Idle Mafia - Tycoon Manager: The Best Tips and Tricks to Develop Your Mafia Empire
Even though it’s a casual game meant to be played mostly automatically, Idle Mafia has several interesting features that can be optimized in order to speed up your progress through this management game. Things like automating your production of cash, fighting against the Razor Gang’s forces, or investing resources on upgrading your Capos all take some tending to, especially as you complete levels and make your way towards tougher challenges.
Games like these are the type that grind to a halt whenever you reach a difficult part if you haven’t been preparing accordingly, which is exactly what we aim to remedy in this guide. In the following paragraphs, you will find the best tips and tricks for Idle Mafia, which will help you to optimize your production and stay ahead of the competition at all times.
1. Take the Automation Even Further With BlueStacks
As we mentioned just now, Idle Mafia is a game designed to be played mostly automatically, with minimal attention. However, even with all your features unlocked, you’d still need to keep the app open in order to claim your money and upgrade your buildings, which sort of defeats the purpose of the game’s design, especially if you want to proceed rapidly through the levels. In this sense, this game offers a mostly automated experience but still requires you to log in frequently in order to progress.
If only there were a better way to benefit from this automation without having to pull out your phone every few seconds… Oh wait; there is!
It’s almost like Idle Mafia was designed to be played perfectly on PC with an emulator like BlueStacks as, when making use of the automatic farming, you can simply minimize the emulator to the background while you focus on something else, and come back to the game every few minutes to check up on your progress. Playing it in this way allows you to optimize your experience as you will never lose any time closing nor minimizing the app on your phone.
If we add the BlueStacks Macro Recorder to the mix, we take the automation even further as you won’t even need to upgrade your buildings nor claim your money manually. Instead, you can record a macro and have our emulator do it for you. This can help you significantly when it comes to farming money; you can literally just leave the game open with a macro running, and come back to find your buildings maxed out for the current level, producing trillions of cash every few seconds.
2. Remember to Assign Your Capos
Money is a very important resource in Idle Mafia. Regardless of the stage’s current objectives, odds are that you will need a considerable sum of cash in order to proceed.
Of course, money is only useful if it’s in your pocket and not sitting in your buildings unclaimed. Furthermore, your production is only significant if you can automate it so you don’t have to click on your buildings manually all the time to have them work and generate cash. This is where your Capos come in as, by assigning them to your buildings, they will start to automate the production of the corresponding building and generate money without you having to click automatically every few seconds. Just remember to click on your unclaimed money every now and then to add it to your bank in order to purchase upgrades and other goodies.
3. Use the Right Capos in Combat
However, your Capos in Idle Mafia are useful for more than just producing money. In fact, some of these mobsters have special abilities that only work in combat, and which significantly increases their damage output on the battlefield. These are the Capos that you’ll want to use in combat as they will significantly improve your odds of success, especially if you level them up and upgrade their skills.
Play Idle Mafia on PC
For instance, of the six Capos we have unlocked so far, only Gianluca has combat skills that allow him to deal lots of damage to a single enemy, as well as to hurt the entire opposing team for a flat amount. While most Capos only have trade skills that help to improve your production in several ways, the ones that have combat skills are the best suited for fighting, and you will benefit greatly from improving them and sending them out to the field, which brings us to our next point.
4. Claim Your AFK Rewards and Complete the Combat Stages
A Capo is only as good as his or her level. While they may offer important skills in combat, these are ineffective if your characters are underleveled and outgunned by the enemy. However, in order to upgrade them, you will need to use Cigars, which is a type of currency in Idle Mafia obtained mostly through the combat stages. If you want to keep your characters upgraded, you will need to continuously farm Cigars through combat.
Luckily, this game also has an AFK farming system in place where your Capos continue fighting, even while you’re offline, and collecting Cigars for you. You can find both the combat stages and your stash of Cigars, in the “Fight” menu. Just remember that, just like with the cash produced in your buildings, your Cigars are useless if you don’t claim them. Furthermore, your AFK farming timer caps out at a maximum of 30 minutes per Capo. In our case, since we have 6 Capos unlocked, we can AFK farm for 3 hours.
Remember to check up on your Capos often in order to claim your Cigars and keep your units upgraded.
5. Work on Your Stage Objectives
Once you’re caught up with upgrading your Capos, and you have plenty of cash in your bank, it’s time to work through the mission objectives in order to proceed to the next stage. These tasks are quite straightforward and usually consist of taking a building, collecting a certain amount of cash, or other simple challenges. If you’ve been following our tips and have been using BlueStacks to improve your farming, then you probably have tons of money by the time you actually attempt to complete the stage.
Keep in mind, however, that your cash doesn’t transfer over to the next stage. While it’s awesome to see your money rise to the trillions, it’s sadly ineffectual in the big picture. Instead of farming excessively, it’s best to simply complete the objectives and move on.
With the tips and tricks we’ve shared in this guide, you’re more than ready to take New York City back from the Razor Gang in Idle Mafia, and establish the Hammer Gang as the most powerful organization in the city!
