Best King of Fighters: Survival City Tier List
As an interesting mix of conquest strategy game with gacha RPG, there’s a lot of variety to be had in KoF: Survival City. This title is similar to others like State of Survival, in that you have to split your time between building your settlement and exploring the ruined buildings filled with afflicted and enemy soldiers. As such, you’ll not only have to upgrade and manage your roster of fighters, but you’ll also have to slowly build up your armies and train the troops that your fighters will be leading into open battle on the field.
However, before you jump into upgrading your fighters, you first need to know which ones are worth upgrading, and which are better off leaving on the bench. After all, upgrade materials are rare and require a lot of grinding to farm and keep them in stock. In this sense, you’ll only want to upgrade the ones that are worth it, which is exactly where this tier list comes in.
In this article, we’ll be sharing our list of the best King of Fighters: Survival City, so that you know which ones to use, and which ones to leave behind.
Let’s begin!
A Note on Rerolling in King of Fighters: Survival City
It’s common in most gacha RPGs out there for games to want to unlock the best and most powerful characters as early as possible. Sadly, in the vast majority of cases, we seldom have any control over what we get from the gacha, as each pull is completely randomized. As such, the only way to obtain the best characters quickly is either to be exceedingly lucky, or to perform fast pulls in quick succession. And while we can’t do anything for the former, there are ways to game the system so that we can perform countless summonings from the beginning, which is exactly the objective of rerolling.
In a nutshell, the process of rerolling revolves around starting a new game, progressing until you gain access to the first free summonings, and then restarting as many times as necessary until you get the characters that you want. This exact process is repetitive and tedious, and varies from game to game. And depending on the title in question, the process can be either very short or long per cycle, as some games require you to advance varying lengths into the story in order to access the summoning feature.
For King of Fighters: Survival City, while it’s technically possible to reroll, we really can’t recommend it since it takes a very long time to unlock the summoning feature. Nevertheless, the most committed players will definitely still want to try their hand at this process, which is why we prepared a separate King of Fighters: Survival City reroll guide. Feel free to check it out if you wish to learn more about this process.
Additionally, if you’re thinking of rerolling in this game, keep in mind that you can play King of Fighters: Survival City on PC with BlueStacks to gain access to tools that will help speed up the reroll process, mainly by letting you do so on multiple accounts at the same time. King of Fighters: Survival City Tier List
Now that we know how to unlock the best Survival City fighters from the beginning, let’s go ahead and dive into the tier list.
S Tier
Those who have already read our tier lists in the past know that this tier corresponds to the strongest characters in their respective games, and King of Fighters: Survival City is no exception. These are the characters that you’ll always want on your squad, mostly due to their high stats and powerful skill sets. If you’re rerolling in Survival City, these are the ones you should aim for.
- Terry Bogard
- Kula Diamond
- Mai Shiranui
- K’
- Maxima
A Tier
Arguably almost as strong as their S tier counterparts, these characters are also good candidates for upgrading and keeping in your squad. However, they might need a good team composition and strategy in order to unleash their maximum potential. Suffice to say, if you can’t unlock any S tier characters, these are also a good choice.
- Kyo Kusanagi
- Ralf Jones
- Iori Yagami
- Benimaru Nikaido
- Yuri Sakazaki
B Tier
These are the more average characters that are neither good nor bad, and that you’ll find commonly throughout your time in this game. Though they’re not bad, you’ll want to replace them as soon as you manage to recruit better fighters.
- King
- Robert Garcia
- Clark Still
- Chang Koehan
- Sie Kensou
C Tier
This tier corresponds to those characters you’ll want to avoid at all costs. Either because their stats are quite low, or because they’re skill sets are lackluster, this tier will help to illustrate the fighters you won’t want.
- Andy Bogard
- Chin Gentsai
And with that, you should have a good idea of what are the best characters in King of Fighters: Survival City. Feel free to share your own tier lists and suggestions in the comments below!
