This guide will delve into the strengths, skills, builds, and strategies that will help you maximize your potential as an Archer in the game. Our Class Guide will help you choose the best class for your playstyle, detailing strengths and weaknesses of each option.
Levelling Options for Archers
Gaining experience points in Legend of Mushroom is required to advance to new levels. At levels 15, 30, 50, 70, and 100, you can choose which character type to employ next. When your adventurer level reaches 30, you have the option of selecting the Archer class. You can select from the following subclasses in the subsequent levels:
Level 50: Shadow Sniper or Wind Crossbower
Level 70: Sharpshooter or Dual Crossbower
Level 100: Shadow Hunter or Arrowgod
Awaken: Sacred Hunter or Plume Monarch
Archer Class
Mages are one of the only classes to possess both long-range attacking capabilities on top of crowd-control abilities. They can also shift their focus into acting like healers, depending on the Job you take. Much like other classes, Mages are further divided into different categories at different levels like we mentioned before.
At Level 50, Archers can be divided into:

- Dual Crossbower – Summons a sunflower, dealing 1712% AOE Damage and reducing combo damage resistance of targets within the range by 40%, lasting for 5 seconds.
At Level 100, Archers can be divided into:
- Shadow Hunter – Summons a sunflower, dealing 1712% AOE Damage and reducing combo damage resistance of targets within the range by 40%, lasting for 5 seconds.
- Arrowgod – Summons a sunflower, dealing 1712% AOE Damage and reducing combo damage resistance of targets within the range by 40%, lasting for 5 seconds.

Best Skills for the Archer Class
In this section, we’ll learn more about the many skills that Archers can choose from. Keep in mind that the skills we’ve chosen are just a few of many available, and you can tailor them to your preferred playstyle. We have emphasized on a more balanced playstyle in which you can supplement your damage-dealing abilities with defensive improvements. Check out the skills used in our Archer build:
- Thorn Thicket is effective for delaying the opponent. This technique works nicely with snails as your Pal.
- Speed Surge is a good skill for increasing your attack speed; it pairs nicely with an attack speed bonus friend.
- Shroom Shield is an excellent talent to utilize as extra defense until you unlock Clone Strike. Shroom shield fits great with the Energy Statue.
- Nature’s Renewal is especially useful in stages since it regenerates 30% of your maximum HP; it also works well with the Energy Statue to do additional damage. If this skill isn’t performing well for Bosses, consider altering it to Coin Bomb*.
- Coin Bomb is useful for dealing the extra damage required to defeat the boss.
- Take it slow is effective against both stage mobs and bosses because it reduces the opponent’s attack speed. If you’ve previously debuffed to slow them before they arrive, this is a useful skill to have.
Best Pals for Archers Class
You can choose cute small critters to assist you in combat, just like you can with your character’s equipment. These are known as “Pals”. For archers, we strongly recommend employing Pals to boost your overall damage output. Here are the Pal recommendations:
- Thorn Thicket (PVE)
- Speed Surge (PVE/PVP)
- Hero Bird (PVE/PVP)
- Hydrosprite (PVE and PVP)
- Snail (PVE)
Playing Legend of Mushroom on a bigger screen of your PC or Laptop with BlueStacks is highly recommended.
