Hero Blaze: Three Kingdoms Tier List with the Best Generals in the Game
Hero Blaze: Three Kingdoms is a brand new play to earn gacha RPG that, despite featuring some of the mechanics that are commonplace in this genre, such as a vast repertoire of unlockable and upgradable characters, also offers an excellent combat system revolving around bullet hell and shoot ‘em up segments where players must dodge the incoming onslaught of projectiles and enemies, while clearing wave after wave of opponents using their barrage of missiles.
As is the case with most of these games, however, your success in Hero Blaze will depend heavily on the heroes that are in your team. In other words, the better your roster, the better your odds. However, in a game where there are over 300 generals to unlock, how can we know which are the best, and which are better to avoid? In this Hero Blaze tier list, we’re going to share a list with our personal picks for best heroes in this game, so that you can get an idea of what to look for.
Particularly if you’re thinking about rerolling in Hero Blaze: Three Kingdoms, keep the following characters in mind.
S Tier
These are the characters that can easily carry your team to victory. And though the best choice of general for any given occasion will depend heavily on the type of enemy formation you’re going up against, these are the best characters in their respective categories, whether you’re looking for rapid types, penetration types, or explosive types, these are the characters that you’ll want to aim for if you’re rerolling in Hero Blaze: Three Kingdoms.
- Awoken Guan Yu (7-Star, Shu, Penetration Type)
- Vengeful Zhang Bao (7-Star, Shu, Explosive Type)
- King of Wei Cao Pi (7-Star, Wei, Rapid Fire Type)
-
King of Wei Cao Cao (7-Star, Wei, Penetration Type)
A Tier
Though not quite as strong as their S tier counterparts, these characters are not as rare, and are therefore easier to unlock from the gacha, while offering comparatively decent performance. You can go a long way with one or two of these in your team.
- Zhao Yun of Changshan (6-Star, Shu, Penetration Type)
- Dawn Zhuge Liang (5-Star, Shu, Rapid Fire Type)
- Zhang Fei of War (5-Star, Shu, Explosive Type)
-

B Tier
The heroes in this tier aren’t great, but they’re not bad either. As such, these will be the ones that will make up most of your roster, since they’re the most common and prevalent. Nevertheless, you’ll definitely want to swap them out as soon as you unlock better generals.
- Commanding Liu Bei (5-Star, Shu, Rapid Fire Type)
- White Dragon Guan Yu (5-Star, Shu, Penetration Type)
- Da Qiao Under the Moon (5-Star, Wu, Rapid Fire Type)
-
Unyielding Sun Jian (5-Star, Wu, Rapid Fire Type)
C Tier
These are the characters that you’ll always want to avoid, either because they’re weak, or because they don’t conform to the current meta. As such, you’ll never want these on your squad.
-
Greedy Dong Zhuo (5-Star, WH, Rapid Fire Type)
- Swift Pei Yuanshao (5-Star, WH, Penetration Type)
- Tough Gao Shun (5-Star, WH, Penetration Type)
