Resurgence.”
Phantom Illusion (Technique)
After using her Technique, Seele gains Stealth for 20 second(s). While Stealth is active, Seele cannot be detected by enemies. And when entering battle by attacking enemies, Seele will immediately enter the buffed state.
Seele’s Traces
Traces are like special abilities associated with a hero. The character needs to be ascended in order to maximize the use of their Traces. At different ascension, traces can be upgraded. While some are major upgrades that enhance the abilities themselves, others are minor traces that provide stat boosts. Traces are of the following types:
-
-

Seele Eidolon Bonuses
Players who have played Genshin Impact might be familiar with the Constellation system where the characters acquire different abilities when you feed their duplicate copies into them. Honkai: Star Rail has a similar system but it’s named “Eidolon” in the official in-game terminology. Whenever you summon a duplicate character in the Warp system, they will be converted into an Eidolon for the character. Eidolon can be enhanced up to 6 times at maximum. Each enhancement provides an upgraded ability or add-on effect to existing abilities. The 3rd and the 5th Eidolon enhancements always add base stat and ultimate ability boosts, respectively.
Here are the different Eidolon advancements for Seele:
Extirpating Slash (Eidolon Level 1)
When dealing DMG to an enemy whose HP percentage is 80% or lower, CRIT Rate increases by 15%.
Dancing Butterfly (Eidolon Level 2)
The SPD Boost effect of Seele’s Skill can stack up to 2 time(s).

After Seele uses her Ultimate, inflict the target enemy with Butterfly Flurry for 1 turn(s). Enemies suffering from Butterfly Flurry will take Additional Quantum DMG equal to 15% of Seele’s Ultimate DMG every time they are attacked. If the target enemy is defeated by the Butterfly Flurry DMG triggered by other allies’ attacks, Seele’s Talent will not be triggered. When Seele is knocked down, the Butterfly Flurry inflicted on the enemies will be removed.
