For hero collectors and gacha game lovers, GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is a blessing as it will feature over 40 different collectible heroes called “NIKKE”, essentially half-robot and half-human cyborg girls. This roster of heroes will only rise as time flies and new updates hit! GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is a gacha game where players need to summon their favorite NIKKE’s from the in-game summoning system that makes use of the gachapon mechanics. In such systems, different rarities of NIKKE’s are available to be drawn at different probabilities. The higher rarity of NIKKE’s has the lowest probability of being summoned while the lowest rarity of NIKKE’s has the highest probability of being summoned. Here are the core probabilities and different rarities of NIKKE’s in GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE:
- SSR NIKKE – 4% probability of being summoned
- SR NIKKE – 43% probability of being summoned
- R NIKKE – 53% probability of being summoned
In this guide for GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE, we will be taking a look at the different ways through which players can empower their collected NIKKE. We will also be providing a thorough team-building guide later to give players an in-depth understanding of how NIKKE’s can be used effectively in battles and how to clear all stages in the main story efficiently. In the early game, players are thrown with tons of resources as expected by any game. To maximize the use of these resources and use them judiciously should be the primary aim of players as GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is an idle game at its very best. Players cannot consistently grind their desired resources as the stamina shortfall will occur and gate their progress behind stamina. Hence, it’s important to understand how to make use of even the weaker heroes. This guide will help you with exactly that. Here are the core topics covered in this guide:
- Character Profiling
- Leveling
- Limit Break
- Skill Upgrade
- Equipment’s
- Resetting
NIKKE Profiling
Understanding any particular NIKKE should be the primary aim for any player when they try to build and empower them. In the profile section after clicking on the NIKKE menu, players will be able to see different information regarding the NIKKE in detail. This information will be as follows:
Rarity of NIKKE – This denotes the base rarity of the NIKKE and tells a lot about what players should expect from her. As GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE is a gacha game, differences between the different rarities of NIKKE are quite apparent in terms of base stats, damage multipliers, ammunition capacity, and more. Do not worry as we will be giving ways to even make your lower rarity NIKKE work and make them stronger.
Limit Break Status – This indicates the current number of limit breaks the NIKKE has undergone. More information regarding limit breaking will be explained in the next section.
Burst Type Indicator – The burst type of any NIKKE determines the build and play style of the character as a whole. This will be an important factor to note while covering the team-building guide basics. Generally, a Burst Type 1 NIKKE is suited best for a supporter/healer while Burst Type 2 and Burst Type 3 NIKKE’s are suited best for being a damage dealer. Defender NIKKE can be used variably but the majority of the good ones like Snow White have a Burst Type 1 indicator.
Stats – The core base stats of any NIKKE that affect how much damage she does, how much damage she can take, and more. They are usually Attack, Defense, HP, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Hit Damage, and Ammunition Capacity.
Element and Class – Elements are the classic red, blue, and green icons that every player will see alongside their NIKKE. Elements are one of the most strategic parts of GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. Each element is presented in a classic Rock V/S Paper setup where each of them is weaker and stronger than another element. The stronger element deals more damage to the weaker element. The 5 elements in the game are as follows:
- Fire Element – The fire element is weaker than the Water element but stronger than the Wind element.
- Water Element – The water element is weaker than the Electric element but stronger than the Fire element.
- Wind Element – The wind element is weaker than the Fire element but stronger than the Iron element.
- Electric Element – Electric element is weaker than Iron element but stronger than Water element.
- Iron Element – Iron element is weaker than the Wind element but stronger than the Electric element.
Weapon – The weapon of the NIKKE characterizes the single targeted damage output that she does with her basic attacks. This also determines the attack speed and interval of shooting time between the basic attacks. For example, a Shotgun wielding NIKKE will deal more damage with her basic attacks but her attack speed will be slow. Similarly, a machine will deal less damage with the basic attacks but the attack speed will be very high.
Leveling Up
Leveling up is perhaps the most important part while enhancing your NIKKE in GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE. This is only because of the fact that NIKKE gets increased base stats as they get to level up. Hence, the gain is incremental in proportion to the level. Keep in mind that this stat change is different than what equipment provides as they only add to the base stats which the NIKKE already has. If players feel stuck in any stage or area of the game, the first thing any veteran of the genre would recommend is to level up your NIKKE to their current max potential. In the beginning, every NIKKE can be leveled up to a maximum of Level 80. After that, they need to be limit broken for them to exceed their level cap. This initial level cap applies to every NIKKE, no matter their rarity.
Players can increase the levels of their collected NIKKE using Credits and Battle Data sets that are available through main story stages and dungeons every day. Every 10 levels your NIKKE progresses, players will also require an item called Core Dust. This Core Dust is required to open the gateway to the next 20 levels. Core Dust is a huge roadblock and will be the biggest bottleneck for early-game players as they progress. Try to buy Core dust from the Credit Market whenever you see it pop up. Rest complete the events, main story stages, and daily core dust dungeon to acquire more Core Dust.
Limit Break
Limit Breaking, as we explained earlier is one of the core methods for increasing your level cap. Players can access the limit break only when a NIKKE reaches Level 80 for the first time. After this, players will be asked to deposit a duplicate of the same NIKKE that players want to limit break. Limit Break is a very expensive procedure, especially if you are trying to limit break an SSR NIKKE that is very rare to obtain due to the low probability rates in the gacha system. Each limit break provides an additional 40-level access to the NIKKE. This might be sounding good to you if you’re a free-to-player, right? Well, sadly R rarity NIKKE cannot be limit broken at all. Hence, they already have poor base stats plus cannot advance after Level 80.
SR NIKKE’s can only be limit broken twice, adding 80 levels for players to invest in them. Hence, the total level cap of SR NIKKE stands at 160. SSR rarity NIKKE’s can be limit broken thrice, adding 120 Levels for players to invest in them. The total level cap for fully limit broken SSR NIKKE is 200 Level. Players can view the status of their limit breaking in the NIKKE profile or during the team selection stage. The amount of limit breaks the NIKKE has undergone is represented by Stars.
Skill Upgrade
Upgrading a NIKKE’s skills is one thing that many players straight out outlook and do not pay attention to. Upgrading skills is important as it increases the utility provided by that skill. For example, if a skill is damaging skill, then upgrading it will increase the damage multipliers associated with the skill or ammunition capacity of the NIKKE or a combination of both. Similarly, if a skill is a healing skill, upgrading it will increase the healing amount or healing rate provided by that skill. Players can upgrade their NIKKE’s skills using the materials obtained from the Training Room. Keep in mind that once skilled up, the heroes cannot be reversed and players cannot get back their invested resources. Each skill starts out at Level 1 but can be increased up to a maximum of Level 10.
Equipment
Equipment is one of the core areas where players can manipulate the stats for their NIKKE and something that isn’t as it is. For example, players have no control over the rest of the systems and their working. In equipment, players decide which pieces of equipment they want to equip on their NIKKE. Equipment can be farmed in different areas of the game. The best grade of equipment comes from the Interception game mode, as it is the designated equipment dungeon. Players can also get pieces of equipment through farming during the campaign stages. Each NIKKE has 4 unique slots for equipment. Each piece of equipment is available to be slotted to only 1 NIKKE at a time.
Coming to the basics of equipment, keep in mind that each piece of equipment comes with a class associated with it, a rarity attached to it, and the main stat attached to it. Players cannot a Defender class of gear on an Attacker class NIKKE. That’s the basic rule. Similarly, players cannot equip a slot 1 piece of equipment on Slot 2. That’s the second rule related to equipment. Each piece of equipment comes with a rarity – Rare, Epic, Legendary, etc. The higher the rarity of the piece, the higher will be the main stat value associated with that piece of equipment. Lastly, pieces of equipment can be upgraded using Credits. Upgrading equipment increases their main stat values. Manufacturer-exclusive equipment’s are also available to be collected that can be equipped to a specific NIKKE to provide exclusive benefits to that NIKKE.
Resetting
Resetting a NIKKE is one of the best systems that can be seen in GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE as the game offers very scarce resources like Core Dust and Gems. The cost of resetting a NIKKE was 10 Gems at the time of closed beta but the value can be changed during the global launch. Players can completely reset the NIKKE in terms of Levels and get all the materials used back. Players can do this unlimitedly for any NIKKE, no matter the rarity. This gives rise to more strategic team-building as players can easily invest their resources, again and again, to test out the different NIKKE’s and come to a conclusion as to which ones suit their taste and style.
This concludes our guide for Enhancing NIKKE’s and making them stronger. To play GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE on a bigger screen of your PC, it is highly recommended to use BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
