You are reincarnated as the Human God in another world where a virus is making girls go gradually insane. Under your command, they appear normal and can’t get infected. Tip #1. Progress the Main Story Mode

One of the most important aspects of progressing fast in Horizon Walker is determining how far you can reach in the main story game mode. This mode becomes available to all players once they finish the tutorial. Players can set up a squad of their 5 strongest Vanguards and progress through the different stages. Keep in mind, you will face multiple different kinds of enemies with unique mechanics. Strategize effectively and beat them to secure mission objectives. The main story chapters have 2 difficulties – Easy and Hard. Try to first clear stages on easy difficulty before entering the Hard mode.  

All adventure mode stages are divided into 2 types – Story stage and Combat stage. The former only features the ongoing storyline advancement, while the latter features tactical combat missions. These missions also have 3 objectives assigned to them, completing which will grant you more premium currency. Players can get additional rewards based on how many stars they have achieved in chapter. 

Tip #2. Complete the Starter Missions 

Starter missions are a boon for new players starting out in Horizon Walker. This event lasts for a total of 30 days after your account creation. The event is divided into 7 days, with each day opening up in 24 hours after account creation. Players can complete the different missions listed alongside each day to get access to amazing rewards. For example, you can Fairynet multi-search tickets for completing these missions. You can also get various Vanguard growth related materials to empower them and increase their efficiency in battles. Many of the missions in this event are simple to complete and offer lucrative rewards. It also provided players with a basic guideline on what areas they need to focus on. 

Tip #3. Enhance Devotion Level to Claim Bonus AFK Rewards

Horizon Walker takes inspiration from several Idle games, and it can be evidently seen in the combat system. It also takes some of the better aspects of such games, and we are talking about idle rewards. These rewards accumulate over time on their own even while you’re offline or AFK. The quantity and quality of these freebies are directly proportional to the progress you’ve achieved in improving your Human God (main character) and Devotion level. Devotion level refers to your account level. Ensure you’re claiming these rewards on a daily basis as they can only store up to 24 hours worth of resources. 

Tip #4. Focus on Getting Stronger Vanguards

Characters in Horizon Walker are officially called “Vanguards”. These beings from an alternate universe boast powerful active and passive abilities that can be used to conquer enemies in combat. Vanguards come in different rarities, with the highest being EX, and the lowest being B. Players can recruit strong vanguards from the Fairynet gacha system. Ensure you’re using the strongest Vanguards or else you will slowly get power crept in the main story stages. New players are guaranteed to get an EX tier Vanguard early on within 50 summons. You can get these resources easily by completing events, missions, and redeeming codes.  

Tip #5. Participate in Events!

This tip might feel out of place for gamers but Horizon Walker is a live-service title that runs events constantly to give out free resources. While many of the events are simple, login-based reward programs, others can be more complex featuring a list of tasks to complete. If you’re a free-to-play player, these events are your best shot at getting access to premium resources like Extercium and Gold coins in abundance. Make sure to follow the game’s official social media handles like Discord to be aware when such events are running.
