A Beginner's Guide To Playing Hunting Clash
Hunting Clash uses a lot of elements for the sake of progression that keep the interest of the players alive for extended durations. The problem is that these elements can get really confusing since there isn’t much of a tutorial that covers what players need to pay attention to or collect. Blindly playing the game could help you progress faster, but if you want to understand what you’re doing, you’ll need to follow a specific direction to do this. Bonus: doing so will help you advance to higher levels more quickly.
The game is relatively fast-paced because of the different ways that players can level-up and unlock new regions and challenges. There are limitations that balance out this pace, especially when the player gets to a certain rank or level. Knowing what you can do to get around these limitations can boost your progress and help you reach the top and unlock new content in a shorter period of time. Here are some things you need to keep in mind when playing Hunting Clash.
Practicing Precision
Precision is an important factor that beginners need to learn immediately. To attain a higher precision, the hunter needs to shoot the animal’s heart. Headshots or Lung shots don’t count in this game, unlike in other hunter games that you might have played before. Different animals have differently sized hearts; ironically, smaller animals are easier to get perfect precision shots since their small bodies don’t have much room to miss their heart.
However, shooting an animal’s heart is easier said than done. Hunter Clash has incorporated realistic elements to the creatures, such as movement and behavior. Animals will not stand still, waiting for you to shoot at them. These animals will often be walking around or moving their bodies constantly to make it a challenge for you to get a clean shot. Practicing to shoot moving animals is the biggest factor in attaining success.
Collecting Lure Cards
Collecting Lure Cards is probably the single most important part of playing the game and being able to move forward. Lure cards are used to increase the chances of a specific animal appearing. It also upgrades the value of a kill towards that animal during hunts, which increases the points you earn once you take it down. Not having a lure card of a specific animal makes the appearance rate of that creature extremely low, almost never appearing during hunts for objectives.
Lure cards are sorted by rarity. Common is the lowest form of rarity and is the easiest type of lure card to collect, while Mythic cards can be extremely difficult to come by. You’ll need to collect at least one lure card of every animal in a region, but you’ll need multiple copies of a single card to upgrade them. Upgrading cards increases the animal’s secondary stats like weight, value, and appearance rate. In addition, cards with higher rarity are much more expensive to upgrade than common ones.
The importance of Lure Cards lies in the fact that they’re used for pretty much everything in the game. There are two important game modes that require that you have a diverse set of Lure Cards – Championships and Duels. Increasing your points to climb up the rankings requires you to hunt a specific set of animals. If you’re not able to hunt a specific animal, you lose out on a couple hundred points, which will significantly affect your standings and your chance for victory.
Participate in the Championship
The Championship is a daily event that groups a set of players together to compete in a mini hunting game. In the championships, the players will be given a set of animals that they need to hunt. Those animals will correspond to specific point values, and the top three players that accumulate the most points will win rewards.
It’s important to keep in mind that the value of each animal depends on the highest quality of the animal hunted and not on the number of times you managed to take it down. It’s important to participate in these events because the rewards give you a decent amount of currency and the chance to earn more lure cards. The higher your standing is in the championship, the more likely you’ll be able to get Mythic lure cards or other prizes.
Upgrading Your Weapon
The hunter’s rifle is his trusted companion in his journey towards striving to be the top hunter in the server. You can upgrade your weapon using hunter coins or gold coins. The hunter coins allow you to unlock specific upgrades such as animal quality and rifle precision. These are important to ensure that you’ll collect more points when participating in hunts.
The gold coins allow the hunter to roll for a stat upgrade once it has been unlocked by the hunter coin. Rolling doesn’t mean a guaranteed upgrade, rather, it will randomly allot a value that might be lower or higher than the current value of your weapon upgrade. This feature is highly luck-dependent, and getting gold coins isn’t as easy as collecting other currencies in the game. Regardless, it’s important for you to keep trying to upgrade to achieve a greater result.
Use Power-Ups
Below your currency indicators, you’ll see power-up icons which you can activate to gain some benefits on your next hunt. The game will be handing out boatloads of these power-ups, so there’s no need to worry about getting zeroed out. Use these power-ups during Duels or Championship hunts to increase the points you gain and increase your overall chance of winning or at least making it as high into the rankings as possible.
You’ll gain power-ups as rewards for almost everything; as long as you know which power-up you need for your hunt, you’ll be able to win almost anything you enter. Just make sure that you don’t use power-ups when attempting to practice, or else you’ll end up burning all of your power-ups before you even get a chance to compete in something important. These will also help you get a higher personal record for the animals you hunt.
