Have you started to play Lords and Tactics on BlueStacks recently? There are times when new players struggle to play the game because of all the overwhelmingly new mechanics dumped on their plate, making it hard to keep up with, especially if they have no experience playing other games from the same genre before. That’s why we’ve prepared a list of tips and tricks that will help beginners get a better idea of the most important things they need to prioritize early on.
Lords and Tactics is a real-time strategy game with a heavy focus on PvP. Most of the time, players don’t realize that the PvP feature of the game can heavily punish them for having a slow or unideal start. It’s easy for players to simply quit the game rather than rebuild a fallen kingdom. That’s why we’ve prepared some guides to help players get the best possible start. Taking Advantage of Speedups
Speedups are probably one of the most important items that you can get in Lords and Tactics. As the name suggests, these items allow the player to reduce the amount of time needed for an action such as the construction or upgrade of a building, training new troops, and researching new technology. Players get speedups as a reward for completing various tasks like completing quests or attacking NPCs on the world map. During the early stages of the game, there is an abundance of these items that players can get.
Players need to use all their speedups during the early stages of the game to accelerate their kingdom’s progress. This means using it on all the low countdown timers as well as the ones that take hours to complete. Players will want to do this because being able to have all the upgraded buildings early in their gameplay will ensure that their kingdom will reach a desirable point of being self-sufficient since all of the structures are high enough level that they’ll be maximizing their tasks.
Maximizing Actions
Maximize the number of actions you do whenever you play the game. This means that doing as many tasks as possible and efficiently spacing them so that you’re able to accomplish a lot of things despite playing for a short amount of time. A lot of top players in the game also have busy lives but they are able to maintain their standing by managing their time well. The next time you play the game, try to do everything such as upgrading buildings, training new troops, researching, and sending your army out to collect resources.
It’s good to maximize the number of tasks that you accomplish per gameplay session but make sure to set a priority list that will allow your kingdom to grow efficiently. Resources are scarce in the game and once you start out your gameplay session by doing the expensive tasks first, you might end up not having enough resources to spend on other stuff that you need to accomplish. You don’t have to rush the game but being able to manage your tasks will accelerate your progression very quickly.
Start Collecting Heroes
Powerful heroes are a central part of playing Lords and Tactics. Players need to have a collection of heroes in their kingdom with a heavy emphasis on Legendary characters since those have the best stats in the game. We discussed in our Hero Tier List the units that players may want to have in their kingdom so it’s a good idea to check that out if you have no idea what you want to get in this game. After all, the game features such a wide variety that it may be difficult to differentiate each of them accordingly.
Lords and Tactics feature a gacha system where players can randomly acquire different characters or character shards that will allow them to unlock new characters that will lead their armies or be used to fight in the arena. Players may want to save up their tickets and the premium currency that the game gives for the “Recruit 10x” option. Using the “Recruit 10x” option significantly increases the chances of getting a legendary hero so make sure to do that instead of recruiting one at a time.
Completing Daily Tasks
Completing daily tasks is probably one of the more obvious tips on this list but we can’t stress enough how important it is for players to do these. Many players don’t really give heavy emphasis on daily tasks such as daily quests since they believe that it is an optional part of their playthrough that has very small rewards not worth noting. However, this can’t be more false in Lords and Tactics because the rewards are really great, especially if you’re just starting out.

The best way to acquire those is by completing missions and quests in the game, which the daily mission tab provides for players. The daily quests aren’t that hard to complete and they fall along your usual tasks anyway so it shouldn’t prove to be a hassle for players to accomplish them.
Join a Powerful Legion
Legions in Lords and Tactics are the equivalent of guilds or alliances in other RPGs. In the real-time strategy genre, alliances are the most powerful weapon that a player can have. That means that joining a legion as soon as possible should be one of your priorities. This is because having an alliance with strong players means that you can rely on them when it comes to military endeavors in both offense and defense.
As a new player, you should scout out your surroundings to see what the popular legions are. This is important because it allows you to determine if you have potential threats or allies in your surrounding area. It’s always a good idea to join the most common legion in your area as it bolsters your geographical advantage in combat.
