Having a clear understanding of each of these systems will ensure a steady pace of progression and a clear mind on how to proceed on your adventures as a beginner.
Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics
The core gameplay mechanics of Kingdom Heroes – Tactics are quite easy to understand but tough to replicate as each account is different in their own right. The combat mechanics demonstrate a real-time strategic battle environment to the player, where each player can make up their formations of troops and a leading hero to command them. Once on the battlefield, the player themselves have little to no control over their troops and can only rely on the power level difference between their formation and the enemies for a chance at victory. Naturally, some other factors are also taken into account, such as the type of troops you are using and the quantity of troops deployed.
The game also does a fairly good job at providing consistent stream of rewards to players by showering them with multiple resources. To be fair to the players, Kingdom Heroes – Tactics requires a hefty consumption of them to upgrade their resource buildings and military bases. Yes, you guessed it! Players can experience a full city-builder experience inside the game, adding on to the layer of PvE-oriented game modes. For PvP lovers, there are little to no game modes outside of the Alliance War.

The summoning building, called “Observatory” can be accessed from anywhere in the game. Players can check out the different available banners that offer different rarities of heroes and their shards. Keep in mind that each hero is assigned a specific role and base rarity. The higher the rarity of the hero, the lower the probabilities to summon their shards.
