After announcing that pre-registrations are open, the developers behind N-Innocence- are ready to take the game global after planning a launch in Japan first. Developed and produced by Japan based game giant Asobimo, INC, N-Innocence- looks to be disrupting the ARPG (Action RPG) genre with its state-of-the-art graphics and anime-stylized art style. Combined with the touch and tap controls that make the game’s playability quite pleasant and smooth, N-Innocence- looks quite promising. Players will be able to download and install N-Innocence- as a free-to-play title on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. On the most recent updates, N-Innocence- has just concluded their first ever English open beta test in Canada. The Japanese version of the game will also be undergoing a soft launch soon. For release date, the official social media handles have hinted for an April 2023 release.

N-Innocence- is a gacha game at the core that makes use of the innate gachapon mechanics that we all love and hate at the same time. Different rarities of characters are available at different probabilities via the summoning system of the game. Just like any other gacha game, the higher the rarity of the character, the better it performs in-game generally due to having better base stats as well as abilities. Similarly, the higher the rarity of the character, the lower will be the probability to summon them. Vice versa, the lower the rarity of the character, the higher will be the probability to summon them. N-Innocence- is notorious for having both banners for equipment and characters separately while also having an innately mixed gacha. The probabilities for acquiring new characters are as follows:

• 3-Star characters – 2% total (1% for rate-up character)
• 2-Star characters – 8% chance of being obtained
• 1-Star characters – 30% chance of being obtained
• SR Equipment – 30% chance of being obtained
• R Equipment – 30% chance of being obtained

In this tier list for N-Innocence-, we will be ranking the best characters at the time of soft launch while taking several factors into consideration. We will also be taking into account the skills and abilities of each character in different PvP and PvE game modes present in N-Innocence-. The base rarity and availability of the character will also play an important role in determining their ranking on the tier list. As with any tier list, nothing is set in stone and it’s just to be used as a reference point of view for the player as not all players have access to the same characters. Remember that synergy is always greater than just raw stats. Players should take inspiration from this tier list while building their ideal team. 

S Tier Characters

FAFNIR

Fafnir is a 3-Star character that is listed as a Bruiser in-game. Fafnir is currently the best prospect for any player deciding to re-roll as not only he deals a good amount of damage but he can also heal himself by attacking and converting the excess heal into attack power buffs. Fafnir’s 3rd active ability Violence Viper states the following – “Deals 180% HP damage and 360% BP damage of ATK to the target, and heals 2% of the HP damage inflicted. In Miasma Mode, Inflicts 280% HP damage of ATK, a total of 560% BP damage, and absorbs 2% HP of HP damage.” His 2nd active ability Curse Damnation states the following – “Hits 120% HP damage and 240% BP damage of ATK to the target, and heals 1% of the HP damage inflicted. In Miasma Mode, inflicts 170% HP damage of ATK, a total of 340% BP damage, and absorbs 1% HP of HP damage.” Fafnir’s passive ability Soul Resonation does as follows – “This is the divine power of Fafnir. For 20 seconds, it enters “miasma mode” that absorbs 1% of the total HP from nearby objects.”. 

APOLLON

Apollon is a 3-Star character that is classified as a DPS type in-game. Apollon plays out from a medium-high range and works well against dealing with multiple enemies. Apollon is often regarded as one of the best farmers in game due to his multi-hitting large-scale AOE abilities. Apollon isn’t essentially a 1-shot type character that can burst enemies but more of a continuous DPS type character that launches barrages of attacks at enemies. Apollo’s 3rd active ability Blazing Halo states the following – “It deals a total of 140% HP damage and a total of 280% BP damage to the target.” Apollo’s 2nd active ability White Knight states the following – “Deals a total of 90% HP damage and a total of 180% BP damage to the target”. His 1st active ability Sunrise Emitter does as follow – “This skill deals a total of 90% HP damage and a total of 180% BP damage to the target.” Apollo’s ultimate ability Perfect Sublimination does as follow – “It deals a total of 472.5% HP damage and a total of 235.1% BP damage to a wide range of forward targets.”

SCHWERTLEITE

Schwertleite is a 3-Star character that is classified as a DPS type in-game. Schwetleite is often regarded as the queen of additional hits and can assist many characters in dealing bonus damage with multiple combo hits. Schwetleite’s 1st active ability Knife of Abyss states the following – “Deals 90% HP damage and 180% BP damage of ATK to the target. When derived from Saber of Mirage additional attack deals 45% HP damage and 90% BP damage to the target.” Her 2nd active ability Sting of Nightmare states the following – “It deals 90% HP damage and 180% BP damage of ATK to the target. When derived from Saber of Mirage additional attack deals 45% HP damage and 90% BP damage to the target.” Schwetleite’s 3rd active ability Edge of Void does as follow – “Deals 140% HP damage and 280% BP damage of ATK to the target. When derived from Saber of Mirage additional attack deals 70% HP damage and 140% BP damage to the target.”

THOR

Thor is a 3-Star character that is classified as a DPS type in-game. Thor has one of the highest base Attack in the game along with possessing a very high range of attacking. Thor has a unique passive that allows her to gain more attack power, the more time she hits. Thor’s 1st active ability Strong Smash states the following – “This skill deals a total of 120% HP damage and a total of 240% BP damage to the target.” Thor’s 2nd active ability Vertical Vortex states the following – “Deals 20% (*) +60% HP damage of ATK, for a total of 40% (*) + 120% BP damage. Hits continuously until landing.” Thor’s 4th active ability Tormenta Danza does as follow – “This support skill deals a total of 150% HP damage and 150% BP damage to the target. Cool Time: 30 seconds.”

ZEUS

Zeus is a 3-Star character that is classified as a Bruiser type in-game. Zeus makes use of a new debuff called “Charge” where he will deal additional effects to enemies that are afflicted by this debuff. Zeus’s 1st active ability Light of Punishment states the following – “Can be used to deal a total of 90% HP damage and a total of 180% BP damage to the target. When the subject is in a “charged” state, it gives an “electric shock” effect.” Zeus’s 2nd active ability Trials of Judgement states the following – “Most used skill, deals a total of 90% HP damage and a total of 180% BP damage to the target. When the subject is in a “charged” state, it gives an “electric shock” effect.” His 3rd active ability A Flash of Condemnation does as follow – “This skill deals a total of 140% HP damage and a total of 280% BP damage to the target. When the subject is in a “charged” state, it gives an “electric shock” effect.” His ultimate ability Execute Space-Time and Thunder Haze does as follow – “This divine power of Zeus deals a total of 450% HP damage to the surrounding and overhead objects, and when there is an “electric” enemy in the screen, it pursues with a lightning strike that deals a total of 90% HP damage and a total of 45% BP damage of ATK. Put the hit target in a “charged” state for 20 seconds.”

Hermes is a 3-Star character that is classified as a DPS type in-game. Hermes’s 1st active ability Critical Lift states the following – “Target receives 90% HP damage and 180% BP damage of ATK.” Hermes’s 2nd active ability Assault Dance states the following – “The enemy target is dealt a total of 90% HP damage and 180% BP damage.” Her 3rd active ability Razor Edge does as follow – “It deals a total of 140% HP damage and a total of 280% BP damage to the target.” Her ultimate ability Call My Name does as follow – “Deals 150% HP damage and 75% BP damage to the target target. When hit, ATK performs a total of 630% HP damage and a total of 315% BP damage.”

AMATERASU

Amaterasu is a 3-Star character that is classified as a Bruiser type in-game. Amaterasu’s 1st active ability Whoa! states the following – “Deals a total of 100% HP damage and a total of 200% BP damage to the target.” Amaterasu’s 2nd active ability What The Hell Are You? Fluffy states the following – “Does a 20% (*) + 40% HP damage and 40% (*) + 80% BP damage of ATK. * Continuous hit until landing.” Her 3rd active ability Because you’ve already protected your virus! does as follow – “Deals a total of 150% HP damage and a total of 300% BP damage to the target.” Her ultimate ability Export All does as follow – “For 15 seconds, it creates a barrier that nullifies all party members with a total of 10% HP damage for all attacks, +10% ATK and +10% CP increase.”

FREYA

Freya is a 3-Star character that is classified as a DPS type in-game. Freya’s 1st active ability Dear Breeze states the following – “The target receives 100% HP damage and 200% BP damage of ATK.” Freya’s 2nd active ability Emotional Screw states the following – “Deals a total of 45% + 15%* HP damage of ATK and a total of 90% + 30%* of BP damage to the target. *Continuous hit until landing.” Her 3rd active ability Razor Passion does as follow – “Deals 150% HP damage and 300% BP damage of ATK to the target.” Her ultimate ability Vanadiz Sentimental does as follow – “Hits all targets with a combined 250% BP damage and 500% HP damage.”

LOKI

Loki is a 3-Star character that is classified as a Crowd-Controller type in-game. Loki’s 1st active ability Icicle Pillar states the following – “Does the target a total of 200% BP damage and 100% HP damage.” Loki’s 2nd active ability Hale Dispar states the following – “Causes the target 100% HP damage and 200% BP damage of ATK.” His 3rd active ability Cold Vengeance does as follow – “Deals 150% HP damage and 300% BP damage of ATK to the target.” His ultimate ability Silent Avalanche does as follow – “All targets receive 500% HP damage and 250% BP damage of ATK, and they are “frozen” for 3 seconds.”

Susanoo is a 3-Star character that is classified as a DPS type in-game. Ame-no-uzume is a 3-Star character that is classified as a Support type in-game. Omoikane is a 3-Star character that is classified as a DPS type in-game.
